Temporary Farewell

After Aiz and Vahn eat their fill, Ciel invites them to leave the dirty place. The young man could not bear to be there. Although in Black Lily City there was also a border for the upper and lower circles, all the houses looked livable. “Where do we go, Mister?” asked Vahn hesitantly.

“Installation.” Ciel answered casually. “Because most stores in the trading district are closed, we go to rest first.”

“No need. You guys just follow me.”

Ciel immediately left to leave the two children. Since it was already big enough, he was sure that the two independent children understood what they should do next.

While Ciel returns to his room, Vahn and Aiz immediately wipe their filthy bodies. The warm water in the originally clear bucket became black and turbid with an unpleasant smell.

The two then changed into new clothes and brought two buckets of dirty water and threw it to a place that the innkeeper had told him about earlier. Afterwards, Vahn and Aiz returned to their room.

The two looked at each other with astonished expressions. Climbing onto the soft bed, the two children had complicated expressions on their faces.

“Iya?”

“What might Mr Gin say be true? Is he a father or mother acquaintance?” asked Aiz with a plain face.

“Sister doesn't know.” Vahn shook his head. He then looked at Aiz with a confident expression. “While I do not know, I am still sure that Mr. Gin is a good person.”

“Yes. Aiz also thinks so.” The girl nodded excitedly.

“Then we should go to bed and wake up early. Don't delay Mr. Gin.”

“Good.”

After speaking for a while, the two children lay on the bed and went to sleep. Perhaps because they feel safe and comfortable, both can sleep soundly a few moments later.

Next morning.

Ciel, Ryo, Vahn, and Aiz had breakfast together at the restaurant. Ryo looked at Ciel and then at the two children. He did not expect that the Prince was bothering to go out the night to pick up the two little children.

Aren't the two kids going to delay the mission? Why did Prince Luciel decide to take them? Wouldn't it be better to do it after completing the mission?

“You really want to take care of those two children, Mr Gin?”

Ciel took out a small pouch containing four pieces of gold and some silver and placed it in front of Don.

“It should be more than enough to support them for two or three months.”

“That's too much, Mr. Gin. You don't have to pay, just shelter and food .. My family can take care of those two kids for a while.”

“No.” Ciel shook his head with an indifferent expression. “I'm not used to debt. You do not need to spoil them both, the most important thing is that they can eat full every day. The rest of the money .. you can have it.”

Without feeling it, four days passed just like that and the time the Silver Snail Caravan departed had arrived.

Ciel stroked the heads of the two children in front of him while smiling warmly. In these four days, he spent a lot of time walking around, buying clothes for Vahn as well as Aiz, and so on. The thing that makes both kids happy.

“You two will be staying at Uncle Don's house for some time. Just wait, me and Ryo will definitely pick you up.”

Vahn and Aiz hugged Ciel before taking a few steps back and looking at the master.

“I leave them to you,” said Ciel casually.

They eventually split up. Looking at the Silver Snail Caravan that came out of Redstone City, Ciel let out a long sigh. His expression became calmer.
