Chapters 13. Threats and harsh words

Our loved ones can hate and threaten us at will just because of another woman.

After I arrived at Kak Alen's house, and I continued my usual activities to the school where I worked. When I arrived at school,

" Good morning, Mother El" said several daughters to me who met me in front of the school fence.

" Good morning, kids." I said back to the children, then continued my steps towards the Teacher Room to check my absence (Teacher Honorer).

" Good morning, Father." I said to Mr. Edy who was sitting at his desk while checking some of the education reports of his students.

" Morning is also Brother, just arrived, Brother?" asked Mr. Edy to me in a soft voice, while reading the report of his students.

" Yes sir, just arrived and I'm coming to school." I answered Mr. Edy, signing my absence.

" Hey El, just arrived huh? said you went back to Ambon?" nining asked me with a smile and pulled up the bench to sit near me

" Yes Nining, I'm home and I'm back." I replied to Nining in a soft voice.

" When you meet a girlfriend?" nining asked me while chuckling.

" Not seeing Ning, but breaking up Ning's relationship." I replied to Nining in a soft voice, so as not to be heard by the others.

" Oh yeah, why El?" nining asked with a serious face while looking at me.

" He's not loyal to Ning, he's got a new girlfriend." I replied to Nining in a soft voice.

" Why can ya? Repot is like that El." Nining said to me with a serious face.

" Please don't discuss Ning anymore," I said to Nining in a soft voice while smiling as the Headmaster's Mother had already arrived in front of the entrance of the Teacher's Room.

" Good morning Mother-Mom." Said the principal's mother to all the teachers who were in the room.

" Morning is also Buk" I replied to the principal's mother as well as several other Teachers.

That afternoon the principal's mother told us to work at night.

" Mom El, Ms. Nining, and Mr. Jose for a little while we work the night, yes" said the principal's mother to the three of us who were sitting staring at the screen of our laptops each.

" Yes Buk" I replied to the principal's mother.

" Jo sir, later in the afternoon please pick up El, just come to the same school." Pinta's principal mother to Jose.

" Yes, Mom, ready." Answer Jose briefly.

We rushed home, because it was time to go home to school.

" El, come home with me come on, I happen to come home through your home complex." Jose said to me as he stepped towards his motorbike which was parked in the school yard just below the pete tree.

" Alright," I replied briefly as I walked to the front of the school gate.

Jose drove me home, it didn't take long three minutes then we arrived in front of the hallway of Kak Alen's home complex.

" Thank's yes Jo" I told Jose, after getting off his bike.

" Yes El, I'm on the road." Jose answered, then drove the bike quickly until it disappeared from my sight.

After I got home, my phone vibrated at the sign of a phone coming in, apparently a call from Edi.

" I'm lazy, he's gonna threaten me again." I said it in my heart, then answered the phone.

" Hello" I said to Edi.

" El, I need you to give me back my camera!" edi said in a rude voice.

" Wow, are you the same as me Ed?" I asked Edi to be confused.

" I'm asking you to return my camera, otherwise I'll report you to the police, let the police arrest you there!" edi replied to me in a rude voice also threatening.

" Report the police? please I'm not afraid! because I didn't steal, and we bought this camera together (with my money too)!" I answered Edi firmly.

" Which part of the police is willing to arrest me with this innocent and unmistakable face, just report please, I'm not afraid of the police, because I'm innocent!" I said back to Edi with emotion.

" Don't know yourself, you son of a bitch El!" edi replied to me in a harsh tone of voice also annoyed that I had dared to challenge him.

" If you knew yes.the camera I had pawned at the pawnshop, because I need money dear." I said to Edi while laughing at him.

" Fuck you El, don't play with me El!" edi replied firmly to me.

My phone shook again, Edi called me again, and Edi was getting angry.

" Look out for you, if you don't return the camera I'll see you later I'll report your parents to the police!" Edi threatened in a harsh voice.

" Basic men have no shame, no self-knowledge, no idea what you're saying?" I replied to Edi and made him angry.

" The camera's in the pawnshop, don't have much to say. If you want to take it you'll have to pay the ransom first." I said in a soft voice, and casually let her feel the emotion.

Then Edi ended his phone, it was late afternoon, I rushed to take a shower and got ready for school.

" tut tut's...El,... El, "Jose's in front of the house and he's honking his bike horn and calling me.

" Search who?" ask my mom who was out on the porch to find out who called me.

" Good night Auntie, I'm El's friend, and I came at the principal's order to pick him up." Jose said he was trying to explain it to my mother.

" At least Auntie call El first, she's getting ready." My mother replied, stepping into the house and meeting me in the room.

" El, there's a friend of yours in front of you waiting he told the headmaster to pick you up to school." Mother said slowly while looking at me.

" Yes Buk, it's over." I answered Mom while grabbing a small bag, then took a phone and charger and went out to meet Jose.

" Ordinary Buk, El memeng so the activity, if the work is not finished they will return to work at night." Said Kak Alen explaining to Mom while watching tv.

" Hey, sorry wait a long time, let's go" I told Jose, walking a few steps waiting for jose to turn the bike.

" The principal's mother called me and reminded me to pick you up at home." Jose told me later, we went to school.

Upon our arrival at school, it turned out that we were the second person to come after the principal's mother, five minutes later, Nining arrived then we started working, each with his responsibilities.

" El, this is the part you're gonna have to work on." Said Jo while putting a thick book with the fold mark of the first chapter.

" Ok, Jo." I answered with excitement and started typing.

The atmosphere in the Master Room was very calm just the sound of music from Jose's laptop, we worked with enthusiasm, after Mr. Edy arrived to add a crowd for you, because Mr. Edy likes to tell stories.

" Hey, seriously, you guys." Mr. Edy said to us who were seriously typing.

" Yes sir, let's get it over and go home soon." Jo said to Mr. Edy.

After I finished my task, I rested on the sofa while activating my phone.

He.tut.. My phone shook again, and Edi called me again.

" Why else?, still want to be mad at me?" I asked Edi in an annoyed voice, tired.

" El, I'm sorry, please give me my camera back." Said Edi in a quiet, hopeful voice.

" Edi, I know the camera is not mine, and I will definitely return it for you, why would you threaten my parents?!" I asked Edi angrily and annoyedly as he stepped out of the room.

" Yes El, I'm sorry that woman made me crazy." Edi said to me in a soft voice.

" Alright, I'm sorry you." I replied to Edi and then ended the call and went back into the room.

Our work was done and we went home, Jo kept driving me home because it was late at night and I was so scared.

Two weeks had passed, and we were always quarreling by phone, until that afternoon after coming home from school I arrived home, I got a call from Mr. Titin.

" Hello Deck, how are you." Ask Titin to me.

" Good Brother." I replied briefly.

" Ade, said Edi you've already pawned the camera?" ask Titin to me in a soft voice.

" No, brother, the camera is on me,. I lied to Edi because he threatened me every day." I said to Titin Brother in an annoyed voice.

" Ade, please yes it can be returned." Said Titin to me expectantly.

" Yes sister, anyways I know it's not mine I don't deserve!" I replied firmly to Titin.

" Thank you, Dek." Titin replied to me and then ended the phone call.
