The Revenge of the President

The Revenge of the President
Chapter 50. Feeling anxious

A family, which this year is always filled with harmony. The laughter only sounded in it. Two lovebirds who are always busy working, as much as possible to make time for their small family.

But, when life began to unfold, Nadia began to be hit by anxiety. Wonder, if Arshila's life befalls her, whether this family will treat her the same. Not only that, the attitude of Dimas' mother all this time to him was so good, making Nadia think, if it was a falsehood.

This afternoon, at the company. The Tian Sectary gave him a new task. Telling her husband and mother-in-law, if Arshila is in the president's house. She already knew about it, but told her husband, for what? The question, which Tian directly answered that second as well.

"Do as usual, without asking. Just watch them."

Only that sentence came out of Tian's mouth. Nadia was like an enemy in a blanket. She had to spy on her own husband, for no apparent reason.

"Say, like I told you. Remember, Nadia don't try to be a traitor because of your personal feelings. You know very well, the consequences that you will bear later."

Before leaving, Tian returned with a threat, which frightened Nadia and could only obey orders.

Nadia was already quite shaken by the fact of her ex-husband's life. The life of how Arshila, treated first. But that doesn't make her love less. Because actually, in this case Dimas' mother was the one at fault. But, now that he felt anxious, every Tian gave him a new order. The orders that make him feel guilty.

On the porch of the house, Nadia and Dimas' mother sit next to each other. Enjoy a cup of tea, on a slightly windy night. The two chatted as usual, like mother and son.

"Nad, don't you want to have children of your own?" mom put down her cup.

"I haven't thought about it, Mom. After all, Nadin is a kid and I'm still busy working."

"Mom knows, Son. But, it would be better, if you have your own biological children."

Nadia looked up, watching the stars shining up there. The problem of the child, he had not thought about it. After all, she had already considered Nadin her biological daughter.

"I'll think about it, Mom. If I'm pregnant, maybe I should quit my job. Mas Dimas now, has a post. He can support our family."

Mother flinched, her eyes widened in shock, it seemed like she had mispronounced. He reached for the cup again, sipping slowly. Then, put it back with the origin.

"Why stop, your career is good. There's a nanny who'll help you, Nadin's been over a year, I can take care of her."

"Not that, the thing is, ma'am. I can get pregnant and take time off. But right now, the mood of the president is deteriorating. He could ask me to resign."

"Huh? How can? What's wrong with him?" Mother's voice slightly raised, not accepting the unreasonable rules. The fate of employees depends on the mood of the president. What rule, is that? That's what his high tone means.

"Mom forgot. Ever since his fiancee died, the president changed. It's scary and it's cold."

"Tu .. fiancee? You mean, the one that got run over?" Mother's voice stammered, even swallowing her saliva.

"Yes, mom. The girl who was hit by Shila. But I wonder, why is he in the president's house?"

"Who's in the president's house?"

Nadia and mother turned, Dimas was already standing at the door.

"Mas." Nadia grabbed her husband's hand, asking to sit next to him. "Mak Shila, I saw him at the president's house."

Dimas's heart beat, becoming irregular. Like, there was an object that suddenly fell on him. He tried as calmly as possible, facing his wife who incidentally is the secretary of the president in the company.

"Shila, being at your boss' house?" Mom Dimas panicked and anxious, as seen from the look on her face that had changed. "Why is he there? What the hell is he doing?"

"Mother," cried Dimas in a low tone, but stared intently.

"Mother is just scared, she's wretched."

Dimas turned to Nadia, against her irregular heartbeat.

"Are you sure, it's Arshila? He couldn't have been there."

"I'm sure, Mas. She's Shila's mom. I don't know what he's doing in that house. I also did not dare to ask Tian. But, I heard the servants calling her miss."

Nadia took a sip of her tea, which was getting cold. Just act normal in peace. He just runs the command and sees their reaction, that's all.

"Miss?? What's that supposed?"

"Come, mom. I don't know for sure either."

Just to the extent that Tian said to him. So, Nadia could not say more than that. He also wondered why Arshila was in the house.

The tension gradually recovered, after Nadia entered the house first. He sleeps faster, because tomorrow there is an important meeting, which will keep him busy.

"Dimas, can you find out about Arshila? It would be dangerous if he stayed with your boss. He can open his mouth, and make you lose your job."

Dimas did not answer, he just took a breath. Lean on the chair while glaring.

"Dimas, didn't you hear me? Don't you wonder why that woman was there? She was called miss, there might be something."

"Mom, relax. Nadia can hear you. You know, Nadia's position in the company."

"Hey, what are you talking about, son. She's your wife, where it's possible to talk about our family. After all, he doesn't know anything."

"Already, mom. Let Dimas find out tomorrow."

The air outside was getting colder, but Dimas was still sitting alone. The shadow of Arshila again made her life feel unsettled. This year, he had forgotten about the woman.

The same thing happened to the mother in the room. Mother feels restless, to repeatedly change the position of sleep. Unsettled, he decided to wake up. Walking back and forth, thinking.

What am I supposed to do? Why is that woman still alive? What if he opens his mouth? Ah, naw. Can't! My son is happy now, I can't let him be broken.

Mom squeezed her hand, sat on the bed, still with the same thought. Who's gonna help me? Mumbled with heavy breath. He lay down again, staring at the ceiling of the room, looking far away, back in time.

Aye! That woman!

Mother rose from her position, smiling as a solution to the problem flashed through her head. The shadow of the figure of the woman who slapped and grabbed Arshila's hair, during the trial. A middle-aged woman who kept crying, did not even accept the judge's decision.

"I have to see her, she can get that woman out of her daughter-in-law's house."

Mom exited the room, looked left right, before moving. He knocked on the door of his daughter, who was across from his room.

"What's up, ma'am?" Mira opened the door lazily. Apparently, he's asleep.

"Where's your sister?"

"Come, mom. Naya hasn't come home yet, she said again doing chores."

"So long?"

"Udahlah, ma'am. He's not a kid, he's going home alone."

Mira walked to the bed, lazily lying down again.

"Mira, wake!"

"What the hell, ma'am? It's late, Mira's sleepy."

"Mom wants help, get up!"

Mira finally woke up, although both her eyes felt very heavy.

"Help mom find her family's address or her company's address."

"Mother, ask Nadia. He used to work there or ask Dimas, he'll know."

"Huss, make noise. Don't talk too much, just do it."

Mira took her bag, looking for something inside.

"It." Give a business card. "It belongs to my friend, we're planning an internship there."

"Well, I'll give it back, later."

Mom immediately exited the room, then closed the door slowly.

"Mother" called Dimas who had just entered the house.

"Dimas, call your sister. Naya hasn't come home yet, it's late."

"All right."

The night was getting late, when everyone was asleep, the mother was still busy in the room. Mother prepared the clothes she would use tomorrow, while thinking about the script she would deliver tomorrow.
