The Useless 8th Prince

The Useless 8th Prince
His brain is not working

If the Abyssal Basilisk was level 4 and its king had level 5, Wyvern was like that as well. Unlike the Abyssal Basilisk, Wyvern has many different types and sizes. Merely, Wyvern in front of Ciel looked different.

“The appearance is like Frost Wyvern, but why is it different..” muttered Ciel while activating the Eye of The Lord skill.

Frost Wyverns were creatures that lived above the height of the Black Cloud Mountains. Because the mountain itself is high through the clouds, the creatures usually live above the clouds, an area that is more extreme and cold.

Many people crave them to be used as mounts. It was just that the terrain to get them was extremely difficult. They are also difficult to tame. Most worryingly, Wyverns usually live in groups.

Frost Wyvern could be said to be of average size compared to other Wyverns. Their slimmer bodies are bright gray with light blue stripes. But the one in front of Ciel was different, even though his appearance was the same as that of an ordinary Frost Wyvern, the color of the creature was jet black with deep blue stripes.

“Hmmm ... Really as strong as the descendant of King Frost Wyvern?” Ciel raised his eyebrows with a surprised expression. The corner of his lips immediately curved upwards.

Darkfrost Wyvern ... is really a matching name!

Ciel immediately looked at Elena who was in her arms as she descended to the ground. After taking down the woman, he picked up a potion in his dimension bag then said, “The descendant of the Four Winged Snow Eagle King, although it is still level 3 now, it can rise to level 4. When I distract Frost Wyvern, you try to make a contract with him and then heal him.”

“Frost Wyvern ..” Elena looks shocked. “But, Mr-”

“I know your worries. But you can relax, it's a little different ..”

Ciel knew that Elena was worried that Frost Wyvern was calling her group. One Frost Wyvern was already considered dangerous to level 4 or early level 5 demons, not to mention one group containing dozens of Frost Wyverns.

It wasn't that Ciel was underestimating the Darkfrost Wyvern, just that, he felt that the creature was like a crow. It's not about the shape or the sound, but their attitude. If there was a white crow born in the group, the creature would be considered strange by its herd and even killed. It seemed like Frost Wyvern was like that as well.

Even so, Ciel remained cautious. After all, it is only a guess, not infrequently a guess is missed or wrong. After thinking about it, the young man finally decided to bet. If likened, there is someone who comes to give a sports car, it is almost impossible to refuse it.

Leaving behind Elena who was still shocked, Ciel walked slowly towards the Darkfrost Wyvern who was about to enjoy his hunt. The creature immediately looked at Ciel vigilantly. As a descendant of dragons, Wyvern still has the ability to sense the mana around him and is sensitive to danger.

Since Darkfrost Wyvern had the ability to control ice magic, Ciel decided to use the same magic. As he continued walking, the young man began to cast a spell.

“Dark ice magic .. dark ice spear.”

A black spear made of ice gave a cold feeling formed in Ciel's hand. The young man stopped walking then suddenly threw a spear in his hand while exclaiming, “Catch!”

Swooshes!

A spear suddenly appeared in front of the Darkfrost Wyvern. The unprepared creature was caught off guard. Spear directly hit right on ‘face’ Darkfrost Wyvern. But instead of being injured, the spear was completely destroyed when it hit the creature's scales.

“Hmmm .. Although ‘only’ magic level three, it should be able to scratch scales Wyvern level 4 ordinary.” Ciel stroked his chin with an astonished expression.

Darkfrost Wyvern who saw Ciel's attitude really felt humiliated. Roaring furiously, the wrathful creature immediately shot towards the young man who insulted him while opening a mouth full of sharp fangs like a sacrificial bowl.

Seeing the movements of the Darkfrost Wyvern approaching him quickly, Ciel did not resist and instead turned around and flapped his wings. He flew off into the distance not too fast or slow, followed by Wyvern flying with an angry expression on his face.

Shouldn't you be afraid of getting hurt or death, sir? Isn't that overkill?

Seeing the ‘little children and puppy’ flying away, Elena shook her head lightly. The woman immediately approached the severely injured Four Winged Snow Eagle. Seeing the puncture wounds and bites on the creature's body, he felt shock and pity.

Meanwhile, the dying Four Winged Snow Eagle also observed Elena approaching. The creature became alert. After all, other than Darkfrost Wyvern, it was the female pair that had left her wings injured making it difficult to dodge.

Elena who saw the four-winged eagle began to be unable to support her own body became worried. He seemed to be unconcerned when the creature attacked him and even approached him directly. The woman stroked the head of the white eagle before making him drink the potion given by Ciel.

“Are you okay, Lil-White?”

If Ciel saw the current Elena, he would have immediately complained.

Hey? Lil-White's? Little White? It was clearly a giant eagle!

The Four Winged Snow Eagle looked at Elena gratefully as it felt her body begin to recover. Feeling the hand of the woman stroking her head, the creature felt comfortable. She felt that Elena was very kind, in contrast to her hateful partner!

“Lil-White, will you make a contract with me?”

Hearing Elena's question, the eagle chanted then nodded.

Elena who saw him agreed to directly hug the eagle's head and stroked it. He immediately said, “Then you should rest and recover quickly. We'll do it after that.”

Meanwhile, Ciel and Darkfrost Wyvern were still playing a romp.

By the time the two passed through a valley full of giant, pillar-like stones, Ciel and Darkfrost Wyvern felt even more challenged as they had to fly away avoiding the stone pillars.

Ciel looked back. Looking at Wyvern who was getting closer, he increased his speed. But when he looked back, Wyvern's figure suddenly disappeared.

At that moment, the figure of the Darkfrost Wyvern suddenly poked out from the shadow of the stone pillar right beside him. The creature opened its mouth and tried to bite him. It's just that Ciel was evasive, but finally exposed to the creature's tail sweep and bounced dozens of meters.

Dust flying, Ciel's silhouette emerged from the puff of smoke while cleaning up the dust on his clothes. He looked at the Darkfrost Wyvern flying through the air with an interested expression.

“Is that Shadow Dash magic? I didn't think a Wyvern could use it.”

While Ciel was feeling interested, Darkfrost Wyvern looked at the figure of the young man standing unhurt with a strange expression. The creature felt strange as the demonic figure he was fighting instead smiled amiably as he tried to chase and eat it. The creature cried out in the heart.

Damnit damnit! What kind of strange demon is this? Something is clearly wrong! Something must be wrong with his brain!
