The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun

The Story of Clouds, Rain, and Sun
XI. Together (II)

Akasa Game team building schedule today is very solid. Starting from this morning, they were hiking together through the tea garden. Then rest for a while, treated to a warm snack. Then continued this afternoon with a match between the teams.

Teja, Varsha, and Surya stared at the clogs in front of them. Apparently yesterday there was a group-sharing draw. Since only they arrived late, the three ended up as one team.

“Om Solar in front, Mama in the middle, and Teja in the back?” Tanya Teja confirmed the strategy on Varsha and Surya.

“Sounds like it's the best.” Answer Surya.

The two men beside Varsha both put one hand on their chin and posed as if they were solving a difficult problem. Then they turned their heads in unison, staring at Varsha. The beautiful woman agreed.

Surya was the first to attach clogs to his feet. Then Varsha followed him but he had a little trouble.

“Mama, hold Om Surya to balance.”

“Ah, yes.”

Hesitating, Varsha finally held Surya's jacket at the waist. Soon, Teja joined them. As soon as the whistle was blown, the three of them instantly drove in unison forward.

The compactness of Surya, Varsha, and Teja was not bad. While shouting out common cues, they caught up with their opponents one by one. Even now the three were one of the fastest among the ten teams.

Just a few more steps to get to the finish line. But suddenly Teja loses her balance and falls pushing Varsha. And like a domino effect, Varsha also finally helped make Surya look forward.

In an instant the three fell piling on each other with Surya's body, which was thankfully athletic, being at the very bottom. Teja giggled amusedly, making Surya and Varsha also laugh. Unfortunately, that's why they are no longer champions of clogs.

“Next time.” Surya.

“Iya, Om Surya. Next time we'll take all the trophies.” Teja's response is no less competitive.

The compact team stood up while trying to clean the grass attached to their bodies. Surya, now feeling hot, decided to open his jacket. As usual, he bites the side of his collar while one more hand unzips.

“Whoa, the way Mr. Bos and Teja take off their jackets can be exactly the same.” Comment Ardi accidentally passed in front of them. “Pak Boss taught you Teja?”

Teja shook her head, “From the first Teja always opened the jacket in this way. Aren't you, Mama?”

Varsha who had originally froze for a moment, finally nodded in response to Teja. Not only appetite, even their habits are the same. Varsha also had no power to take a long breath.

At the same time, Surya feels very funny Teja also has the same style with him. He used to be made fun of by Gods and Earths because of the way he opened his excessive jacket. Cool they said. She missed Earth, her sister...

Suddenly a small hand held Surya's hand. He glanced to the side and Teja's sweet smile greeted him. Next to the boy was already Varsha looking at him with a worried expression?

“Ayo Om, we go to the next race.”

Surya smiled and nodded. The three of them walked together towards the next activity.

It doesn't feel like it's getting late afternoon. Teja, Varsha, and Surya's highly competitive teams managed to bag several top-three rankings. Satisfied, they finally returned to their respective rooms to take a bath.

At night there will be a bonfire. Each Akasa Game department was required to demonstrate their respective abilities. Any skill they can show. From singing to comedy sketches, everything is okay.

Varsha doesn't know what Teja is going to do but her little son says he's going to team up with Surya. His baby deliberately kept it a secret, reasoned that Varsha would enjoy the show more later.

After dinner, the entire Akasa Game troupe finally gathered around a large campfire that had been prepared. Varsha, Teja, and Surya sat next to each other, cross-legged on the grass. While eating grilled corn, the three watched the entertainment in front of them.

One by one the departments appeared until finally it was Surya and Teja's turn. Surya picked up his guitar on the side and walked together with Teja to the nearby campfire. Varsha quickly grabbed her phone, preparing to record the moment.

Shortly thereafter, Surya plucked his guitar. Churning out beautiful tones filled the silence of the night. The rhythm was very familiar to Varsha's ears. This song was her favorite song. But he never played it again for fear of remembering his memories with Surya five years ago…

“I don't know what else to say..” I said to Sun with a small laugh. “I think I told you everything..”.

Whether it's sleepy or comfortable being with the man next to me, everything feels so funny. Even looking at the starless sky made me smile.

“Hmm.. how about singing?”

Sun replied with a heavy voice, still lying down. He smiled and turned his body to face me. One hand rests the head as a cushion.

“Hm?”

“Sany for me Rain.” Said Sun again.

“I want to hear your singing..”

Sun's eyes seemed to sparkle at once melancholy as he said that sentence. I don't know why my heart is shaking and my face is heating up. I covered my lips, worried.

After a short pause, I finally decided to sing my favorite song. Blackbird by The Beatles. Actually, this song is my encouragement when I feel sad or lack of enthusiasm. So I thought this song would be a good fit to cheer up Sun.

♫ Blackbird singing in the dead of night ♫

Black birds sing in the silence of the night

♫ Take these broken wings and learn to fly ♫

♫ All your life ♫

Your whole life

♫ You were only waiting for this moment to arise ♫

You have been waiting for this moment to rise

...

“Very good Rain..” Said Sun slowly.

Plok, plok, plok!

The sound of clapping around her brought Varsha back to the bonfire. Apparently Surya and Teja had finished performing and were now walking towards where he was sitting. In his heart Varsha rebuked himself because he was not focused on the appearance of his little son.

But as soon as he saw his phone, Varsha felt a little relieved. At least he has recorded everything and can watch it later. Teja smiled at Varsha and hugged her.

“How was my appearance, Mama?”

“Good, Dear.” Praise Varsha while stroking her son's back.

“Om Surya taught me that song. As soon as Teja heard it the first time, Teja immediately thought Mama would definitely like.” His heart is clearly excited.

“Thank you, Mr. Surya.” Varsha said to the handsome man next to Teja.

“By pleasure, Mama Teja. I also thank Teja for collaborating with me.” Surya's response winked at Teja.

His little son then gave Surya a tos. Then the three again enjoyed the show and the bonfire in front of them until the night got late.

***

Varsha accompanied Teja on the bed until her little son fell asleep. Then he slowly walked out of the room towards the veranda. He sat there and grabbed his cell phone, ready to watch Teja's singing clips.

Varsha pressed the ‘play’ button and the familiar rhythm once again played in the silence of the night. The sound of her baby is so beautiful and adorable while the accompaniment of the guitar in the background is played with a beautiful and slick.

The expression on the face of his baby is so in line with the song he sings. Seeing that too, made Varsha smile. Appears sweet dimples on both cheeks.

What the beautiful woman did not realize, there was a handsome man who was also enjoying the beautiful scenery tonight. Feeling grateful he decided to take a walk around the villa complex, instead of sleeping. Suddenly the man grabbed his phone and typed something.

Good night, Mama Teja. Sorry to interrupt.

Will Teja and Mama Teja come home with me tomorrow?

Varsha's phone is shaking. The beautiful woman then looked silent, thinking for a moment. He wanted to reject Surya. But he was not happy to remember that the man would drive far away alone, if he and Teja did not come with him. Surya is Teja's boss after all, so they should make a good impression on him.

Varsha also appears to be typing a reply message on Surya.

Good night, Mr. Surya.

Tomorrow it looks like we will trouble Mr. Surya again by going home together.

Thank you for offering.

Surya gave a small smile reading the sentences on his phone screen. He felt like he was going to have a good dream tonight.

Raka, Solar Assistant: "Solar Sir said, I don't need to go, Mr. God. Mr. Surya himself will drive there."
