The Revenge of the President

The Revenge of the President
Chapter 5 Request

At the police station...

Arshila sat down with tears in her eyes. In front of him, a policeman sat with a computer screen on a table.

"Sister, Arshila. We need a confession, Is it true that you have bumped into sister Clarissa Santara on the xx day xx date xx hour xx.xx?"

Arshila shook her head, sobbing.

"Please, you don't pretend anymore. There's been a witness who said you did it."

The policeman breathed.

"Sir, I don't understand what you're talking about. I didn't know Miss Clarissa, and on that day I was in the hospital."

Arshila replied with a cry that had not yet subsided.

"Why are you in the hospital?"

"I'm having contractions, sir. Please, trust me."

The policeman, nodded. Then, out left Arshila in a closed room.

"Sir, in front of the suspect's husband, wants to meet his wife and also the representative of Alehandra's family."

"I'll see him."

Dimas was made nervous, with the arrival of the Tian secretary. Even the gaze given to him, was like filled with suspicion.

"Sir, Dimas."

"Yes, Mr. secretary."

"Actually, I still doubt your mother's testimony. How're you? Do you have the same story?"

Gluey!

Dimas' heart, pounding, his palms were cold. His mother's words, ringed in memory.

"If you weren't your wife there, they'd probably kill you right away."

"Sir, secretary. Can you let go of my wife? She's pregnant."

Tian smiled obliquely, patting Dimas on the shoulder before leaving.

"Pak Dimas."

The police interrogating Arshila walked over.

"Sir, can I see my wife?"

"Please, I'll give you some time. But, before that, I want to ask, have you prepared a lawyer to accompany your wife?"

"No, Sir. I'll work on it tomorrow."

"All right, now come with me."

In a closed room, Arshila sat with her head on the table. Still heard, sobs her tears.

"Silk."

"Brazil, hiks ... Hicks ...."

Arshila got up, hugged her husband tightly, drowned her head on Dimas' shoulder.

"Mas, get me out of here. I'm really scared. I don't understand why they're arresting me."

"We sit down, first."

Dimas clutched his wife's hand, on the table.

"I'll find a lawyer to accompany you. Before that, please listen to me." Dimas took a breath, then resumed his sentence. "You tell them enough that you didn't do it on purpose. You're having contractions, on your way to the hospital."

"What do you mean?"Arshila knitted her brows. "Mas, I don't understand what you're talking about. Why would I say that?"

"Shila, help me just once. It's for the safety of our family. Mas, I'm sorry for asking you this."

Dimas pleaded with his wife's hand.

"Mas, please speak honestly. Why should I confess to something I did not do at all. What don't-don't .... " Arshila shut her mouth, along with her tears falling down.

"I'm sorry, I. I'm really sorry."

Arshila pulled out her hand, wiping away the tears that were soaking her face.

"Leave me, Mom."

"Mauro ..."

"Go, I said go!" he shouted with a loud voice.

Dimas finally walked away, looking back at his wife who was getting drowned in tears.

I'm sorry for being a coward.

After, Dimas' departure, it was Tian's turn to meet Arshila with three lawyers. Tian chose to stand by the door, staring at the woman's back.

"We represent the victims' families, to see you. We hope that you will cooperate, so that this case will be resolved quickly."

The three lawyers, looked at the secretary Tian who nodded his head.

"All right, we'll be back. If, you've been feeling better."

All three, get out. Secretary Tian, seemed to be staring at Arshila before stepping away.

In her solitude, Arshila wept profusely. Heartache and disappointment, mixed into one. He stroked his increasingly swollen stomach.

"What should you do, baby?"

Tomorrow, the next day,

Dimas returns to visit his wife, along with a lawyer.

"Miss Arshila, I suggest that you confess and tell me about your condition that has a sudden contraction" said lawyer Dimas.

Arshila was silent, throwing away her gaze.

"Sir, please leave us for a moment" Dimas said.

The lawyer nodded, then walked away. Dimas took his wife's hand.

"Dear, please forgive me. I had to do it for my mother, who already said that. Please, forgive me for being so weak."

Arshila was still mute, her tears falling back, hearing the reality she had to accept.

"The promise will wait for you to come out and take good care of our child."

Arshila raised her face.

"Why is that so great? I'm carrying your child. Why did you send me to prison? If you don't like me, why don't you divorce me? Does your life mean more?"

"Shila, I'm sorry. Sorry for not being able to choose you. All for our good. If I'm in jail, Mas can't get another job to support my family."

"Then, what about me? What about my life? Didn't you think about it?"

"Sorry."

Dimas bowed, the word 'sorry' would not seem to be able to ease the disappointment of the wife.

"I hate you! I hate you, Mas. I hate all of you."

Arshila shouted hysterically.

"Shila, calm yourself."

Dimas rose to hug his rebellious wife, refusing his embrace.

"I'm sorry, I. I'm really sorry."

"Hiks .. hiks .... Ihate you. I will not forgive you. Don't meet, I'm again."

"Shila, listen to me."

"Go ... Go ....," she cried again hysterically, even beating her husband's chest.

Dimas was forced to leave, after police removed him from the room. He walked over in a shunt, until he was unaware of the existence of Secretary Tian who was watching him.

Three lawyers, along with secretary Tian, returned to meet Arshila. As usual, Tian stood behind the woman.

"How are you doing?"

Arshila was just silent, twitching her head that felt dizzy. For two days, he did not sleep well, he just kept crying. In fact, until I forgot to eat.

"Miss, are you okay? You look pale."

The three lawyers, looked worried. The face of the woman, in front of them was so pale.

"I'm fine, sir."

Arshila was still twitching her head, getting dizzy, and her vision was spinning. A second later, his vision darkened.

BRUKK, BRUISED,

It was fortunate that secretary Tian caught his body, which almost fell on the floor.

"Call, officer."

"Good, Sir."

Doctors who work in police clinics, immediately do the handling.

"We should refer him to the hospital, his condition, critical."

"Good, get the ambulance ready."

Secretary Tian, stared at the ambulance that took Arshila to the nearest hospital. He took his cell phone to contact someone.

"He fell unconscious, now on his way to the hospital."

"I don't care. Make sure he gets a tough punishment."

"Good, Sir."
