The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun

The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun
VIII. Surya and the Gods

“Again good mood, Sur?”

Surya released his airpod from the ear. Next to him, God had already come running on a treadmill like himself.

“Hm.” Surya nodded then raised his running speed again.

Seeing Surya raise his running speed, the Gods did not want to lose. It also increases the difficulty of the treadmill. Surya just shook his head and smiled knotingly looking at his cousin's behavior.

Today Surya feels like an energizer bunny that never runs out of power. From morning to evening he was very productive. Even by this evening, Surya was not tired. Actually, there are also other reasons why Surya is trying to occupy himself.

Because he couldn't stop thinking about Varsha.

“How about the gamer you want to recruit?” Ask the God in between his breaths, disperse the daydream of Surya.

Surya gave his thumb.

“Nice.” Deity Words.

“How about your matchmaking?” Surya asked back.

God let out a long sigh, “Have forgotten that topic. How're you? Any interesting women?”

“Hmm..”

“Hm??”

God shut off his treadmill. Then he looked at Surya like a starving hyena finding tender prey.

“What is this... there is apparently..”.

Surya shakes.

“Suryaaaaaa?”

The god called out loudly Surya with an exaggerated affectionate tone. Make some people at the gym look in their direction. Surya finally answered, worried about the excitement his cousin would make if not.

“Ugh... Okay. Do you remember the gamer I wanted so badly to recruit?”

“Yaaaaa.”

“The gamer's mother-”

“Wait. A minute.” Cut God. “Oooh is your type. It's only fitting that those young girls didn't manage to conquer you.” Added again.

“Not so.” Surya's response before the Gods over bounces everywhere else.

“The gamer I wanted to recruit was a four-year-old genius. Her mother was probably about the same age. Owner of your favorite cafe.”

“Ooooh. So your type young mothers..It is only fitting that single girls do not manage to conquer you.” Ledek the God again.

Surya glanced sharply at the Gods then grinned, “Private Cafe... You actually prefer the coffee or the owner?”

The god immediately coughed at Surya's words. Surya finally got off his treadmill and patted God on the back.

“Think again carefully if you want to taunt me, Cousin.” Surya smiled as he left the gym.

The God Cough was still not finished when suddenly his phone shook. ‘Mom’ posts are displayed on the touch screen.

“Halo, Ma.”

“Dewa Darling, do not forget tomorrow you have an appointment lunch with the daughter of the Wardana Family yes.” A soft meek voice sounded from the God's phone, so motherly.

God sighed before answering, “Ya, Ma.”

They spoke again for a while until God hung up. I don't know why, God remembered Surya's words just now. There was actually another reason God had invited Surya to accompany him to the Tessa cafe a few days ago.

He was very sure that the taste of Tessa coffee was delicious. But he's not as good as before as he realizes there's a special feeling he has towards Tessa. He was afraid that all of that would affect his assessment of the quality of Tessa products. That is why the Gods need Surya's objective opinion.

The god then opens his text message and then types.

Tessa, do you want to have dinner tomorrow while discussing retail coffee?

But a few seconds later the God removed it. Then change the message.

Tessa, tomorrow afternoon I'll come to discuss retail coffee with you.

Then he pressed ‘kirim’.

“Oooh. Continue, continue?”

Tessa is calling Varsha because she wants to know how Teja and her best friend are after finally signing a contract with Surya. To be honest Varsha's condition a few days ago still made him a little worried.

“No more continuous. The man is also married.” Speak behind the speakers.

“Surya said so?” Tessa asked curiously.

“No. I saw him wearing a ring on his ring finger.”

“But Surya is not married, Var.” Tessa response fast.

“Hmm... To be honest once I know that the mysterious man is Surya Abhiyoga, I immediately told Var..” Tessa slowly feared offending her best friend.

“Okay..”

“And according to my search results. Solar clean. The news that appears only about Akasa Game, Akasa Group, awards, donations, and other positive things. Oh maybe one scandal.”.

“Hm?” The sound behind the speakers sounded a little curious.

“In one magazine he was voted The Hottest Conglomerate of The Year. There is even one tabloid that talks specifically about the checkered stomachs of the Abhiyoga.” family

A snorting sound was heard from behind the speaker. Then it turned into a crisp laugh. Tessa who heard the laughter of her best friend also giggled. He realized just how absurd the sound of the article he read.

“Means the Gods are there too?” Varsha's voice sounded faint.

Tessa didn't just know a god. Dewa was Tessa's upperclassman when she was in college. And Tessa likes him. But of course he is good. Only Varsha knew about his feelings. Tessa knows that a God Abhiyoga is beyond her reach.

Tessa is not a lowly person, but she knows herself. Although his family was arguably quite wealthy, his level was much different from that of the Abhiyoga Family. Plus also many other beautiful women who always surround the Gods. Makes Tesa slowly step back and forget her feelings.

“Yeah... she is also there.” Tessa bitter.

“Sorry, Tess..

“So belly of checkered Gods, not?” Led the sound on that speaker again while holding back a laugh.

“Varshaaaaaaa!!”

Ding!

Suddenly there was an incoming message notification on Tessa's phone. A message from the gods. Tessa read it and snorted in annoyance. Exasperated by the God who was so obsessed with his coffee.

Rain was still lying on top of the caravan, next to me. Rain and I just finished a third pack of marshmallow snacks. And I don't know who started it, but Rain and I took turns asking each other questions.

“Favorite drink?” Ask Rain.

“Milkshake chocolate. It's my brother's favorite drink, but I like it now.” My speech.

Suddenly a memory flashed through my head. The small Earth smile that appeared every time he took a sip out of his favorite drink, a chocolate milkshake. While little Surya can only frown because it can not stand the sweet taste.

“Favorite flowers?” I asked Rain before getting swept back into those memories.

“Sunflowers.” Rain replied without hesitation.

“My mom was proposed with sunflowers by my dad. And every anniversary of their wedding, my father would always give my mother a sunflower.”.

I could see Rain's eyes becoming sad, although his face still did not appear so clearly in my vision. But before long, those two eyes sparkled again.

“Eat him as a child first, I had a dream to apply also with sunflowers. A thousand sunflowers. But after a little big, I thought again how my hand could hold a thousand sunflowers.” Rain said with a smile.

My heart stopped beating. That smile is so beautiful. Two sweetly decorated dimples on both of her cheeks. Real pretty.

But why does that smile look so familiar…

...

I suddenly sat in a restaurant. In front of me was Rain and a boy.

“Tales like allaaaaaanya.” Said the boy sitting in front of me. Then he tried to make a circle as big as possible with his two small hands.

So adorable that it makes me laugh. Suddenly I heard the sound of a charming crisp laugh. Apparently Rain also could not help but hold his smile.

Her smile was so beautiful and beautiful. Two sweetly decorated dimples on her face.

...

Wait for.

That woman shouldn't be Rain.

That.. Varsha.

Surya suddenly opened his eyes, he woke up. A thread of sweat appeared on his wet temple. Surya then massaged his forehead. He hadn't had a new dream about Rain in a long time. Usually all that appears is the same dreams that continue to repeat. Even this time he discovered a new Rain trait...

Surya rushed straight to his study. He sat in his chair and took a black journal from the desk drawer. He opened the journal, sliding sheet by sheet until he reached the blank page.

Then Surya took his pen and wrote the date of today at the top. Next his hand danced swiftly on the paper, describing his dream earlier. Especially the new Rain. The mystery girl apparently also had dimples, which somehow happened to be very similar to Varsha's.

Today is the first day Teja works at Akasa Game. After lunch, Varsha delivered Teja to Akasa Tower. Although the distance traveled is quite far, the transportation is very easy. Varsha and Teja only take a one-time trans bus ride from a bus stop near their home and in 30-60 minutes will arrive directly in front of Abhiyoga's tower.

The jedar!!

Hearing the sound of lightning, Varsha looked out the window of the bus. The sky is cloudy, it seems to be raining soon. He then pressed the stop button near the bus door. Soon Varsha and Teja will arrive at the Akasa Tower bus stop. As soon as the bus parked to stop, the couple mother and child immediately got off.

But the rain suddenly became heavy. From the bus stop, they had to walk about another 500 meters to get to the building. Varsha also weighed the options he had. Finally he decided to run through the rain. Varsha doesn't want Teja to be late on her first day. And he himself must immediately go to campus to attend classes.

Varsha tightened her shoelaces and then put Teja's hood on her head. Then he lifted Teja, carrying her. He also placed his sling bag over his little son's head to protect him from the rain.

Varsha had just run and prepared for wetness but no water was dripping either Teja or herself. A red umbrella floated above their heads. Varsha glanced beside him. A handsome, tall man in a full suit was holding the red umbrella.

“Om Solar!” Sapa Teja is excited.

“Hai Teja.” Surya smiled.

“Kok Om is here?” Ask Teja.

“It just so happens that there is a business near here, so Om walk only.” Obviously Surya.

Seeing the slim body of Varsha seemed to mind holding Teja, Surya so wanted to help her.

“Mama Teja, let me just carry Teja up to the building.”

“No need to bother Mr. Surya, let me just.” Reject Varsha fast. “Thank you for the umbrella.” Added Varsha then with a smile.

“By pleasure, Mama Teja.”

The three walked together in the rain under a red umbrella. Even from far away it is clear that Surya is leaning more towards Varsha and Teja. The man could feel raindrops on his unshaded shoulder. But instead of feeling cold, he felt a sweet warmth radiating throughout his body.
