The Wedding Mission

9. Wife Troubles.

Jack and Allan still have not moved from where they stand, even though the car that Maxim drives has left. The two hooligan goons stared straight ahead in a perfect manner, while their right hands were still faithfully perched at each other's temples for a few moments.

It was only after the car disappeared from view, Jack and Allan immediately sat down on the asphalt. Their hearts were still beating hard with sweat the size of a corn seed that soaked the face.

Jack looked at Allan. "For you, we're almost maatti, damn it!" the more the man while kicking his friend's feet.

"Where do I know that she's Maxim's wife! After all, it was you who first proposed to approach him at the empty stop earlier!" allan did not accept. The man hit back at Jack's tease just as hard.

The two of them had a heated argument while fighting physically, before finally stopping due to exhaustion.

"This fight will be endless!" screeched Allan with choked breath. "Actually the one to blame is the girl! He could be deceiving us for a false reason!" sans annoyance.

Jack agreed to Allan's words. The two also swore a swearing slur at Gwen, who was clearly not there.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the jeep that Maxim was driving was silent. Gwen refused to speak. His face was bent in such a way, in order to maximize the pent-up anger of the past few days.

"If you want to go home, just tell me. No need to bother running away to the point of overwhelming a lot of people!" Unable to stand his wife's silence, Maxim finally opened his voice first.

"Who made an uproar? Don't talk too much!" sahut Gwen ketus.

"You left the house with the door open. It certainly makes the neighbors anxious. At least, go quietly without making a scene!" maxim was upset.

Gwen was silent, apparently reluctant to chimed in on the husband's words.

"And you think, who were the two men who just gave you that ride, huh?" connect Maxim.

Gwen is still tight-lipped. His eyes were busy staring at the expanse of grassland on his left right, while holding a haughty side.

"They're thugs and recidivists of robbery and sexual harassment cases! Despite being given a second chance, the court decided to exile them in the region under close supervision."

Gwen who was now about to lean back while closing her eyes, was shocked.

His eyes widened with a face that looked very shocked.

"Why didn't you tell me!" yelled Gwen furiously. The shadow of bad luck that almost happened, began to swirl around the head of the girl.

Maxim frowned deeply. "Tell me what?" ask the man confused.

"It's about the two recidivists who live in this little village! You just jeopardized my safety, damn it! I'll punish you for sure, if I complain about this to him!"

Hearing the mockery and threat that was thrown from Gwen's mouth, Maxim snorted in annoyance. "Why am I talking to you about that? After all, it was you who had harmed yourself by pretending to run away from home. In fact, you obviously don't know the ins and outs of this little village, you idiot!" Unable to be accused of being the cause of his misfortune, Maxim also returned the same loud scream Gwen.

Since getting acquainted until marriage, Gwen never really considered Maxim as a good man.

There are things that make Gwen's assessment of him reduced. In fact, as was the case at the moment, Gwen could not see the look of anxiety behind Maxim's cold face.

"Stop," whispered Gwen.

"For what?" maxim asked without taking his eyes off the road.

"Just stop here." Gwen again let out her voice, which now sounded a little louder.

"You want ap—" said Maxim suddenly stopped, as soon as the tears had flowed down his wife's cheeks.

Seeing Gwen about to open the car door, Maxim rushed to step on the brake pedal. The car stopped at a fairly empty highway.

Without saying anything, Gwen immediately got out of the car and ran away from Maxim. He even left his bag still on the car seat.

Maxim certainly did not remain silent. However, instead of running after his wife, like most of the shortsighted dramas the mother watched, the man chose to stay in the car while driving slowly.

"Gwen, stop acting like a child. Hurry up!" tell Maxim in a firm tone.

Gwen sneered. "I am a child. You better get out of here, don't bother taking care of a kid like me!"

Maxim groaned in frustration. His head is not playing. It seemed that taking care of Gwen was much more difficult than struggling with her own complicated and dangerous past.

"Gwen!" Maxim's still trying to be ordinary.

"Gwen Stefani Eginhard!"

"Don't change my name! My birth name is Gwen Stefani Holtzman!" pekik Gwen was angry. The girl quickens her steps to avoid Maxim. However, the husband continued to follow her from behind.

Upset by Maxim's behavior, Gwen unconsciously uttered cruel words. "Go you, poor fucking guy who doesn't know he's lucky!"

Maxim's speechless. His face turned cold and sharp, just like when facing the two thugs.

A second later, Maxim stepped on his gas pedal deeply and left.

Gwen was stunned for a moment. The girl was still shocked by the words that had just come out of her mouth. Soon her crying broke.

The man had actually left himself alone on the road.

Maxim gave a faint smile when he found a girl crouching while hugging her knees on the side of the road.

When viewed from afar, it seemed like the girl already had no more energy left.

Understandably, because he had traveled quite far by foot, this morning.

Maxim hurried to speed up his footsteps.

"Have you finished getting angry? Come on, let's go home!"

Gwen who was crying so hard, while hiding her head on the sidelines of both knees, suddenly fell silent.

As Gwen raised her head, the first thing the girl saw, was Maxim's handsome face with a faint smile.

There was no anger or cold like that. Maxim was really smiling. His hands even stretched out to help Gwen wake up.

"It's gonna rain soon. We need to hurry home. I've bought your favorite meat and chicken, we'll have a good meal today."

Hearing Maxim say so, Gwen's cries broke again. She hugged Maxim tightly, while continuing to scold the man for leaving him alone.

Maxim grimacing. It seems, it took him quite a long time to change Gwen's nature.
