Ep. 50 Do you have secrets?

Louisse, who did not want to leave Leonard sick, was finally able to escape from the pursuit of the Queen's soldiers, and now they are both hiding in the cave in the mountain forest. There Leonard lay weakly with a face so pale.

"Fortunately we were able to avoid the pursuit of those soldiers. The knights of Leonard must have been looking for us because we did not return from the temple. We have to stay here until the knights arrive to save us." That's what Louisse had in mind.

Louisse stared worriedly at Leonard who was lying helplessly before him. Occasionally he wiped Leonard's sweat that poured, it was clear the prince was holding back his sorrow.

"Fucking writer! Why would he write if Leonard was immune to poison just because he was the main character?! He kept on letting out cold sweat for enduring the pain..." In his heart Louisse felt resentment and pity for Leonard like that.

"The outline in the novel only explains if Leonard was poisoned several times but his body was always able to fight the poison. But I never expected to see myself fighting the poison in front of my eyes straight away and it looked so painful." Louisse continued to grumble with annoyance over what had happened to Leonard until his tears began to pool in his eyes.

"I'll go for a while to find some water." Louisse told Leonard. But Leonard immediately prevented Louisse who was about to get up from his seat.

"Don't... Don't leave! Please stay by my side Louisse..." Prevent Leonard in a weak voice while holding Louisse's arm. Eventually Louisse abandoned his intention to seek water and remained there with Leonard.

"You always look like a kid when you're sick like this. I won't leave you and stay here." Louisse hugged Leonard's body, shivering with cold.

"His face was so pale and his body trembled in shivering coldness. Hopefully my body temperature can help him even if it's just a little." Louisse said in his heart while tightly hugging Leonard.

That night the two of them covered in Leonard's robes and makeshift bedding that Louisse made from the broad leaves of the forest and his own shawl slept with each other. Louisse prayed that the night in the cave was not too cold for Leonard. The next morning, Leonard's knights managed to find them before the Queen's soldiers and moved Prince Leonard to his palace. Louisse, though eager to remain by Leonard's side, took care of her, but she was forced to face Queen Media before returning to her own court.

At the Queen's palace, Louisse went directly to Queen Media. Although very angry, he should be able to resist cursing the woman sitting gracefully before him.

"It won't be a problem because Leonard's been drinking the poison, so at least that woman now half trusts me." Louisse said inwardly to restrain himself from remaining calm and acting ordinary.

"A lot of rumors have been bothering me lately, so I did it because I felt a little suspicious of you. Maybe you've turned to the side of others." Said the Queen calmly without the slightest guilt.

"There's no way I could do that. Until I will obey His Majesty the Queen's orders." Louisse assured the Queen.

"Then why did you run away with the First Prince?" Ask the Queen, who is still suspicious of Louisse.

"Of course Her Majesty the Queen already knew that the First Prince would not easily die from poison. If in that case I just kept quiet or left him, the First Prince would immediately suspect me. After all I did not mean to just run away, I had left a mark on every intersection of the road that I and the Prince passed. But those foolish soldiers could not find him! If Her Majesty doesn't trust me, you can check on her directly." Louisse defended himself confidently before the Queen.

"It is fortunate that before returning from the cave I have asked Sir Edmund to make a mark on the tree at every crossroads from the temple to the cave as an alibi." Inner Louisse who was smiling in his heart.

"Well, since as my confidant you have done well and dealt with this matter so well that the First Prince is not suspicious, you deserve a reward. I'll give you a jewel as a gift. As one of my people, of course you have to look luxurious to be proud of it." Queen Media said with a satisfied smile.

"It is a great pride for me to receive a gift from His Majesty." Louisse was forced to smile happily so that the Queen would not suspect him anymore, and it really made Louisse fed up but he had so far survived, it was impossible for him to give up so easily.

Upon her return from the Queen's court, Louisse ran straight to Leonard's court and impatiently opened the door to Leonard's room, where her husband was lying unconscious.

"Ravless Flowers! The poison that Leonard drank came from that flower extract!" Louisse exclaimed as soon as he entered Leonard's room, inside there was Rodrigo and Julian who were guarding Leonard. And oddly enough, Rodrigo was so shocked after hearing what Louisse had just said. About the poison of Ravless flowers.

"Ravless Flowers?!!" Rodrigo cried with a shocked face in disbelief.

"Surely you know this flower well, right, sir, Rodrigo Greenfox?"

Rodrigo is shocked when Louisse mentions his full name, which is unknown to anyone other than Leonard.

"You must know how to get the antidote, right?" Louisse said again.

Who exactly is Rodrigo and what secrets is he hiding?

"Your Highness Princess who are you really?" Ask Rodrego.

"Aren't you supposed to explain who you are, sir Rodrigo." Louisse turned around Rodrigo's words by looking straight at the tall, sturdy man.

"Sorry Rodrigo, there is no other option I have to use the information in the ekatra episode after the novel ends. It's all for Leonard." Inner Louisse.
