Gwen ran over to Abraham's body, which was standing in the doorway. Like a dramatic movie scene, the girl sobbed while chattering long about her suffering during her life in the village with Maxim.
Abraham snorts. The man returned the princess' embrace, then said, "actually, it was your husband who suffered from taking care of a lazy wife and could not take care of a household like you, Gwen."
Hearing the father's curse, Gwen lifted her head from her arms. For a moment, he looked at Abraham, before then turning his gaze to Maxim who was busy bringing out some souvenirs for his father-in-law.
Getting a cruel look from Gwen, Maxim shrugged his shoulders as if he did not care.
"So, you've been communicating with that human?" Gwen looked back at her father, fierce.
Abraham sneered. He let go of the beloved princess' embrace, then flicked his forehead hard. "You've only been living there for a week, but you've been doing a commotion" he said as he passed over to greet his son-in-law.
Gwen complained while squealing cynically. Why is he wrong? Didn't you know that Gwen was so tormented? One week there is not much different than ten years.
"There's too much!" The father again sneered. Apparently, the last sentence actually came out of Gwen's mouth.
"Well, I love the melons from Wengberland!" then Abraham cried.
Maxim smiled faintly. "This is what I planted myself on the land belonging to my neighbor" said the man in a proud tone.
Abraham nodded his head, then patted Maxim's shoulder. "It's not wrong to choose you as Dad's son-in-law."
"Curtain!" cynter Gwen. Fed up of seeing their relationship turn out to be far from his expectations, Gwen chooses to enter the house first.
Seeing Gwen's departure, Abraham also invited Maxim to talk for a moment outside.
"Thank you for taking care of me, Gwen, Max. Lucky you found him the other day. I am so grateful" said Abraham. The man already knew the story of Gwen who was about to escape.
"Together, Dad. I was the one who neglected to look after him. I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't be so hard on her" Maxim replied regretfully.
Abraham shook his head. "No, no! It's happening as usual. It's for Gwen's good, too."
Maxim was silent for a moment, before finally nodding in agreement. The man said he had contacted the court to tighten oversight of Jack and Allan.
"Dad also asked Ronny to take care of them, so as not to get out of the factory area often."
While Abraham and Maxim were busy talking, Gwen chose to go up to the second floor of her room. The first place she missed was the walk in closet, which was inside the room.
"Oh, my collections!" gwen cried with tears. Hugged one by one the girl's favorite item.
"I'd love to take you all there, but I'm right! You can't come, because it's not worth living in!" gwen said in a fiery voice.
"What's not worth it, miss?" Ronny emerges from Gwen's open doorway. The man stood up straight while putting on a faint smile.
Seeing Ronny's figure, Gwen suddenly ran to hug him. In the past, the girl had always invited Ronny to a fight, but after living with Maxim, she missed her father's confidant.
Ronny returned his embrace briefly. "Thank God, you look fine" the man said.
Gwen rolled her eyes. "You only see it from the outside, but inside here, I'm having a pretty great inner upheaval." The girl pointed at her chest, as if there was a gaping wound there.
"Maybe because you're not used to it. Try to get used to accepting life there. I'm sure there's a lot of fun stuff that goes out of your sight."
Gwen immediately left Ronny and closed the room door loudly.
Ronny gasp. The man was stunned for a moment, before choosing to leave Gwen's room, as if nothing had happened.
Arriving on the first floor, Ronny greeted Maxim with great respect.
The three chatted for a moment while enjoying a slice of fresh melon, before Abraham then asked the son-in-law to rest in the room.
Understandably, the journey from Wengberland to Lille takes seven hours by private car. So, of course Maxim is now suffering from fatigue.
Maxim obeyed the father-in-law's orders. He went to the wife's room while carrying a small suitcase containing a little of her clothes. They plan to spend two nights there.
However, as soon as Gwen's room arrived, the man was surprised to find her changing clothes.
Gwen seemed to have forgotten, if now she was married and would not sleep alone in the room.
The girl did have a habit of changing clothes at will in the room. However, he did not do it while living in Maxim's house. The bathroom is separate.
Trying not to make a sound, Maxim closed the door again. Luckily, the sound of music installed by Gwen is quite loud, making her unaware of Maxim's existence.
A sigh came out of Maxim's mouth, when he had successfully closed the door. While scaling, the man leaned against the wall of the room with his eyes closed. He was trying to neutralize his heartbeat which was now pounding hard.
...**********...
Gwen's eyes now look much happier, having received orders from her father to take her husband for a walk around the city of Lille.
Of course Gwen is happy, because that way, she can all have fun while channeling her old hobbies.
"But, remember Gwen, you can't take Maxim to the mall!" Abraham suddenly returned to voice.
Gwen turned her eyes to her father. The girl flicked her fifth feed with a frown. "What's the matter, Dad?"
"Because of course, you're the one who's going to take advantage of that opportunity to take up your old hobby!"
Gwen remained silent. His mood suddenly dropped dramatically. The father is really not understanding, but secretly he has pocketed cash stored neatly in his mini safe.
As a result, here he is now. Instead of going to the center of fashion as he wanted, they instead visited a city museum dedicated to modern art as well as antiques.
"Why? It seems like you're not happy" said Maxim, when he found an unpleasant look on Gwen's face.
"I know, but I still ask. No need to pretend, you must be happy, right, dad defends you more than his own son!" tudding Gwen ketus.
Maxim raised his eyebrows. "Defending the how? He only gave an assessment in accordance with what he knew," said the man calmly.
"And he shouldn't have to know anything. You snitch!" After saying so, Gwen walked first to leave Maxim.
Maxim sighed. It seemed, vacationing at the home of the father-in-law did not make the man can live quietly.
