The Revenge of the President

The Revenge of the President
Chapter 20 Grace's Observation

At the hospital, Arshila feels bad about Grace's presence. The woman who was older than him, treated her like a big miss.

"Mrs, please sit down. You must be tired."

"Miss don't call me that. I'm not a mistress, I'm a waitress for you."

"I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem like you need to. I'm really uncomfortable, I'm just a regular person and don't deserve service."

"Don't go low, Miss. If you're not comfortable, just call Grace's manager."

Arshila could not say anymore, the woman did not budge, even though her mouth was already foaming saying this reason it was.

"Manager Grace, can I ask you about Dave?"

"Please, Miss."

"Me and Dave have nothing to do, other than friends. We've only met a few times and actually I don't know anything other than his name."

"Why didn't Miss ask him? The young master will definitely answer. And in my opinion, young master does not consider you as a friend."

"You mean?"

"Miss, there is no man who treats women with distinction, if only a friend. Didn't you notice it?"

Arshila thought, looking at Grace with a feeling of indecision. He does feel Dave's attitude is too excessive and unnatural for someone who considers him a friend.

"I don't want to have a relationship like that."

Grace stared intensely at Arshila, figuring it out through the look in her eyes. His job today, it's not easy. He had to convince the woman in front of him, that Dave was a good man and would accept it. He also had to figure out how Arshila's true form was.

"Why, Miss?"

"I don't deserve it." Arshila. "He's too good and perfect for me."

"Miss, deservedly or not, decisive young master. After all, to get happiness, we don't need the opinions of others."

"You're wrong, manager. Can I be happy if people talk about my ugliness. Are you happy, if they open disgrace and laugh at it. No, manager, sometimes the opinions of people out there make a relationship tenuous."

This woman was not what the young master had said.

Grace gave him the cut fruit on the plate.

"Miss, don't you have the feeling of young master?"

If about feelings, Arshila is also confused as to what to answer. He has no feelings for Dave, but somehow his heart just beats out when the man is with him.

She is not the first girl to fall in love. He knew what it was, but refused to admit it. He continued to resist, against his mind and heart. Lean on the realities of life that remind her of her status.

"No, I don't have that feeling" Arshila said but didn't want to look Grace in the eye.

"Actually, the young master had never been in a relationship with anyone. He was too busy working and did not have time to think about a woman. Today he asked to accompany you, making me a little curious."

Arshila was stunned, she was still digesting Grace's speech.

Drt ... Drt ...

"Hallo, aunt."

"You okay? Yuri said you're permission today because you're sick."

"I'm fine, aunt. I just had a fever and now I'm in the hospital."

"really? Do I need to ask your aunt to accompany you?"

"No need, aunt. I'm going home tomorrow."

"Thank God, then. I'm so freaked out, 'cause you're alone."

"Thank you, aunt."

The connection was cut off, Arshila sighed then put down her phone.

"Why isn't Miss being honest?"

"I can't, he's been too good to me. Too much debt, makes me feel uncomfortable."

Their conversation continued, talking about something light. Not felt, lunch time has arrived.

Dave entered the room, without knocking on the door.

Grace who saw that, said retreat. Meanwhile, Arshila just gawks at Dave, who always kisses her without hesitation. In fact, already pinned the word dear, at the end of his sentence.

"Have you eaten?" I asked back because I had not yet received an answer.

"No, sister just brought me lunch." Arshila did not dare to look at Dave right now.

Dave approached sitting near Arshila, whose gaze was somehow fixed on what. He touched the woman's face, pulling slowly for their gazes to meet.

"Are you not happy to see me?"

Deg, deg.

Arshila's heartbeat quickened, the handsome face locked onto the look in her eyes.

"Bu .. not that, I just ... just ...."

The cup!

"I miss you."

Deg, deg, indescribable, Arshila's current feelings. His heart was like it was about to jump out.

Such a gentle word, as well as the way he treated Arshila, made the woman, eventually lose control.

He hugged Dave tightly, his face on his shoulder. She shed tears, when she fell there was someone who still cared and treated her well.

The man returned his embrace, pecking his cheek while stroking his back.

"I love you" whispered Dave.

Arshila still hasn't lifted her face, Dave's words make her confused what to answer. All this, too soon, they've only met a few times. Is it true, there is love at first sight?

"Dave, I ..."

Arshila let go of a hug, venturing into Dave's eyes.

"You don't have to answer. I just want you to know how I feel. We can get to know each other, and we still have plenty of time."

Dave rubbed the tears of arshila, smiling warmly.

"Now, we're having lunch."

Arshila nodded.

Elsewhere, Grace enjoyed lunch with Tian.

"Is there anything interesting?" Tian gulped down the water, watching Grace.

"Do you trust my judgment?"

Tian put down his glass, linking his two fingers.

"I'll listen to him first."

"He's different than I heard. In fact, I came to think that you guys seemed to be misjudging. He's always down-to-earth and insecure, whether he's pretending or not, but I think he's pretty honest."

"Wouldn't every woman always be humble at first. Feel sorry for getting attention."

"You're right, there are some women doing such tricks. But, I'm pretty sure of my observation."

"All right, we'll see. Do your job well. She should be a mistress in the near future."

"I understand. But, why make her a mistress if you just want revenge."

"Grace, there's nothing more painful than getting disappointed from the people we care about."

"I knew. But, don't you think, if one day, this backfires on Dave."

"No, I know the taste of young master. Only Ms. Clarissa can get his attention."

Tian continued his lunch.

"Tian, for today you can think like now. But, you don't know for sure, what's going to happen with two people who are under one roof. Revenge can turn into compassion and compassion can change feelings. I suggest you don't play with fire."

Tian digested Grace's words, there's truth in them. A feeling, it can arise over time.
