Varsha looked at the man from her past. There was no expression of surprise, shock, or anything like Varsha had expected on Surya's face. There was only a polite smile there. Varsha who still could not digest what was happening in front of her subconsciously finally shook Surya's hand.
“Varsha Ametarka.” Answer slowly. “Momname Teja.” And then again with a clearer voice.
“Nice to meet you, hmm.. Her mother Teja.” Surya's response hesitantly decided which call he would use.
“Sama-sama Sir Surya.”
Surya also invited Varsha to sit on the sofa right next to Teja. The drinks were available at the table. In front of Surya and Teja there is the same drink. Hot chocolate milk with a sprinkling of marshmallows on it.
“I had a little chat with Teja about his amazing performance.” Surya started the conversation.
“I really did not expect that Teja was only four years old.” Surya Smiled while Teja blushed.
“Tja is indeed a special child.” Varsha responded.
“True. Teja is a special kid. I can't wait to discuss further if Mama Teja doesn't mind.”
Surya then explained at length about Akasa Game or game or DRF or something about the game. While Teja listened and sometimes responded enthusiastically. The point is Varsha can't process what's going on nearby. His mind is fucked.
Why...Did he really not recognize her? Is he too easy to forget? Why is Surya acting like a stranger to her?
Deg.
Suddenly Varsha felt someone punching her heart hard. He just realized it now. Varsha and Surya are strangers. They do not know each other's real names. Come to think of it, he had even known Surya for less than a day…
It might be natural for Surya to not recognize him. For Surya maybe Varsha is just one of the many women he has come into contact with. One of the women who spent the night with him…
Although for Varsha Surya is someone special in his life. Which brings him to Teja, the baby he loves so much. It may mean nothing to Surya…
“Mama Tea?”
Surya's heavy voice disperse his mind and pull Varsha back to the Akasa Game's office.
“Sorry Mr. Surya. If Mr. Surya doesn't mind, me and Teja will have a few days to consider it.” Varsha finally responded to Surya.
“Of course I don't mind. No need to rush, although of course I want to as soon as possible be able to cooperate with Teja.” Surya said with a smile.
“Now it is an honor for me to be visited by LittleCloudy.” Plus, it produces a red hue on Teja's face.
“Thank you, Mr. Surya.” Varsha then gave Teja the code to say the same thing.
“Thank you, Om Surya.” Teja.
“I should thank you.” Answer Surya.
He then squatted in front of Teja while thrusting his hand before finally saying, “Thank you, Teja.”
Teja smiled at Surya then grabbed his hand to shake hands. After that, Surya stood up again and offered his hand to Varsha. The beautiful woman tried to put on a smile, then shook Surya's hand.
Surya then drove Varsha and Teja to the front of the elevator. Then he waited with the two until the elevator came and took the mother and child down. As soon as they left, Surya looked at his right palm. Clench and then open it again.
There was something strange about him shaking hands with his Mama Teja. It felt like there was a small electrical vibration electrocuting him. Her thing, it's not painful. It spread warmth throughout his body. Surya smiled and walked back to his office. Suddenly he felt his whole day was going to be amazing.
***
The day has changed and Surya's mood still feels very good. Since the arrival of Teja and his mother to Akasa Game yesterday, I don't know why things are going so smoothly. He managed to sign several deals. All the game projects that are being done also produce promising progress.
So when God came to persuade him to accompany him, Surya immediately agreed. In recent weeks, God has been talking about coffee made by a cafe that he accidentally found. He was very impatient to want Surya to try it.
Dewa wanted to ask his cousin's opinion, because he was interested in making a canned version of the coffee and selling it in retail. Although the title is the CEO of Akasa Food, Dewa has not produced many meaningful breakthroughs and he feels this coffee can make it to that level.
“The coffee taste is amazing, Sur.”
“Not should you lower my expectations first?” Surya's response chuckled.
“Oh is not necessary. This coffee is as delicious as that.” Reply Dewa places great emphasis on the word ‘enak’.
The god was driving while Surya sat beside him. Suddenly the phone vibrates. He reached into his pants pocket and grabbed them. Apparently his assistant sent him a message. Not too urgent.
Surya took a long breath. The only thing that makes Surya's beautiful day imperfect is the fact that he has not heard from Teja and his mother.
“Why Sur? The long-awaited lover has not replied to a message?” Ledek God.
“Sort of it.”
“Seriously? For real?”
The god whose initial intention was only joking became shocked himself. Although many women tried to get into the life of his cousin, Surya remained like a solid stone that was not conquered. Surya is so focused on his career and only spends his time to add to the success of Akasa Group. Especially in the last five years.
“There are genius gamers that I really want to recruit. But I still haven't heard from him.” Obviously Surya.
“Ah... of course.”
The god nodded his head. Of course it was about work for his cousin. After all, Surya's entire life is a job and the Akasa Group.
“But by the way about lovers. Didn't your mama bother you with a would-be escort?” Ask Gods.
“It looks like my mama has started giving up.” Answer Surya.
“How lucky! My mom kept telling me to meet a lot of girls. Children of the Malini Family, grandchildren of the Badhra Family, nephews of the Diraya Family, and many more. I can't even remember all his names.” The God's words vented his frustration.
“Maybe your mom can't wait to pet a grandchild.” Solar Ledek.
The god rolled both his eyes. Her mother was a gentle woman who was so pampering herself. But since a few years ago, he continues to strive to match the Gods with the daughter of their partner conglomerate family. All God wants is to fall in love naturally without being forced.
It did not feel they finally arrived at the favorite cafe of the Gods. On one of the large glass cups it says 'Private Cafe' which is the name of the cafe. Surya and the Gods opened the door and were immediately greeted with the sound of bells above their heads.
The atmosphere of this cafe is so comfortable, almost all of the furniture is wearing wood. There are several large and small colorful sofas blending warm tone colors. In addition, there are also high tables and stools that are filled with patterned bearings. The acoustic song slowly chanting adds a homey feel. This place reminds Surya with the cafe 'Central Perk' from the TV movie series ‘Friends’.
“Welcome to Private Cafe. What message do you want, sister?”
Greet a young lady standing behind the counter table. It was obvious that he was trying to force a smile on the gods.
“I told you to call the gods. Two regular black coffee, please.” God smiled. “I hope you don't get tired of seeing me.” Add it again while giving her credit card.
“Of course not. We welcome all customers with open arms.” Said the woman trying to resist the urge to roll her eyes.
“Ah, this is my cousin Surya.”
“Halo.” Sapa Surya's.
“Surya is Tessa, owner of Private Cafe.”
“Halo.” Tessa says hello.
“Please sit down, we will immediately make an order Sister.” Tessa said again while returning God's credit card.
Tessa started making coffee while God and Surya sat on the sofa near the counter. Not long after, two large mugs filled with hot coffee had been presented in front of them.
Once it was not too hot, Surya lifted the mug and smelled the aroma of coffee. Then he sipped his drink a little and sure enough the taste of black coffee was really delicious. The god squinted his eyes at Surya waiting for a comment from his cousin.
“Enak.” Surya said while nodding in agreement.
“Ya, right?”
“If you can find a formula to keep the taste of this coffee the same even if canned, I think this product will be quite hits.”
“I agree.” God's Timpal. “But the first thing to do is persuade the owner of the cafe.” Add it again with a slightly grim tone.
“I've been here a few times and tried to convince him but still failed.”
“Are you going to give up?” Ask Surya.
“Of course not, Cousin.” God answered with a confident smile. “Excuse me for a moment.”
The god brought his coffee mug, then walked towards the cashier. He sat in the stool right next to the counter. I tried to get Tessa to talk.
Surya shook his head at the deity's behavior. This cousin does not give up. If he has one goal, then he will continue to pursue it until he gets it. But come to think of it maybe it wasn't just the nature of his cousin, it seemed like most Abhiyoga had such an innate.
The gods are still engrossed in persuading Tessa while Surya enjoys the comforts of Private Cafe. There are quite a lot of reading options provided here. Magazines, newspapers, novels, and so on.
Surya can also see some board games neatly arranged in a wooden cabinet. It can be accessed by all customers for free. If this cafe is near his office maybe he will also be a regular customer.
Surya sipped his coffee again and enjoyed the atmosphere. Satisfied with admiring the inside of the cafe, he stared outside. Without realizing it the rain had fallen. The perfect time to drink a cup of hot coffee, Surya thought to himself.
Suddenly he saw a silhouette behind the increasingly heavy rain. A lady. The longer you walk, the closer you get. He did not wear an umbrella or anything to block the rain from drenching his body. Only his hands were raised to the top protecting his head.
I don't know why the current scene feels so familiar to Surya. He felt like he was suffering from dejavu. The figure finally reached the front door of the cafe. He paused for a moment and tried to squeeze water on his wet clothes.
Surya suddenly glued. He recognized the woman.
Varsha. Teja's mother.
Varsha entered the cafe with a long sigh. His whole body was wet and his face was pale. Surya was originally about to greet Varsha but decided not to. He felt that Varsha might not want to be seen in this situation.
“Varsha!”
Tessa's voice suddenly sounded from behind the counter. He leaned over and picked up a white towel from the closet.
“Sorry God, the cafe is closed today. We discuss it again next time.”
Tessa then walked over to Varsha, her face looking worried. Then he put the towel on his best friend's shoulder. I don't know why Surya's heart feels so full of sight in front of him. If he could choose, it felt like he also wanted to stand next to Varsha and comfort her.
The god glanced at Surya and gave him the code. Because his cousin did not budge, the God finally nudged his body. Surya nodded in response and the two left the cafe.
***
Tessa takes Varsha to sit on one of the couches. Then go lock the cafe door and turn the board that originally read ‘Open’ into ‘Closed’. Coincidentally other than Surya and the Gods, there were no more customers in his cafe.
“Var? You why?”
Varsha's whole face and lips were pale. His eyes were a little teary but no tears came out. Or maybe it's been washed away by rain, Tessa isn't sure either. Her best friend's condition now somehow reminds Tessa when five years ago Varsha came out of her bathroom and said that she was pregnant.
“He's back, Test. The man has returned..”.
Tessa fell silent. He knew exactly who the man Varsha meant. His best friend must be talking about Teja's father.
“I don't think it'll be that easy to find it Test..”.
“S... K.. A...” Varsha Advanced emphasizes each letter.
…
...
His best friend coughed then chuckled before adding, “I even just need to type those three letters on the internet and the picture of him will appear.”
“My mysterious man five years ago.”.
…
...
Now a tear fell on Varsha's cheek.
“Surya Kingkin Abhiyoga.”
