“Are you really okay, Mister?”

Isabella looked at the disheveled looking Ciel. Even so, he felt that the young man was actually getting more attractive. It looks quite careless and indifferent, but keeps working hard to achieve something. The woman began to daydream, a red hue appearing on her cheek.

Ciel thought as he stared at the grasshopper. Unlike rat poison, insecticides should not contain too strong a poison. If the poison was too strong, Ciel was afraid that the herb would not only kill the grasshopper, but also the wheat and other vegetables. Trying to make a recipe that is natural and harmless, Ciel is always faced with failure.

The young man immediately took out an empty paper, a quill pen, and ink. Soon, he wrote down some materials suitable for potion combinations. Some types of leaves, fruits, minerals, and others. After finding a suitable material, Ciel immediately calculated the composition or dose that is right for the potion. Many numbers and scribbles on the paper, made the young man astonished as well.

Looking at the new sheet of paper that read the recipe ‘insecticide’, Ciel nodded in satisfaction. Without further ado, Ciel immediately searched for the materials stored in the laboratory's small warehouse. Finished collecting the materials, he immediately put them on the table.

Light a fire, fill water in a chemical bottle, boil, insert various objects and dissolve them. One by one with the right amount. Time and temperature must also be right so as not to fail. When all the objects had dissolved, Ciel immediately put out the fire. About ten seconds later, he put in two leaves that looked like tomato leaves.

When two leaves enter into a dark green solution, the leaves dissolve immediately. Seeing no reaction in the beaker, Ciel swallowed the saliva.

In order to give up, the soluble leaves suddenly change the color of the liquid in the beaker. The dark green color is starting to become brighter, light green. After a while, the liquid suddenly turned into a violet color.

For some reason, now Ciel was happy. It has been four days he tried to give a wide range of samples ‘insecticide’, but the results are nil. When dripped onto the grasshopper, the creature even ‘blinked’'s eyes, as if he was in a sauna with a happy expression. It really hurt his pride!

When the table shook, a strange thing happened afterwards. Grasshopper that had been ‘diam’, suddenly fell from a branch with a stiff body. Realizing that, Ciel again observed the glass box. After a good look, the grasshopper's eyes had already blurred. The grasshopper's body was also dry, as if all the fluids in his body were evaporating and just gone.

Ciel silently swallowed the saliva as he muttered, “This is rather horrible, isn't it?”

Shaking his head, Ciel immediately confirmed everything. He opened the glass box and took the body of the grasshopper. The insect was completely dead and its body was dry like a fossil.

Not satisfied with just that, Ciel immediately picked up a few glass boxes that had grasshoppers inside. The young man dripped drop by drop onto all the locusts. After a while, all the grasshoppers really ‘dry’.

Ciel immediately lowered his head, his body trembling slightly. When raising his head, a happy look could not be hidden from his face.

“Hahahaha! Finally succeeded! Damnit damnit! I did not expect that it turned out to be this simple,” exclaimed Ciel with a satisfied expression.

Hearing the knock on the door, Ciel immediately pretended to cough. He tried to sit quietly then said, “Masuk.”

Looking back, Ciel looked at Elena who was standing with a flat expression on her face. The beautiful woman looked so calm.

Meanwhile, Ciel suddenly stood up and walked up to him. Slightly carried away, the young man suddenly hugged Elena and slightly raised her. He looks like a high school kid who is relieved after the graduation exam, or maybe looks like a college kid who is relieved after his script is accepted.

“I did it, Elena. I finally made it ..”

Damnit damnit! He locked himself in the lab for four days, not going out except for a shower and cleaning himself. All my struggles have paid off!

Ciel felt a soft and light body. It felt a bit cold like the wind in autumn. The aroma is quite fragrant as well as soothing. Closing his eyes, Ciel felt at ease now.
