The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun

The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun
XXII. Long Night

“Outside injury victim, 28 year old man, 150/90 blood pressure, 37 degree body temperature. Fall stage lighting pole.”

“The victim was in shock, a 5-year-old boy, blood pressure 90/60, body temperature 36 degrees.”

Two beds were pushed fast towards the emergency unit. Two patients lay on it. A row of anxious faces seemed to follow the two from behind, trying to keep up with the pace of the medics.

Varsha's eyes glazed over the condition of the two men before her. Teja just fell silent and did not speak at all. His face was pale and his eyes were unfocused. His small body also seemed to be shivering with coldness.

While the state of Surya…

“We will do a CT Scan on Mr. Surya and Anak Teja.” Said one of the doctors on duty. “We will decide the next action after checking the result.”

“Sorry Father and Mother, the family is expected to wait outside. We will inform you all when we know the result.”

A nun then led the Surya and Teja family to leave the room. The emergency department door was closed.

Varsha bit her lip. He could still see the remnants of blood on his hands and white dress. Once he realized what was happening on stage earlier, Varsha immediately shot towards Teja and Surya. After making sure Teja is okay, Varsha also checks Surya's condition.

He was so shocked as he felt Surya's wet back head drenched in blood. He tried to pat Surya on the shoulder to resuscitate him, but the man did not respond. The situation around Varsha is so tumultuous and bustling. But he could hear nothing. Guards stood barricading around him, while a line of reporters tried to take photos.

Tonight is the day of the launch of the DRF mobile game so it is natural that many journalists are deliberately invited to attend. However, who would have thought they would be direct eyewitnesses to the accident that occurred there. Get the latest ‘hot’ reports in addition to the latest game launch Akasa Game. Of course, everything is immediately vying to be the fastest news hunter.

Amidst the frenzy that was happening, suddenly Varsha felt that someone was pulling her hand. Trying to talk to him and release his grip on Surya, but he did not ignore. In a panic, Varsha pressed the emergency number on her phone. Then wait until the medics come to take Surya and Teja to the hospital.

“Family Kids Teja Ametarka?”

The voice instantly resuscitated Varsha's daydream. He and Tessa immediately headed toward the nun who called Teja's name. His heart was pounding hard, preparing to hear what had happened to his baby.

“I Mama Teja.” Varsha.

Then Varsha and Tessa are brought back into the emergency room. His son is now asleep with an infusion tube on his hand. A doctor walked over to Varsha.

“After seeing the results of the Teja CT Scan, everything looks fine.” The doctor in front of him. “Mother's child is in mild shock so we recommend resting here for a moment. After he wakes up, Teja is allowed to go home.” Clearly again.

Varsha felt as if someone had just lifted a huge stone from her chest. He and Tessa repeatedly thanked the doctor. Then Varsha stroked Teja's sleeping head slowly. He feels so grateful and relieved now.

“...We need to monitor again Mr. Surya.”.

Varsha's vegetables could hear the doctor's voice from behind the curtain. Shortly thereafter, he saw Surya's bed being moved out of the room. The man's head had been bandaged neatly while on his neck was attached a buffer.

Varsha's heart felt golden at the sight before her. Suddenly, his body moved slightly to the side. Then Tessa swiftly caught the body of her best friend. Then he led Varsha to a seat next to Teja's bed.

“You want to drink or eat something Var?” Ask Tessa slowly.

Varsha. He was neither hungry nor thirsty. In fact, he is worried about Surya's condition now. But he also did not want to leave his baby lying alone in this room.

“Then I go out for a while to take care of some things. Okay?” Tessa Said.

Varsha responds with a slow nod and Tessa disappears behind the curtain.

“Fracture on the skull was not severe enough to need surgery. But still, the condition of Mr. Surya needs to be monitored for at least the next two to three days.” Next later.

“Is there any other injuries, Doc?” Ask Gods.

“There were some minor bruises on Mr. Surya's body. We will provide anti-inflammatory and pain relief later.”

“Good, Doc. Thank you.” Saying Mother Tara.

Three members of the Abhiyoga Family were staring at Surya from behind the transparent glass. The man is currently lying in an intensive care unit as his condition is still not very stable. The doctor will monitor Surya's condition for the next few days and see his development later.

Santika's mother's hand was constantly rubbing her sister-in-law's back. Her face looked so anxious looking at the pale look of Mother Tara. Meanwhile, the God stood beside the two. Worry was also evident in both of his eyes.

Tara's mother clasped her sister-in-law's hand, “Kak Santika, I'd better wait for Surya here.”

“Tara, Brother is fine. Let Brother reverberate-“

“Now it's late at night. Santika sister should rest.” Cut Mother Tara. “Tomorrow morning, Brother can come here again with fresher conditions.”

“God, take your mama home.” Said Tara's mother again before Santika's mother could argue.

“Good, Aunt Tara.” Reply God. “Later I'll be back again after delivering mama home.”

Tara's mother nodded to the God. Then saw the couple mother and child finally went to walk away from the hospital. As soon as the two of them were no longer seen, Mother Tara let out a long sigh. He buried his face into his two hands, then sobbed softly.

As someone who held the highest position in the Akasa Group, Ms. Tara always seemed tough and calm. He can always control his emotions and never show his weakness in front of others. But this time he could not hold it. After all, it was his son who was lying weakly helpless there.

Why is there a disaster that has befallen the Abhiyoga Family? Surya and himself have not even recovered properly from the tragic shackles that befell his family a few years ago. But now, there is another disaster.

“Surya, the strong yes, son. Don't leave Mama alone here.” Ibu Tara whispered quietly from behind the glass wall.
