Chapters 12. Go home and go back to work

After I finished visiting Edi, and it was time for me to go back to the village.

"Edi, I'm saying yes, don't tell your mother if I come to see you." I said to Edi as I stepped towards the exit.

"Alright El, thank you for coming to look at me." Said Edi in a hoarse voice, while lying on the sofa to watch television

"Oh yeah, I'm gonna come back here to get all my stuff that's still here, because it's time for me to leave you, and there's no point in my stuff being here anymore." I said to Edi in a soft voice, standing near the exit

"Yes El, you're heart-felt on the road." Said Edi to me in a hoarse voice while lying down, Edi tried to look towards the direction where I was standing.

"I'm walking Edi." I said to Edi, then passed from Edi's house

When I came out of Edi's yard, there was a motorcycle taxi driver passing by, then stopped in front of me and offered services to take me, I accepted the offer, and didn't wait long, 5 Minutes passed and I arrived at the city terminal. After the ojek passed, I heard a voice calling my name.

"Hi El, El." Lita said while waving my hand to me

"Hey, Lita how are you? I was looking around for who called me it was you, yes" I said as I walked towards Lita and shook hands with Lita

"Let's sit down first while the story, it's not good if you tell a story while standing up later your calves harden loh hahaa.." Lita said to me as she asked me to sit at the stop to tell a story

"El, you're getting slimmer, different when you were in college." Lita said as she looked at me many times with a surprised face

"Yes Lita, this is how it is if more problems, thoughts and weight go down." I replied to Lita in a soft and nervous voice.

"What are your problems El?, who knows I can help you." Ask Lita with a serious face

"Don't come here, let's go to the food stall let's tell the story freely, here byak org." I answered Lita while taking Lita to a food stall near the terminal

After we arrived at the stall, I chose a table that was still empty for us to sit on.

"What do you want to eat Lit? let me order" I asked Lita while standing up

"I'm chicken noodles the same as lemon syrup." Lita answered me while reading the text message on her phone

"All right." I replied to Lita, then stepped towards the reservation place to order food.

After the meal, I went back to the table and met Lita who was sitting down, and we started telling stories.

"El, then what's your problem?" ask Lita with a serious face

"Look, I just broke up with Edi a week ago Lit, he's not loyal to me." I answered Lita with a sad face

"Oh. whereas your relationship has been long enough, El?" ask Lita back to me while looking at me

"Yes Lit, maybe we haven't matched Lit." I answered Lita with a smile

"Excuse me for the order, sister, please." said a maidservant to us, putting two bowls of chicken noodles and two cups of syrup

"Thank you Buk." Answer us in unison, then smile together

"Yes El, don't force it in the future won't be good." Said Lita to me while concocting her noodles to eat.

After we finished eating, we returned to the terminal, and prepared to return home with angkot from their respective villages.

"El, thank you, for buying me something." Said Lita while walking towards angkot destination of her village.

"Yes, let's see you." I replied to Lita and then walked towards the angkot from my village while waving my hand.

Once the passengers are all ready in the transport and the angkot departs from the terminal.

This song made me so late in grief that I fell asleep while covering my face with my jacket, so that no one would see me if I cried.

When I woke up, the angkot almost arrived at my village. A few minutes had passed and the car stopped right in front of my house, I got out of the car and stepped inside the house.

"Have you come home?" ask my dad who's watching TV in the family room.

"Yes, Dad. It's true that Edi was sick when I arrived at his house Edi was lying weakly on the sofa, and I accompanied him to tell me he also made him breakfast." I answered my father, then I continued my steps to the room, to rest.

"Father tomorrow I will return to Buru, I have checked the schedule of the ship." I shouted from inside the room while tidying up some of the items I will bring.

"Well, don't be long because your work in school should not be neglected." Dad answered me while watching TV.

That morning I prepared to leave for the city of Ambon and would continue my journey to the island of Buru.

"Where are you?" ask Edi to me via sms.

"I'm on my way to Ambon Edi, why?" I went back to Edi.

"Oh yeah, I miss you." Reply to me Edi.

"Just save your kangen flavor for your new boyfriend, not me!" I'm going to pay Edi.

Every time I hear a sad song, I cry remembering everything that is happening to me right now. But I'm trying hard.

"Daddy, ojek? Ask a father who offers motorcycle taxi services to me, while sitting on his motorcycle.

"Yes Sir. Please take me to the port." I said to the man who was going to ride his motorcycle.

"Ok, good Deck." The father replied to me in a soft voice.

This time I stopped by a pocket to buy a boat ticket, after paying for the taxi.

"Excuse me Buk, buy a ticket." I said to a Mother who was sitting in a ticket booth.

"Yes, how many people? and show me your ID" asked the mother and also asked me to show my ID.

"Okay Buk, this is KTP, also I give two pieces of money fractional one hundred thousand." I answered that mother.

After recording my Nik KTP later,

"This is your ticket and also your ID, thank you." The mother replied while handing over my ticket and ID.

I passed from the counter and walked towards the ship that would soon be numbered, after arriving in the ship, and,

"Hi Mother, would you like to go too?" ask one of the elementary students sitting on his bed.

"Yes Nisa." I answered briefly to Nisa, then continued to walk to find my bed number listed on the ticket.

It took me one night to arrive at Buru, I enjoyed my journey and forgot my sadness, that morning after getting off the ship I was picked up by Kak Alen.

"Sir, have you arrived?" ask Kak Alen to me via sms.

"Yes, he's in the waiting room." Reply to Brother Alen while sitting in the waiting room.

"I'm going to port now" Brother Alen replied to me.
