Varsha sat up straight. Both of his eyes were in disbelief. He had misheard. Maybe he was just hallucinating because of the effects of lack of sleep in recent days.
“Rain.. ”.
The man in front of him spoke the name more clearly. Both of his eyes looked slightly red. His one hand slowly came back closer to Varsha's face. Only a few inches left then the big palm will touch his cheek.
Unknowingly, Varsha immediately brushed Surya off and stood away. The man looked a little surprised but quickly regained control of his attitude.
“Sorry Rain,” soft speech.
Varsha's heart was beating fast. He did not know whether it was a reaction of deep longing or overflowing anger. Only one he believed in. That he doesn't want to face it now.
Seeing Varsha walking further away from him, Surya panicked. He stood up and walked over to the woman. Make the hose of the infusion stiffened until interested and detached from the back of his hand.
Instantly fresh blood seeps into the infusion plaster and flows falling to the floor. But Surya did not heed it at all. The focus is now only one.
“Rain..”.
Now the woman's eyes looked teary. One moment his face showed concern, but in the next second he looked unconcerned. Varsha took a breath and threw it away.
“Stop... calling..that name,” he said intermittently.
“Rain, please..”.
Upon hearing Surya still say the same name, Varsha turned her back and rushed towards the exit. He lost quickly to the man behind him. Suddenly Varsha felt a fierce pull on her hand which instantly carried her body pushed against the wall.
Before his head hit the wall, a large hand was already swiftly catching him. Making padded pads behind Varsha's head. Then Surya let go of his tight grip on Varsha and pressed his palm against the wall. She locked the beautiful woman with her body.
They were so close that they could hear each other's breath. Surya stared fixedly at the woman in front of him. His feelings are so mixed. Pleased, sad, relieved, dear…
“I miss you, Rain,” said Surya in a slightly hoarse voice. “I miss you so much,” her repeat once again as if to make sure that the woman in front of her has heard it well.
“Why haven't you contacted me this long?” ask Surya. “While I've left my contact..”.
“Why? Why Rain?” Now the tone the man used was more like a plea than a demand.
A bad memory plays on Varsha's mind. Suddenly Varsha gave a small snort until she almost smirked. One of his hands clenched hard until his fingernails pierced his palms. While his lips trembled trying to string together the words he wanted to say.
“True. You did leave your contact number,” Varsha began, while her head nodded.
“But you know what happened to the number stamped on that piece of paper?”
Varsha let out a long sigh before finally saying, “the last three numbers lost were swept away by raindrops.”
“Although I still try it. I kept trying to contact that number by entering every three-number combination. But you know what, Sun?” A single tear ran down Varsha's cheek.
Finally the mystery girl called out her special name again. Things he had always looked forward to for years. However, he never expected to hear it with such a sharp tone at the moment.
“None of them are connected to you.”
“No. One. Pun,” said Varsha emphasized every word.
Solar eyeballs vibrate. He did not expect to hear this response from Varsha. His handsome face that was originally pale from pain was now increasingly whitening. His lips and throat were drying.
“I... i... “
For the first time a Surya Abhiyoga was at a loss for words. It was as if someone had padlocked his vocal cords and then thrown his keys to the bottom of the endless abyss. But he is so desperate now. He has to do something, whatever it is. To keep Rain by his side.
“Can you give me a chance, Rain?”
“For this one time only,” please Surya. “All that is outside my power.. I will clarify-”.
“Acclocation?” cut off Varsha before the man finished his sentence.
Suddenly the woman laughed coldly. Surya could even feel his hair standing up. Varsha's gaze was so sharp that it pierced into his bone marrow.
“I've given you a thousand chances.”
“What...you mean?” whispered Surya weak.
“From numbers 000 to 999. A thousand combinations of numbers I press one by one until my fingers are numb and calluses. A thousand chances I've given you so we can spend the day together, so that we and Tej-”
Varsha suddenly stopped her sentence. Not willing to continue.
“If it's that hard to be with you. Maybe it is already the way we are destined to part.”
“I hope you can forget all the events of today and continue to live your life. Let's just say what happened just now is just a mere nightmare.”
Varsha was silent for a moment then looked deeply at the man in front of her.
“Goodbye, Sun.”
Surya felt like he was in a vacuum. Getting lost and floating adrift without being able to control which way he should head. The man could not even digest the entire sentence that Varsha had just uttered. Or rather, he chose not to understand.
A single tear slowly flowed down his face. His body suddenly felt weak. Surya finally rested his body on the wall. Then he slumped down until he sat on the floor.
“Goodbye, Sun.”
The short words kept ringing in his ears. It was like a melody and a slice that pierced his chest. Then tore his heart apart.
Instantly the sparkle and embers in his heart went out. It was like it was burned to ashes and blown by the wind. He jumped in and out. Tried to reach out and collect the ash powder, but in vain.
Simultaneously, Surya felt his body getting weaker and his vision blurred. Finally, he fell to the side and fainted.

The god looked at his cousin anxiously. He was so surprised to find Surya was lying helpless near the door of the room. Plus he saw a lot of blood on the floor. So of course Dewa immediately asked the officer to check the CCTV recording along the outdoor hallway VVIP.
But the least he thought was Tessa's best friend who came out of Surya's room. The young lady closed the door and walked quickly while wiping her tears. Then he disappeared behind the elevator.
I don't know what's going on between Surya and Varsha, but it's certainly not something ordinary. God knows his cousin has a special feeling for Tessa's best friend, but has it been so terrible that he has reached such a situation.
Only one woman that God knows can make Surya forget all his reasoning for the sake of being with him. A woman who always haunts her dreams. The mystery girl's cousin from memories five years ago.
Except…
Unless of course the mystery girl Surya is Varsha. If this is true, then everything will make sense. But why did it just now appear? When Surya is in his prime?
In addition, Surya has been looking for it for years but never found it. How likely is it that the girl banged herself into Surya after all these years? What really happened between the two.
Suddenly God grabbed his phone and contacted someone. While waiting for his phone to be picked up, he walked out of Surya's room. Once connected he immediately said slowly, “Varsha Ametarka. I want detailed report.”
