The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun

The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun
XXIXES. Doubt

“Just the next day, Aunt Tara miraculously came out of her coma. Although initially not lifted, I continued to contact Surya and finally connected,” said Dewa.

“But after hearing the news ... he had an accident,” continued Dewa again with a heavy tone. It was as if the bad memory had just happened yesterday. Then Tessa squeezed the God's hand gently, trying to strengthen it.

The god sighed deeply then said, “Surya has suffered from amnesia since that event.”

“Amnesia? Then how did he find Rain?” ask Tessa. “Kak Dewa said earlier, Kak Surya is also looking for Rain.”

“There are times when he gets a memory about Rain. Although only a little,” replied Dewa. “Because that's so hard to find.”

The god then frowned, trying to recall the memory of a few years ago. “I remember Surya returning again to Purwa Cliffs and the caravan. Trying to match the date when she met Rain.”

“However, his efforts did not bring any results at all. The name Rain or any other girl was not on the guest list for the day. Precisely there is even the name of a company.”

Tessa gaped and covered her mouth with her hands. Suddenly everything makes sense now. Of course Rain or Varsha's name wasn't in the guest book. Because it was Tessa who gave the gift of staying in the caravan.

“It ... it's the company my father worked for,” Tessa said after recovering from her shock.

“My father got the gift of staying in the caravan from his office,” Tessa said.

“However, because on that day my whole family had to attend a cousin's wedding, I ended up giving it to Varsha ...”

As soon as Tessa finished telling the story, the two fell silent. It was like trying to digest all the information, which they had just received. After a while, Tessa and the Gods looked at each other and smiled.

“I hope after this there will only be happiness for Varsha and Surya,” said Dewa earnestly.

Tessa smiled knots and nodded slowly. It is not only God who bears witness to the efforts and efforts of his loved ones. Tessa has always been by her best friend, seeing her struggles over the past five years even more. He wants Varsha and Teja to be happy in any way, with or without Surya.

“I'd better say goodbye first. I still have other business.” The instantaneous God sentence returned Tessa's focus to her.

“Good, Brother Dewa. Thank you very much today,” Varsha said finally.

“Sama-sama.” God smiled.

Shortly after, the man got out of the Private Cafe and drove off in his car. Leaving Tessa alone sitting on the couch. But suddenly a beautiful woman came out from behind the curtains that limited the cafe with a dirty kitchen.

“You've heard everything, Var?” ask Tessa. There was no surprise at all on his tone. It was as if he had known from the beginning that the woman had been there since.

Varsha nodded softly in response to her best friend. But he just remained silent without a sound. His facial expression was illegible.

“What will you do next?” ask Tessa again.

Varsha sighed before finally saying, “I .. don't know.”

Surya breathed out strongly. Then he leaned back in his chair, looking at the ceiling above. His head was full of all sorts of thoughts. But what filled his space the most was a woman and a boy.

Suddenly the sound of the door being knocked. Before long a young man in a neat suit came into the room. He walked up to Surya and stopped right in front of his desk. Then the man looked down respectfully, waiting to be given an order.

“You've come,” says Surya is more like a statement than a question.

“Sorry, make Mr. Surya wait,” the response of the man in front of him, still with his head down.

“I want you to investigate the accident at Akasa Hotel,” Surya said.

“Good, Sir.”

“What's there again, Mr Surya?”

Surya stood up from his chair and walked slowly toward the man in a neat suit. As soon as it arrived in front of him, Surya sat leaning on the table. Both hands are folded in front of the chest.

“All my memories have returned, Raka,” he said slowly. “I vividly remember what happened before the accident five years ago.”

Raka, Surya's assistant, just shut up in front of him. Listening to every sentence from his boss solemnly.

“At that time I tried to hit the brakes. I pressed it many times but it didn't work. Until I realized that the brakes were blong,” Surya story.

Surya was silent for a moment and finally shook his head. “But that's impossible. Even if the probability is very small.”

“But you know what's most suspicious, Raka?” ask Surya.

“In addition to periodic checks, in every car Abhiyoga family members are also equipped with a device,” he explained again.

“Camera black box. To record the situation outside and inside the car.”

Surya is small. “But that thing doesn't exist. Lost without trace.”

“I know the results of the investigation stated that the black box was allegedly released and fell into a ravine near the scene,” said Surya. “That means there are two possibilities that should have a small chance to happen, but instead so materialized.”

“Too many coincidences .. very suspicious,” continued Surya almost whispered.

Surya then walked towards Raka. As soon as he stood beside her, he placed one of his hands on the shoulder of her assistant. Then slow it down.

“In addition to the incident at Akasa Hotel, I also want you to investigate until the end of the accident five years ago,” orders Surya. His voice was slow but very clear.

“I trust you completely, Raka.”

“Good, Mr. Surya,” replied Raka in a steady voice.

After making sure Surya no longer has instructions for him, Raka leaves the room. Surya then looked at his assistant until his silhouette was no longer visible. His facial expression is hard to read.

Shortly after, there was a knock from the door. It seems that Surya received many guests today. The figure of a friendly-faced and smiling young man entered his room.

“There can be helped, Boss?” the question was so in front of Surya.

“Are you busy, Ardi?”

“Thanks to you, I'm always busy, Boss,” joked Ardi. “But of course, I always have time for Mr. Boss.”

“I need your expertise ..” said Surya with a serious look.

“Of course, Bo-

“Yes first,” cut Surya before the employee completed his response.

Instantly Ardi's expression turned more serious. “Good, Boss.”

Not many know this, but Ardi was previously a black hat hacker with extraordinary abilities. Fortunately before the young man wasted his life even further, he was discovered by Surya and eventually recruited into the Akasa Game. Thanks to that, Ardi is very grateful to Surya and will do anything for his boss.

“I want you to investigate the incident at Akasa Hotel and my accident five years ago,” Surya said.

“Understand, Boss.” reply Ardi quickly.

Surya was fixated for a moment, then finally said, “I also want you to investigate and watch the movements .. Raka.”
