Chapter 40. Overtime

We may be eager to work, but we must not forget the time to rest, for work cannot govern us.

Today the weather was very sunny, I chose to walk to school, when I arrived at my school, headed to class to check for class absences.

Every morning I get a message from Thomi, which makes me more excited, to move, and add a smile to my face.

"Good morning dear, may it always be in the Lord's protection, do not forget to eat breakfast."Thomi told me in a message.

"Yes Thom, so are you."My reply to Thomi.

I arrived at the entrance of the school yard and I was greeted by Mr. Satpam,

"It looks like the students have finished apples together."I said in my heart.

"Good morning Mother."Said Mr. Sattam to me.

"Good morning, too, sir." I said to reply to her words.

I stepped into the classroom, to meet with the students, and to teach them a lesson.

"Good morning, kids."I said after entering the class, then walked towards the teacher's desk.

"Good morning Mother."Students answered me.

"Today all present?"ask the Students.

"Yes, Mom."Answer them in unison.

"In this class, who's the class president?"my many.

"I'm Mom."Answer one of the boys to me.

"Who's your name?" ask her.

"My name is Iwan Ma."Iwan answered me.

"Yes, please pay attention to the future, Children who do not know Mother?" ask me while walking around the Student's seat.

"My name is El's mother, so from now on it will be your homeroom teacher, for a while, waiting for your homeroom teacher to attend." I said to them.

The classroom atmosphere was so calm that only my voice was heard. Then I started today's lesson.

"Good Children, before we begin with our lessons, let us pray according to our respective beliefs."I told them to start a lesson.

"Pray is over, and each of you has your writing utensils on the table, today we will learn to write, after that read, then go home."I said to the students.

"Yes, Mom."Answer them.

I took out a marker from inside the bag then I wrote five sentences and asked the Students to write down what I wrote in their book.

"Mother's children will write five sentences and you will have to write them in your books."I said to the students, then, started writing.

After I finished writing on the blackboard I asked the students to write, and I checked out a book, which was used to teach by Class B.

as they were writing suddenly came the voice of a woman who came to me.

"Good morning Mother El, busy huh?"ask the principal's mother to me.

"Good morning, Mom, not Mom." I answered while standing up from my seat and walking towards the headmaster's mother.

"Let's see El's mother, after the students come home from school, El's mother, meet me at the office." The principal's mother told me.

"Yes, then, please continue with Mother El's lesson." The principal's mother told me.

When she finished, the headmaster spoke, left my class, and went back to her room.

The lesson hours were over, and before I went home I gave the kids extra work at home.

"Kids before you go home don't forget to write PR, tomorrow I give you a grade." I said to the kids.

The business in class was over, and I decided to meet the principal's mother in her room.

"Good day Mother." I said before entering the principal's room.

"Good day, oh El's mother come in." The principal's mother replied to me.

"The children have El's mother gone home?"ask the principal's mother to me.

"Yes, Mom."Answer's short.

"So this is Ms. El, I would like to ask Mother for help, if you don't mind Ms. El helping Mr. Jose, working together to make this report, because tomorrow will be taken to the office of the Education Office." The principal's mother told me, showing me a map.

"Yes, Mom, I don't mind." I answered without thinking.

"Thank God, thank you in advance El's mother, for helping." The principal's mother told me.

After I finished talking, the principal's mother and I walked towards the teacher's room, and the principal's mother said the same thing to Jose.

"Good afternoon Mr. Jo, you and Ms. El help Mother yes, because this report will be collected tomorrow to the office of the education office." The principal's mother told Jose, handing him a map.

"Yes, Mother." Jose replied, while receiving the map from the headmaster's mother's hand.

That afternoon Jose and I worked until the afternoon, because of this report, luckily today the principal's mother was kind, giving me and Jose the money to buy lunch, if not then Jose will go home, because he cannot resist hunger.

Meanwhile, Kak Alen was anxiously waiting for me at home, because it was late afternoon and my phone was not active he finally decided to look for me to school.

Upon his arrival at school, he met Mr. Edy who was sitting at work near the security guard post.

"Good afternoon, Mrs El, still working?"ask Mr. Alen to Mr. Edy.

"Iya Alen, she and Jose, just after they finished teaching the principal's mother asked them to make a report." Mr. Edy said to Mr. Alen.

"Oh yes sir, I don't think he's at school." Said Mr. Alen to Mr. Edy.

"No Alen, your sister is so kind and submissive, she's not going anywhere just working at school." Said Mr. Edy.

"Yes sir, I'm sorry to go home sir." Kak Alen said to Mr. Edy, then returned home.

"Yes." Yeah." Mr. Edy replied briefly.
