29. Maxim's Memory.

The last sentence Gwen said was absolutely unforgettable for Maxim. The man was trying to remember something, because it might just be a clue. However, the result is nil. Maxim's been hit by a severe headache.

"thank you. You shouldn't bother giving this away, because I don't have anything to give you" Maxim said.

"You've given Max a lot of things." Unexpectedly Gwen hugged the man tightly. "Thank you very much. I hope we can meet again next time. I don't know when."

Maxim could hear a slight tremor in Gwen's voice.

Gwen took off her embrace first. "Then, excuse me" he said.

"Wait!" Maxim suddenly took off the necklace he was wearing, and put it around Gwen's neck.

"For you." Maxim smiled knot.

Gwen touched the necklace. "Thank you" he said with teary eyes. Not wanting to be there any longer, he rushed down to meet Calia and Paul.

Once inside the taxi, Gwen's cries broke instantly. Gwen, who had hoped to return to Maxim, decides to abandon her intentions.

Seeing Maxim's life now without burden, makes Gwen's heart happy and sad. Maxim's been suffering too much. Now he deserves a new happiness without her.
