Morning, but the sun has not yet appeared. An icy atmosphere, with a thick fog enveloping out there. The sound of chickens crowing, disdainful, became a sign they were in different places.
Unlike usual, Arshila who since pregnancy, lazy to wake up early. But, this morning, he had woken up earlier, with his body covered in a thick jacket.
He wants to walk in the morning, down the village. Although, something changed, but he still remembered this road in the countryside.
Arshila also wanted to, just stop by her parents' house, even though she was only able to look at him from a distance. There are many memories in that house. Memories he can't forget, all his life.
Warm milk and bread with strawberry jam, became his breakfast, this morning. Because, the breakfast schedule at the inn is still long, which is seven in the morning.
Arshila does not sit alone, Dave who slowly begins to change his nature, following every movement of the wife. He did not complain or protest. His face without a smile, now changed one hundred percent, even though there was only the wife.
Dave sipped a cup of hot coffee, to accompany Arshila to breakfast. He also wears a thick jacket. To follow him, morning walk.
"Recycle your milk! And for a minute, you just have to walk slowly. Remember, both your legs are still weak."
It is like most husbands, who always give advice and warning to his wife. He also began, doing the same to Arshila.
"All right."
Dave sipped his coffee again, finishing his plain bread.
"It's still dark and cold. Don't you wait for the sun to rise?" There was a feeling of worry, tucked into Dave's heart. However, he felt foreign, with the surrounding environment.
"I want to see the sunrise. It's been a long time, I haven't set foot in this place."
"alright. I'll keep you company."
The plates and glasses, the breakfast marks, were empty. Tian and the others, had also had breakfast, even if it was just a cup of coffee and some fresh bread.
Very cold air, making them use a thick jacket, to cover the neck. Mr. Yus followed the movements of the bodyguards, running small in the yard, to warm their bodies.
Arshila did not want to miss. He walked while moving his hands, like he was exercising lightly.
He was smiling, staring up at the sky, a glimmer of sunlight, starting to appear. The birds leave the nest to find food.
It's been so long, Arsya?
There were footsteps and laughter from the streets, and the sound of bicycles being paddled. The group of mothers, walking in tandem complete with baskets of woven bamboo. They laughed, not even talking about what.
Gentlemen, with hoes and machetes in their hands. Follow the steps of the tough women in front of them. Sometimes they respond by laughing. Simple, but heart touching.
We were like this, Arsya. My brother still remembers it. Waking up in the morning, we have to work picking vegetables, before going to school. But that's a happy thing for us.
My sister, where are you? I know, you're home. But where are you?
Arshila and the others, smiled back, mothers passing through them to head for the rice fields. He walked out of the courtyard, watching them.
Arshila's small steps, already on the highway. The guards, follow behind.
"Cold it." Letting cold air blow over his face.
Dave quietly watched his wife. Something came to his mind. Something that might make Arshila happy.
One or two steps, they walk. Eye view, not separated from the expanse of rice fields and green trees. The fog slowly thinned, as the sun still looked timid.
Snap, snap.
Dave pulled out the camera and started shooting Arshila. He wanted to capture the happy moment of the wife.
Arshila sculpts facing the expanse of rice fields. He waited for the sun to rise, which slowly appeared. Dave and Tian standby with cameras. Beautiful views cannot be missed. But, Tian's real reason was as proof to send to the president.
Dave hugged Arshila from behind. Follow watching the sunrise, which slowly begins to touch the skin. And this thing, caught on camera by Tian and Yus sir, who turned out to be in perpetuation.
"I want to go to my parents' house."
"I want it now. What can?"
"Of course, I can. But, pity Tian and Yus sir. They haven't had breakfast, neither have the guards." Dave purposely relented by using his subordinates as an excuse. He did not want his wife to walk for a kilo, which would make him exhausted.
"Ah, right. They must be starving."
"Yes. Wait, after breakfast."
Arshila nodded, with an eye that could not be separated from the beautiful scenery in front of her.
"You like her?"
"This is very beautiful, cool and cold. I used to, walk early in the morning to the rice fields."
"What are you doing?"
"Before going to school, I helped pick vegetables for sale. At that moment, the air was very cold. Sometimes I shiver when the wind blows."
Dave's stunned. A life struggle that he never imagined. He was raised with all the luxury. He just needs to learn, to get all his wants. Not expecting, if Arshila experienced just the opposite.
"Sorry." Dave tightened his embrace.
"It's not your fault. I live a life of deprivation, but I am happy. People in this place, very good to me."
The sun had risen, the fog had begun to disappear, leaving only the dew still clinging to the leaves.
"Can I ask. What happened to your sister?"
"I don't know. He disappeared when I came home. I've been helped by people looking for him, everywhere. But, never found it."
"I'll find it, for you."
"really?" Arshila. "Can you find him?"
"I'll try."
The people's lives are starting to show. Someone's sweeping the yard. There are also those who herd herds of cattle, towards the pasture.
"Sir, time for breakfast." Mr. Tus reminded, because time is almost here.
"We're in now. After that, we'll go to your parents' house."
Arshila nodded. His plan to walk, failed already. Because he was lulled by the natural scenery, which made him forget his destination this morning.
"Please, Sir."
They were greeted by a maid at the inn, who directed towards the dining room.
The dishes are on the table. The rustic menu is delicious. Fried rice, fried chicken, tempe tofu, egg balado, fish seasoning and others.
Arshila moved every side dish on her plate. Meanwhile, Dave only takes fried rice and fried chicken. Tian and Yus sir, as well as the bodyguards, did the same.
"No need to shower. The water is very cold. I'm leaving now" said Arshila.
Dave simply nodded in agreement, gulping down his white water.
Sit down for a while, they get back out to the car. The young lady who was already impatient, wanted to leave immediately.
A very short trip, considering the distance is only one kilo. Arshila was stunned, staring at the old house, she left behind. There was a little change, but he was able to recognize it instantly. In the house, there is a rambutan tree. Usually, in the yard of their house first, a lot of fruit trees.
On the side of the house, a luxury car is parked. Arshila turned her head, when the door of her house was opened by someone.
"Eilkino!!"
