The Revenge of the President

The Revenge of the President
Chapter 1 Loss

In a hospital...

A man in a luxurious suit, staring at his fiancee who was already deathly pale, lifeless. He clenched his hands tightly, with a reddened face, he stared intently at the people around him.

“I pay you guys a big salary, but can't save her.”

Everything is stooped.

“Useless!” screaming, again.

Dave rubbed Clarissa's head, holding back the tears that were caving the river.

“Say.” Questions were directed at the line of doctors lined up behind him.

“We have tried as much as possible to save the young lady. But, due to being delivered late to the hospital, young Miss bled out coupled with bleeding due to miscarriage.”

Deg.

“Ap ... what? A miscarriage? What doctor mean?”

Dave turned his face.

“Young lady is pregnant, Mr.” The doctor looked down, afraid to look at the man who might kill him.

Dave's body wavers, his eyes turning. The tears she tried to hold were spilled as well. A hand held his shoulder, pointing towards the chair. Falling down, weakly. Dave buried his face in both of his palms.

Sobbing,

All were silent, only the sound of heart-wrenching cries could be heard.

Dave got up with a flushed face, tears clearly visible on both cheeks. He knelt before Clarissa's body.

Back sobbing.

“I'm sorry. Ii'm sorry. Supposedly, I didn't force you to come.”

Dave looked down, his tears falling down his knees.

That time,

“Dave, like, I can't come to your relationship banquet? Rain is very heavy, I'm afraid to bring a vehicle.” Clarissa contacted Dave by phone.

“Where is your driver?”

“Today, I brought my own vehicle in the company. Can you go by yourself?”

“Which may be like that, dear. I'll introduce you to them. Next month is our wedding. You drive slowly, I will wait for you.”

“But, I feel scared, Dave. Anyway, I'm currently on ..” chuckles. “Lain times only, I'll tell you.”

“You're laughing baby?” Waiting for an answer, then saying. “Alright, I still have a job. I close first.”

“Tuan.” Dave did not answer. “Lady.” Secretary Tian called back, but there was no answer. Then go back to continuing the sentence. “Old young Miss, is here.”

Dave still remained silent, drowning in grief and guilt. At the moment he felt defeated, completely defeated by a destiny he could not fight against.

“My daughter, hiks ... hiks ...”

Clarissa's mother hugged her daughter's body, sobbing hysterically again filled the room, after which Dave fell silent.

“Build, darling. Here's Mama, wake up, Mama please, open your eyes.”

Clarisa's mother grew hysterical, shaking her daughter's body, forcing her to wake up from her long sleep.

“Ma, patience. Papa please, calm yourself.”

“No, Mama is not willing. Wake up baby, wake up.”

Still in her tears, Clarissa's mother fell, unconscious. Bagas immediately lifted his wife's body, heading for the treatment room .

Meanwhile, Dave was still kneeling and bowing, no more crying sounds, but his tears were still falling. Hit her chest repeatedly, as she felt tight from harboring her sadness.

“Dave.”

Rachel looked at her kneeling son staring at Clarissa's corpse. Then hugging, Liam her husband who was also hit with the departure of his daughter-in-law.

“Wake up, Nak.”

Liam smothered his son's frail body, gesturing to Tian's secretary Dave to take his son away.

“Clean your mind. Papa will take care of it here.”

Dave was silent, his mind blank. He stepped along with Tian who wiped him.

The next day, the,

Plays of flowers of condolence, seen filling the cemetery, looks of sadness on the people

mourners. Some only shed tears, some cry hysterically because they feel lost. Not to forget the reporters from various TV stations, to cover the moment of the Alehandra Family and Bagas Santara, who were in mourning. Two families who are successful entrepreneurs in this country.

Dave blankly stared at Clarissa's coffin, which had begun to be lowered slowly into the grave. No tears or sobs. He just stared, somehow feeling it now, he just kept quiet.

Unlike Clarissa's mother, who lost her only daughter. The woman fell many times, unconscious.

“Daughter, hiks...”.

Bagas the husband was only able to hug his wife's body, he himself was not able to look at his daughter's coffin which began to be buried in the ground.

Clarissa's mother screamed again hysterically, until she fell unconscious in her husband's arms.

Now it's time to plant flowers,

Dave grabbed a flower, then sprinkled it over the tomb.

Rest, baby. Our son is with you, I'm going to find the perpetrator who took you from me!

After the funeral was over, the mourners began to leave. With the exception of Dave and his secretary Tian.

“You've investigated it?”

“Already, Sir. But, have not got anything.”

Dave stared straight at me.

“Say.”

“There was no CCTV at the scene and no witnesses, because it was raining. There's a store, across the street but it's been closed for a long time.”

Dave took a breath, re-sowing flowers for the umpteenth time.

“I'll give you time until tomorrow, find him before the police find him.”

“Good, Mr.”

Patience, darling. I'll bring him to his knees in front of you.

Starting at dusk, Dave was still sitting next to Clarissa's grave with Tian. She has not been able to leave Clarissa and the baby.

I love you and no one will replace you. I promise!

One day had passed, Tian had not gained anything yet, as well as the police.

“You haven't found it?”

“Not yet, Sir."

Dave nodded, though,

“Create a contest to find a witness, reward 1 billion.”

“But, what if they lie, Mr.”

Dave grinning. “That's what I expected.”

Tian scrunched his forehead, not understanding but still carrying it out.

Finally, Tian invited reporters from various TV stations, to hold a press conference.

“I represent, President Dave Alehandara to deliver about sayembara.”

The flash of camera light was flickering, the sound of typing on the keybord board was heard, when Tian had just spoken.

“We Alehandara family, held a competition to find witnesses to the accident that befell Miss Clarissa Santara. For anyone who saw the incident, please come straight to see me. Alehandara's family will give a gift of one billion rupiah. Thank you.”

Tian ended his sentence, then left the reporters.

The news of the competition was immediately a major topic in various TV stations, social media and newspapers. The news was also a warm conversation in the company PT. DEVAL Power's.

Dimas still works in front of the computer screen. Ignoring the friend next to her, who was watching on her phone.

“What are you watching, seriously?” Dimas was still staring at the monitor.

“Press conference secretary Tian.”

“About what?”

“You don't know?” The next friend asked again.

“Indeed, what is it?”

“President's betrothed, passed away. Due to hit-and-run.”

Deg. Dimas snapped his fingers over the keybord.

“He was hit? When?” Dimas.

“Two days ago, when it was raining heavily. Moreover, the president's fiancee is pregnant and will be married next month. I can imagine, how he would make calculations with that bastard.”

Dimas struggled to swallow his saliva, he glanced at his friend who was still staring at the phone screen.

“Really? I don't know, if the President is engaged.”

“How can you know, if it keeps working?” his friend grabbed a chair, revealing his phone screen to Dimas. “Look, she is very beautiful.”

Dimas' eyes widened, his face turning deathly pale. He squeezed both his hands under the table.

“I go to the toilet for a while.”

Dimas washed his face many times, then looked at the reflection of his face.

“So, the girl is Miss Clarissa?”
