Like an alarm that has been set before bed. Azzam woke up at exactly two in the morning. At times like this people are still sleeping in their sleep. But not with Azzam his eyes always awake in the third of the night to pay prayers to the khalik.
Azzam opened the blanket that covered his body. Suddenly Azzam's heart raced faster. Something was going on in his stomach. Dhanisa's hand. Azzam was shocked and held his breath. He then looked towards the woman next to him. He was still asleep, his eyes closed. Azzam slightly raised his head closer to his wife's face.
“Nisa, let's go ..” Sentence ceased.
Actually Azzam wanted to wake his wife to join the night prayer with him but he did not have the heart to wake Dhanisa who was still asleep. Azzam believes his wife's body must still be tired due to the incident last night. Azzam pulled the blanket deeply into his wife's body, then carefully he put away Dhanisa's hand that landed on his chest. He squirms slightly changing his sleeping position and turns his back on Azzam. Make Azzam smile himself.
Not wanting to waste his time, Azzam got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom to clean himself then went to take ablution to purify himself. After finishing he immediately put on a sarong and attached a skullcap on his head that was still slightly wet due to ablution water. Azzam faced the qibla and held a prayer, then began his prayer. Many people say that prayers in the third night or midnight prayers will be quickly granted by God. Moreover a Muslim does it to gain haqiqi composure.
Allah subhanallah wa ta’ala which has been described in the Qur’an in many verses and also Rasulullah shallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam in many hadiths about the amount of reward obtained from performing night prayers.
As the word of Allah subhanallah wa ta’ala contained in the Qur’an surah Al-Israa’ verse 79 which means: “You will use some time that night to pray tahajjud, as a sunnah prayer for yourself, hopefully God will raise you up in a good position.” [Al-Israa’ [17]:79].
In addition, in other Surahs it is also mentioned.
“And be patient in waiting for the ordinance of your Lord, and verily you are in our sight and celebrate by praising your Lord when you rise up, and glorify unto Him at some time in the night and at sunset the stars (within the dawn).” [Ath-Thuur [52]: 48-49].
“And call upon the name of your Lord (time) morning and evening. And in part of the night, prostrate unto Him in the long part of the night.” [Al-Insaan [76]: 25-26].
“And celebrate you to him at night and every time you finish praying.” [Sorry [50] :40].
Allah subhanallah wa ta’ala praises of His devout servants who always perform the night prayer and worship, as Allah subhanallah wa ta’ala in Surah Adz-Dzaariyaat [51]: 17-18.
They slept very little at night; and at the end of the night they begged for forgiveness (to Allah). [Adz-Village/51: 17-18].
Azzam's chest rumbled, there seemed to be fatigue on his shoulders. He is just like any other weak human being. Man can only surrender and offer his best prayers to the Almighty.
Alhamdulilbornabbil alamin.
Azzam stopped his prayers and continued with his prayers.
“Yes Allah, allow the servant to have something that may not be recorded in the destiny of the servant. But I am aware that what is the desire of the servant is not in Lauh al mahfuz then the servant must be ready to bear everything that the servant must accept his humiliation. Does God complex a feeling called love? Or are we humans who just make it seem complicated? So many things I do not understand, O Allah. Then I can only ask for your guidance. Servants know that love for their fellow men must be in proportion and not exceed our love, mankind to You, Lord. Servant just wants to love you and be the servant you also love.”
“Make a good husband's servant to the servant's family, help the servant to guard and guide the servant's wife to your obedience. Make the wife and children of the servant as a source of happiness in the life of the servant. The servant is very calm when he sees it, calm when he looks at it and grateful because the servant has it as part of half of the servant's life. May you always bless our household so that together it makes it easier for us to achieve Your life and Heaven, O God. Ammiin,” Azzam prayer at the end of his prayer.
Finished praying. Azzam continued to take the Qur’an, then opened the Qur’an which is the most perfect book of Muslims because it was revealed to the last prophet, Prophet Muhammad. So beautiful is the chant of his reading when reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, with full of reverence and appreciation.
“Do not. No. gabe. Untie Me. I don't want to. No. gabe. No.”
Azzam stopped the chanting of the sacred verse he read when he heard a screaming voice from behind. He saw Dhanisa still closing her eyes. Azzam believes Dhanisa is delirious because of nightmares.
Shadaqallahuladzim ...
Azzam then closed the Qur’an in front of him and rose closer to his wife who was still closing her eyes. It looks like sweat is flooding his body. Dhanisa's face was like holding back fear. His breath seemed to be unable to breathe anymore.
“NO!!”
Nisa kept shouting.
Azzam patted Dhanisa's cheek gently.
“Nisa.., Dhanisa. Build.” Azzam tried to revive his wife.
Dhanisa's eyes immediately widened with both of her irises appearing reddened. His eyes rolled around looking around. The dim atmosphere of the room made Dhanisa feel she was still on the scene last night. He continued to scream and rebel. Azzam tried to calm him down.
“Do not. I don't want to. Don't You Sick Me. Unleashed... Untie Me. Father ... Mother please Nisa.”
Azzam clutched his wife's body tightly. “Quiet, Nisa! Calm yourself!”
Dhanisa's eyeballs were still wildly staring in all directions, she was like a daze.
Azzam's hands cupped Dhanisa's cheeks. “Nisa, Nisa look Brother! It's Brother! Nisa calm down,” said Azzam trying to calm down.
Dhanisa's eyeballs intensely looked into the eyes of the man in front of her. His hands groped Azzam's face.
“This is true Brother right?” dhanisa asked timidly.
“Iya, this is Brother,” reply Azzam iba. “Now Nisa is calm and take a deep breath.”
Dhanisa followed what Azzam had commanded. “Before you get a drink first.”
Dhanisa drew Azzam's hand as he was about to move from his seat, making Azzam stop and sit back.
“Abang Azzam, don't stay in Nisa alone.” Hugging Dhanisa as Azzam sat beside her, he buried his face in Azzam's chest.
“Nisa don't be afraid, nothing will happen with Nisa." Azzam spoke while tightly hugging Dhanisa's body. The woman looked up at Azzam's face.
“Now rest.” Azzam started loosening his cage.
Azzam straightened Dhanisa's legs again, while the woman's head was still immersed in Azzam's chest. One of his hands pulled a blanket to cover his wife's body, and the other hand held Dhanisa's head. He let the woman keep looking at him.
“Why baby?” unconsciously Azzam said that sentence when he saw Dhanisa continue to look at him.
Azzam put away the haircut that covered Dhanisa's forehead to the back of the ear gently. Azzam saw Dhanisa smiling, a soothing and shady smile, unconscious Azzam smiling as well.
“Sleep,” Azzam said calmly.
Azzam rubbed Dhanisa's cheek gently. Things are starting to calm again. Only breaths came out of their mouths.
Suddenly the sleepiness attacked. Both of his eyes closed slowly. Dhanisa followed instinct, letting both her eyes shut and her breathing regular a moment later.
Azzam was still faithfully sitting beside her. Look at the woman intensely. Azzam did not mind letting Nisa sleep in his arms. Slowly he also laid his body holding Dhanisa's hand. Before long they both fell asleep to dreamland.
A few hours later ...
The voice of teaching in the mosque is understated. Signs of dawn Adhan will soon reverberate. Cold weather is still so felt outside, after the rain flushed some areas.
At 5 Azzam woke up again. Azzam's hands cramped because long overstressed by Dhanisa's head, he put his hands away slowly, then massaged them for a while. Azzam looked to the side again. His wife is still asleep.
“Nisa.” Azzam's whisper was gently coupled with shaking Dhanisa's body slowly.
“Hm” dehem Nisa is short, after which she tightens back her embrace.
Azzam shook his head with a bright smile, he held Dhanisa's hand trying to let go. “Nisa, wake up. Brother wants to pray.”
Dhanisa was still sleeping on her side and wrapped in a thick blanket. He began to open his eyes. His eyelids will open up too. The brown-eyed woman woke up and sat down. His mouth was open and his eyes were wide. Damnit damnit! What he is seeing right now. Azzam's face was so close that he looked at her. Dhanisa was really hard to swallow her saliva. Even more surprised when he saw his hands hugging the body of a man nearby. Dhanisa had never slept with him this close. His eyeballs turned around circulating a glance around. His hands are still attached to Azzam's body.
“This is in the room,” his murmur is soft. His eyes looked back at what he was doing.
“Aaaaaakkkkkhhhh...” screeches Dhanisa instantly, unable to accept about what she saw.
Azzam grimaced and closed his ears tightly.
Dhanisa immediately sat curled up and wrapped her body in a blanket.
Azzam pulled out his hair. Then take a slow breath and exhale it again.
“Have he cried?”
“Abang did kayak earlier. Do we do it?” Dhanisa commented another.
Azzam pulled the corner of his lips until he formed a smile.
“Kan Nisa asked,” said Azzam. He smiled at jail.
“Hah?!” He's melotat. After that his body did not react anymore. Dhanisa was silent. He's still in shock.
“Come morning prayers,” invite Azzam.
Nisa bit her lower lip hard until her lips turned red. Azzam had already passed into the bathroom.
He took a deep breath, more like complaining. “Yeah why can it!? Stupid!” Nisa pulled her hair tight.
Azzam came out, then continued to spread the prayer mat for the two of them. He's tailing towards Nisa. In his heart he laughed when he found the look of his wife's face was still panicking and paled. He was so afraid that if I did, Azzam picked up and shook his head.
“When do you sit there? Come quickly get some water. As long as Nisa is silent as long as we start praying,” Azzam voice said.
Nisa just clucked. His feet suddenly drowned when he stepped on the floor.
***
Azzam out of the room turn off one by one the lights that are still on in each room. He opened the window curtain. Sunlight directly penetrated in without permission through the clear glass. He opened the door and the cold air immediately touched his body. After that, he walked back to the kitchen. The dining table is clean. There is no food available.
Azzam opened the refrigerator, then grabbed the full cream milk perched on the refrigerator door leaf. He poured it into two glasses that he had prepared. After making the drink finished, he went on to make fried rice and eggs as breakfast menu this morning. Only such a simple menu can be made for this short morning.
It didn't take long, two dishes of fried rice and two glasses of milk were already on the dining table.
On the other hand, in the main room. I was looking for something. This room is like a broken ship. Look, books are strewn on the floor, sperei and messy mattresses and makeup tools that have been splashing on bedside nightstands. The closet has me tinkering and I dismantled but still have not found the item I was looking for.
“Abang!” my peek.
Hearing Nisa's cry, the man who had just finished his cooking went straight into their room. When the door was first opened, Azzam was shocked.
“Asragfirullah Nisa, why is it such a mess?” Azzam could only recite dhikr in his heart, trying to be patient. ‘Sabar Azzam you are being tested, your wife is here to test your patience’ Azzam satin while taking a patient breath.
Nisa smiled briefly.
“Abang Nisa did not meet socks, where about? Nisa's feeling kept in the closet deh.” My grunts while still unpacking some clothes in the closet but have not found them yet.
“Nisa really want to go to school today?”
“It. Didn't see Nisa's wearing a gini school uniform, it's going anywhere else. To the beach!?” I'm clucking.
“Abang dibilkan do not enter school first,” denied Azzam.
I approached the man who was still standing in the doorway.
“Abang, Nisa please allow Nisa to enter school today. You know, Nisa didn't pick up the guy. Where can Nisa keep quiet at home. Chabby. Bored. It's good to meet with friends outside, if Nisa outside can breathe oxygen as much as possible,” said I in one breath.
He spoke but Azzam was holding his breath. He spoke without a pause. Similar to when he was reciting ijab qabul. He murmured in his heart.
“Iya. But there is a condition,” reply Azzam.
“What?”
“Nisa has to go to school with Brother today! Brother will not allow Nisa to carry motor.”
I shut up and thought. “But, Brother. Nisa can't ride a car. Drunk travel.” I said give an excuse.
“Do not think you are stupid, it is the distance from home to school until 10 hours to get drunk on everything," Aazam argued. "There is no reason, if not want that Nisa will not be allowed to go to school today,” said Azzam emphasized.
I put on a short smile.
“He-he, yes-yes. Nisa's coming with Brother.”
“Trus how are socks?” I said pursing my lips.
“Search others only. Instead of being late,” he gave a solution. “After that, re-clean this room, then breakfast.”
“SIAP, Nisa's Ustadz,” I salute.
Azzam smiled faintly, then came back out.

“Come quickly!” brother Azzam orders from behind the steering wheel.
I walked with a little run towards Abang Azzam's car which had been roaring since earlier. My hand opened the back door of the car.
“Come on the road,” I said after sitting quietly and neatly in the back seat of the car.
“Why sit behind?” protest Abang Azzam.
“What's the reason?” I cringed and confused.
“Nisa sitting in front only, here!” her door.
“No, Nisa wants to sit behind!” my elak made Abang Azzam widen his eyes.
“If Nisa is sitting behind later people think the driver's brother Nisa.”
I'm sighing. There are so many reasons for Abang Azzam so that I can sit close to him. “Abang, why don't you have Nisa sitting on top!? There is no difference in Nisa sitting in front or behind. Same thing,” I said make Abang Azzam kicep.
“Nisa!” I saw from the reflection of the car mirror, the look in his eyes gave emphasis so that I obeyed his order to sit in front with him. “The person who is most cursed by God is the one who always invites debate. Come fast!” door's back.
I'm clucking bitterly. “Iya-iya.”
The huft! I finally had to give up and move to the front seat.
Without saying anything Azzam stepped on the accelerator. Azzam did not want to say another word. He chose to be quiet. Focus on holding the steering wheel of the car.
For the next fifteen minutes no conversation took place. I turned to look at Abang Azzam, he was still silent. It doesn't feel good to just be quiet like this.
“Abang?”
“Hm”
“Abang a toothache?”
“No.”
“Why silent daritadi.”
He didn't say.
“Abang?” I called him again.
“Hm” reply same.
I'm hissing as hell. “Abang angry again?”
“No.”
Ah already. From there the chatter went round and round to there. I finally chose to be quiet as well. I just want to turn my gaze to the side mirror of the car. Suddenly my eyes looked at an object on the dashboard of the car. Hand grabbed.
“Abang? Who's this?”
Azzam.
“It's got Nisa, from Hanan last night.”
I first read the greeting card attached to it.
Hi, Dhanisa I know we have the same reading taste.
This is just a gift for you.
Hope you like it.
Get well soon, yeah

-hanan
I smiled at Hanan's writing. My hand tore the wrapping paper. Fill a novel.
Azzam turned his head and realized that I had been smiling to see the delivery from Hanan.
“Why smile-smile?”
“Ngak. How did you meet Hanan?”
“Consider last night to come to the thanksgiving event friend Brother, either suddenly Brother met with Hanan. How many times have you been there always meet him.”
“Who is your friend's name?”
“Sarah.”
“What is Brother Sarah her friend Brother Azzam?” muttered.
“Why?”
“Neither.”
Without realizing it the car has turned towards Madrasah.
“Abang stop!” I pat Brother Azzam's shoulder. “Nisa stops near front stop aja.”
“Lho why not get off in front of the school gate.”
“Nothing, not tasty diliatin temen-temen.”
In Azzam's heart actually knew Nisa's intent. She did not want her schoolmates to know about their relationship as husband and wife. Even though they were cousins, with them always leaving and coming home together would certainly raise questions for Nisa's friends. While the co-workers of one profession Azzam some already know that he has married Dhanisa.
“Nisa, remember! Later go home wait for Brother in front.”
I'm nodding. “Iya”
Abang Azzam's car began to pass into the school grounds, while I walked from the stop to the madrasah only about fifteen meters away. Doesn't matter.
