“You really can't fly?”

Ciel asked once again. In response, Clark once again shook his head with an embarrassed face. It made Ciel really stunned.

You got to level 4 (early) without using your wings? Really fighting like the Lizardmen race? Damnit damnit! Absolutely useless!

Ciel cursed in his heart. I really think Clark's brain is a little too bad. A bird is supposed to fly unless they are a particular species such as penguins, ostriches, and so on. But as a Dragonborn, Clark completely ignored one of his best advantages.

After shaking her head lightly, Ciel became calmer.

“Although Demonic Beast level 4 is still in my guess, your training plan was canceled.”

Ciel looked at the knights who looked relieved. They seem reluctant to fight against such creatures. It was obviously venomous and looked deadly. The young man looked towards Shana.

“Shana, Clark, you're trying to fight him. Take it easy, if something goes wrong, I'll step in. You guys just follow my orders. Theo, you're watching closely. Make it a lesson.”

“Good, Master!”

Hearing Ciel's command, Shana immediately walked towards the Basilik Abyssal that was in the distance while pulling the Great Sword from her back. It seems that Shana strongly believes in the power of her master. Clearly, the young man had intended to test it out.

As for Clark, although his body was large and somewhat ferocious, he was actually a bit of a coward. But when Zenara saw him, he looked firm and advanced with confidence. Although afraid, to attract women, most men definitely try to act cool in front of him.

Unlike Shana, Clark's weapon is a long spear. That sort of thing actually doesn't fit Clark's muscular body. But because of the weapon that Lizardmen usually use, Clark imitated it.

Seeing the arrival of two figures into his nest, the Basilic Abyssal who was out for sunbathing hissed like a snake. It looks so threatening. Despite having a less clear view, the Basilic Abyssal could sniff out the scent of flesh and blood in the distance.

Clearly, Ciel and his subordinates entered the Basilic Abyssal olfactory area. The reason why Ciel told Clark and Shana to leave was for a reason. He wanted to know if his guess was correct.

When it was less than twenty meters away, Shana instantly shot towards the Basilik Abyssal. Of course the creature did not stand still to wait to be beaten to death. In response, the Basilic Abyssal instantly made a whipping motion with its tail.

Seeing the tail thick and full of hard scales and sharp enough, Shana immediately avoided it by jumping. The woman instantly slashed ruthlessly. The target was the neck of the Abyssal Basilisk. Only, the creature slightly dodged so that Shana's attack hit the back.

Instead of flesh tearing and blood splattering, Shana instead felt her hands tremble and tingle. The sword in his hand was completely unable to pierce through the scales of the Basil Abyssal back. The hard-swung sword was well held back.

Shana immediately jumped back to keep her distance. At that moment, Clark jumped forward and used a piercing motion. Merely, he had instead leaped before the face of the Abyssal Basilisk.

The creature was not stupid at all and instead opened its mouth wide. Very ready to bite Clark to death. Utilizing that moment, Shana instantly attacked from the side and slashed the left part of the neck of the Abyssal Basilisk. Because the scales on that part were not as thick as the back part, Shana managed to injure the creature.

Although not severely injured, the Abyssal Basilisk that felt pain instantly roared while swinging its tail. Shana once again managed to dodge, but Clark was actually whipped to the point of bouncing a few meters and then rolling on the ground before stopping when he hit a tree.

The fucker …

Ciel really couldn't bear to see Clark's way of fighting that was no better than a boy. He was convinced, the reason why Clark was able to level up was because of his father's continued training and fighting people who were weaker than him. Because of that .. he was not used to fighting stronger opponents.

“Retreat.” Ciel ruled in a cold voice.

Shana and Clark escape from the Abyssal Basilic. The angry creature chased after the two. Only, after more than thirty meters from the cave, the creature stopped and returned. After observing the surroundings, the creature returned to sunbathing even though the wound on his neck had not healed completely. To him, it might just be a scratch.

Seeing that attitude, Ciel suddenly chuckled. Zenara, Theo, the knights, even Clark and Shana who had just returned were shocked to see Ciel's expression. Chuckling with a smile and a cruel look, Ciel actually looked so happy.

As Ciel expected. The Basilic Abyssal did not come out of the inner circle because it expelled other powerful beings. But the creature chose to come out on its own for a certain reason, namely because it lays eggs.

Compared to the more dangerous inner circle, the creature seems to be intelligent enough to choose a relatively safer egg-laying spot. Seeing that, Ciel felt quite lucky.

What does Basilic Abyssal egg mean? That meant a powerful Demonic Beast baby!

If an adult Basilic Abyssal was too savage and wild, the newly hatched baby was clearly different. The origin could be well cared for and nurtured from the very beginning, it was not impossible to tame the baby. Of course, making the contract easier. It also meant that Ciel would have a land mount as well as another powerful subordinate.

“Don't ..” Shana looked at Ciel with a shocked expression.

“True. I'm sure the Abyssal Basilisk is guarding the eggs.”

Ciel walked leisurely past the knights and arrived in front of Shana.

“Do you intend to finish him off, sir? Even though she's a mother who looks after her children?”

As a woman from the Barbarian Abyssal tribe, Shana had a bit of intimacy and warmth to the Demonic Beast. As for Ciel, he was the opposite of Shana.

“Abyssal Basilisk. Its skin, claws, fangs, and horns could be used to make good equipment. In addition, his eyes, poison sac, and heart could be used in Alchemists. As for the meat, as long as it was purified, it could be eaten. It tastes good and has a tonic effect.

There are also valuable eggs. I'm not stupid enough to let go.”

Ciel walked past Shana with an indifferent expression. Walking step by step then pulling the two katanas while looking coldly at the Abyssal Basilisk.

The Basilic Abyssal who noticed the approaching Ciel instantly woke up. The creature hissed, threatening to attack if Ciel dared to approach.

Ciel had no intention of using gravity magic. If there was a mistake in controlling, he was afraid that gravity magic would be fatal. It collapsed the cave due to its fight with the Abyssal Basilisk then destroyed a precious egg for example.

A dangerous and viscous killing intent emanated from Ciel's self. His eyes glistened coldly. He suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of the Abyssal Basilic and prepared to slash. But something magical happened.

The notoriously vicious and arrogant Basilic Abyssal completely lowered its head to the ground. He gave up on Ciel.

Ciel stopped his attack with an awkward expression. In Ciel's eyes, the creature before him was like a pile of gold coins. Once he finished off the Basilic Abyssal, he would earn a lot of money.

But Ciel also understood it very well. Rather than killing a goose laying golden eggs and taking its eggs, it is better to take care of the goose laying golden eggs. Maybe at the beginning is a bit complicated and a loss, but definitely a lot of profit in the future.

Looking at the Abyssal Basilisk which was quite wise and intelligent, Ciel could not help but complain inwardly.

Didn't the book say you guys were ferocious and unyielding?

Why did you give up? Are you too smart or is the book lying to me?

The point ... In the meantime you are safe.
