Seeing the arrival of her son and daughter-in-law, Calia hurriedly greeted them with a sumringah face. Naturally, because Maxim himself has not returned home for a year. They only met when Maxim was about to marry Gwen. That wasn't long either.
"Ma!" greet Gwen while tightly hugging her mother-in-law.
Calia returned Gwen's embrace equally tightly. "Gwen darling. It's great to see you coming here" said the beautiful woman.
"How was Gwen's trip here?" calia asked after releasing the hug.
"Funny Ma. I haven't traveled far." Gwen was happy. Although awkward, he tried not to show it.
"Thank God." Reply to the mother. Maxim hugged his mother tightly.
Calia then led the two of them into the house.
Gwen stared at the interior of the house with a look of amazement. In an instant, he seemed to enter into the middle ages alone. How not, the house is dominated by golden color that looks very luxurious and elegant. Walls, ceilings, even all the items displayed there, have a high artistic value.
Gwen stared at the grand staircase leading to the very luxurious second floor with intricate carvings. Not only that, the stairs are even covered with expensive red carpets.
However, what attracted Gwen's attention was a giant family photo displayed right opposite the stairs.
In military uniform, Maxim, Axel, and Paul look very handsome. Calia was no less beautiful than her dress.
Seeing Gwen stop, Calia smiled. "That was our last photo, before Axel and Maxim left for duty" he said.
"What a beautiful photo." Gwen praised. His eyes then turned to one other picture frame located not far from there.
Gwen is shocked, as the photo is a photo of her marriage to Maxim.
"Maxim sent this photo a few days after you got married. Mom put it on display. Do you like it?" ask Calia later.
Gwen nodded awkwardly. He was still not used to the fact that he had become part of this honorable family.
"I like it." Gwen smiled.
"Later, we take a family photo together? Mama is very sad not to be able to attend your wedding, because your husband forbids" Calia complained.
"We have to take a picture together."
Gwen did not respond, but a bearded and white-moustached man emerged from the house. Although using a walker in the form of a one-legged cane, but the man still looks quite gallant.
Gwen's dumbfounded. Now she was absolutely sure where the good looks of her husband came from. Maxim looks very similar to Paul, while Axel has similarities with his mother-in-law.
Maxim first approached the father and hugged him, followed by Gwen who now looked a little awkward and shy.
Trying to be as polite as possible, he bent his body to Paul.
This made Paul laugh. The man graciously carried the son-in-law into his arms.
After greeting each other, Paul also invited them to talk in the tea room.
There were many things they talked about there, one of which was the relationship Paul and Abraham had long established as good friends.
"We did lose contact, because I was transferred outside, and only returned after Axel and Maxim entered the military. However, the chance of meeting is very difficult because your father is also busy with his work."
Gwen listened intently to Paul's story.
"I'm sorry, I don't remember at all, Pa," Gwen replied honestly. He did remember a boy who had played with him, but that was all.
Paul laughing. "It's okay. Naturally, since your meeting was indeed very short."
After chatting, they were also welcome to dinner.
Gwen stared at the sumptuous dishes presented on the dining table with a sparkling face. It felt like he had not enjoyed such food for a long time.
"Behold, it's your saliva falling" whispered Maxim.
Gwen's surprised. He hurriedly wiped his lips which turned out to be nothing.
Maxim grinned thinly. He was completely unaffected by the sharp look that Gwen was now casting on him.
After dinner, both are welcome to rest in their rooms. Tomorrow the plan, Paul will take them (especially Gwen) for a walk outside.
Gwen again stared at the amazement of Maxim's room. The area may exceed his own room. Without excuse, he immediately threw himself into the man's big bed.
"It's like you're so happy to know the real me" Maxim said.
"of course. Who wouldn't love having a rich husband?" gwen answered without thinking.
Maxim grieves. "You really can't hide your true nature huh" he murmured.
Gwen sat on the edge of the bed. "Sorry, I let you down, but I'm not a two-faced girl. I'm just trying to be realistic and what it is."
Maxim shrugged his shoulders. She walked to the bathroom to clean up and change clothes, while Gwen was still lying on her husband's bed.
Fifteen minutes later, Maxim came out of the bathroom with a fresher face. When he was about to tell Gwen to clean up, the girl was busy closing her eyes on the bed.
Maxim smile. Slowly she walked up to Gwen and stroked her hair gently.
"Wake up girl matre," he whispered.
Gwen squirmed, but did not wake up. She took Maxim's right hand and hugged him tightly.
Maxim tried to escape. He was not dressed, and only wore pants.
"Wake up, let go of me!" maxim exclaimed as he continued to try to escape. However, Gwen even more tightly hugged the man's hand.
As a result, in order to free himself from the death embrace of his wife, Maxim also forced himself to pull up to the floor.
The surprised Gwen immediately stood up. Nahas, his leg got stuck in Maxim's leg and fell.
Their eyes widen, as it turns out, Gwen lands directly on Maxim's body.
"Basic messuum siaallan!" grumpy Gwen when she realized their position. Hurriedly he got up from there after hitting Maxim's chest first.
Maxim is in pain.
While walking towards the bathroom, Gwen continued to mutter the words of the accusation containing the curse on her husband.
Hearing that, Maxim squealed cynically. "I should be the one who's angry!" the man was upset.
