Night is replacing the evening. Right at the foot of the moon sky and stars like they are conspiring to enliven his romantic story. He seemed to not want to lose showing intimacy in the dark silent night. Its glare extends bright memayugi segara.
On the veranda of the house, I still felt at home for a long time yet to shuffle from sitting. The wedding invitation paper that was new until last evening I fluttered to the face, even though the air that night was not hot.
I lifted him right in front of my face. My eyeballs circulate a vertical line following the beautifully curled letters. Maybe as beautiful as the mood, of the two couples listed in this wedding invitation. I remained glued for a while, and I turned to heaven to search one object after another for the power of God high in the sky, until time had brought me into the tunnel of the past. Still imagined how childish nature of both of us.
At that time I was six years old, nosily taking a wedding invitation belonging to my father lying on the table. I took him running to the front porch of the house. Suddenly I thought of something. Finally go back inside the room to pick up the marker and paper. When I returned back to the terrace, my gaze caught a shadow of a man sitting facing the road, so that only his back could be seen. He held up the invitation paper high. It looks like a person who is checking the authenticity of money. I who do not like my toys on the swipe directly snatch it from the top.
“This toy got Nisa!” chirping.
He only put on a surprised face when the paper suddenly disappeared from his sight.
“Mau Nisa what?” He asked because he saw me carrying a paper flyer and marker.
“Make a wedding-marriage.” My hands began to scribble the name of the bride and groom on the paper.
The man only laughed out loud when he heard that sentence. “Nisa, want to marry?”
He asked while putting his face at such a close distance to my face. Until his breath was heard.
I held his mouth tight for a long time. “Hussttt, Brother don't be tight talking about it.”
Unaccepting, he put my hand back away. “Nisa, almost Brother died from holding his breath,” he said with a gasp of breath, his breath almost gone.
“Lagian why the hell is it?”
“Ish! Nisa is shy,” I said in a voice whispering into her ear.
“Ha-ha.. since when is a shy Nisa?” ledek the man.
Now all the writings of the bride's name are gone and can not be read anymore. I put the paper on it.
“Indeed Nisa wants to change by whose name?”
“The girl's name, Nisa changed to D.H.A.N.I.S.A.”
I began to carve one letter after another in my name. For the style of the letter, do not ask. The writing is fat, there is slim.
“Keep the male?”
I stopped when I had finished a series of letters forming my name. I kept quiet and thought about what was the right name for her man.
“Ah! Nisa thought long ago, here let Brother name it.” His hand grabbed the marker lying on the floor.
As he wrote, I also spelled out letter by letter strung together. “A.Z.Z.A.M” My lips make a stammer. The letter Z is the letter J.
“OK done!” azzam exclaimed with spirit.
“Where to see the results, good no?”
Just as I was about to grab it, the paper was already pulled back.
“Eitts, briefly.”
I saw his hand writing the heart symbol, and in the middle of it was written the initial letter DA. “Dhanisa, Azzam.”
“Well, take”
I greeted him slowly. Now I lift it right in front of my face. Watching a series of my work, I smiled.
“Heh, you guys are here apparently.” Hazwan─ayah Dhanisa standing in the doorway.
“Iya Om Hazwan's. What's up Om?” azzam asked when he found Om Hazwan like he was confused.
“You see the invitation on the table Om no, because Om wants to see what day and what time it takes. Understand, this is how it turns out.”
Knowing that Dad was looking for the invitation paper that I had taken away earlier, I finally hid it behind my body. I wish I hadn't seen him.
Azzam. “Ngak Om.”
Not until three seconds, Azzam remembered something. “Or this one, Om?”
“Nisa, where? Try to love Om Hazwan,” pinta Azzam.
I just shake.
“Dhanisa,” longitudinal dad tone calling my name. I was so forced to give my father's invitation paper that I had scribbled.
Dad's eyes widened when he found the wedding invitation paper changed its name.
“What is Nisa?”
Looking at the expression of the father glaring at me, I only screech as I scratch at the nape, not knowing what to say.
I'm still getting carried away by the silent night seduction. My tube suddenly moved, then I closed my eyes for a moment. While in my concentration as thick as possible I feel the cold that strips the skin. I opened my eyes, my head turned again to the sky, seeing one by one the stars began to fade from the sky because of the gray clouds.
“What's up here?” The question of Abang Azzam broke the silence.
I inched my back to the support pole of the veranda.
“This, there was a wedding invitation from Arman this evening for Brother so that next week can come.”
“For Brother? Wouldn't it be that for Abang means for Nisa as well? We come both later.”
I am usually chatty, do not respond to any words azzam. I'm still sitting, silent. Azzam who was sitting next to stared with a question mark.
“Honey, why?”
The look on my face changed when I heard the words of affection coming out of Azzam's mouth.
“Since when has there been a word of affection coming out of Brother's mouth? Not forever this Brother just always called the nickname Nisa.”
Brother Azzam chuckled. “Since today.”
“Why?” I asked with a confused look.
“Yaa, we have agreed to be sweet like a romantic couple.”
“Not that if in front of Umi, now again not in front of Umi.” My protest.
Azzam sighed. “In front of Umi or not in front of Umi, it's good we are being nice and harmonious. Yes right?” At the end of his sentence he threw a smile.
I just pursed my lips.
He stood just to change his sitting position, leaning his back also on the porch pole. Exactly where I was also leaning my back at this moment. We both sat with our backs turned.
Azzam turned back the invitation that Nisa had given earlier. His lips were like kamit reading the name on the invitation card.
Andrian Almahdi (Ryan)
Amanda Syahida (Ida)
Azzam flipped back to the front page. A heart filled with the letters R&I
Azzam smiled clumsily.
“Sayang?”
Again the call grinned in my ear. I turned towards him while staring at the sinister as well as fed up. My mouth shut tightly and teeth chattered.
“Abang! Once again say dear, dear, Nisa's gag that mouth wear slippers,” said I clucked irritated as well as furious.
Not wanting to be the ingredients of his tantrums, Azzam stopped his messiness. “Yes, okay-okay. Brother follow the wishes of Nisa”
He moved back to sit, getting closer to my side.
“Nisa see this.” His finger pointed at a side of the invitation letter.
Even though I still felt furious, my eyes were still tailing to steal a glance at what he wanted to tell me.
“Nisa, ever made like thiskan?” He asked with a tone of spirit.
In my true heart I thought when I had just had my memory thrown into that ridiculous event, and now he still remembers it. I guess he forgot about that. I don't know why my eyes deliberately circled wildly everywhere so I wouldn't have to listen to the question.
Uhuk .
My voice pretended to cough.
“Ouch! It seems Nisa's throat is thirsty. Nisa come inside first want to drink.”
For that reason, I went inside leaving him sitting alone on the porch.
Just arrived in the living room, the fragrant aroma had already burst forth. Suddenly I felt instantly the stomach became very hungry as it smelled a pleasant aroma that led from the kitchen. Ah, uminya Abang Azzam is an expert in cooking, I think his clever cooking he put it down to the youngest child. Without thinking any longer, I darted towards the kitchen, and there I had met Umi preparing dinner.
“Hemm, very fragrant Umi. Make Nisa hungry evenings gini.”
“Eh, Nisa. Come Nak. We prepare to eat together. Where did your husband tell you to come here.”
“There's Umi, still outside. Nisa's sure she'll be here soon."
On the dining table there have been several dishes including dishes that I cooked this afternoon, spinach vegetables and fried fish plus the dishes made by Umi, namely spicy sour vegetables, grilled chicken and chili. Sambal made by Umi is very similar to the sambal that Abang Azzam made at that time. Red chillies are mixed with coarsely ground green chilies. It is very appetizing to immediately eat it.
Without me realizing, Brother Azzam was standing behind me.
“Sit down. We eat together,” pinta Umi.
We all filled our benches.
After closing my seat my eyes immediately wildly staring at the food presented. I started to spoon the rice into the dish, just picked up the side dish. The first menu choice, I dropped on the sambal made by umi that made me fall in love, because of his pleasure, spicy, savory.
“Nisa, please scoop a little roasted chicken.” Smooth ink.
But I was silent not. Seeing me so, he rolled his eyes at me like a gesture for us to carry out the mission as agreed this afternoon.
I can only submit to his will to serve him, as the wife serves the husband. I snorted a patient breath. It seems that for the next few days the burden on my shoulders will be as heavy as possible.
I saw Brother Azzam start scooping vegetables and moving them into a dish. I chose not to care and went back to feeding the rice into my mouth.
“Open his mouth.” The command was heard while I was still chewing the rice slowly that had just entered my mouth. I turned my face towards him. Now that spoon is exactly straight with my mouth.
“Come,” tell him again, still swinging a spoon filled with rice and mixed with side dishes. What try he do! I still have a hand I can use to feed rice into my own mouth.
“Abang only,” I said, meaning to refuse.
Brother Azzam snorted and said, ”Abang will also eat, but for the first bribe Brother gave specifically to Brother's wife, come on.”
I saw umi glancing at me, I could only smile clumsily, then try to smile face-wise in front of the umi. Looking at the eyes, I turned again to the face of Brother Azzam but I looked at him while glaring. In my heart I grumbled angrily, Hemm, if there were no Umi here these plates and spoons might have floated up on his head.
I was forced to open my mouth, taking a bite of rice from Abang Azzam who moved slowly. Once the rice has entered the mouth, it feels so difficult I chew let alone swallow it.
“Again?” hold it with your hands still up.
I'm shaking.
“Abang try vegetable chips made by Nisa?”
I spooned the vegetables and a little gravy into the dinner plate Brother Azzam. I looked at his face to see how Abang Azzam's face looked. It was not long before his forehead frowned when he felt the food passing on his tongue.
“How? Cute?” I ask who has not touched my own handmade vegetables at all.
“Enak.” I saw him answer as his eyes frowned, my mind started to get weird I was sure there must be something unpleasant.
“Nisa, try to grab the vegetables,” now it's Azzam's turn to ask.
Out of curiosity too, I finally tried to suck the spinach vegetable into a dish and then mix it with rice. At the time of the first landing, my mouth felt nothing, but after I chewed and swallowed it, the tongue began to squirm. I could only grin when the vegetable had passed through my esophagus. In a hurry my hand grabbed the glass, gulped down the mineral water until it was empty of leaping.
“Asin very,” said, commenting on the results of his own cooking.
Umi just shook her head looking at my expression.
“It's okay to still learn, right. Umi?” Azzam seemed to be trying to expand my heart, so as not to feel too failed to start learning to cook.
“Iya. His intention to learn was good. There is a business, later will also be good at measuring its composition.” Umi said while smiling.
I smiled rattlingly. The face begins to feel hot and reddened as it resists embarrassment and unpleasantness. Moreover, there is Umi here, it will certainly be as good as showing that I have been lacking in terms of taking care of household affairs. And I was sure that in Umi's mind must have been taking care of everything was her son.
“Nisa, how nice to be the wife of an Azzam?” Umi questioned, whether she really wanted to really ask or want to insinuate me.
“Umi why ask like that?” It was not that I answered even Azzam who opened his voice.
“Ya, no. Umi just ask.”
I exhaled heavily and glanced at Abang Azzam who looked a little nodding and a small smile.
I just smiled masygul. “If Nisa is happy, just happy Umi,” answer me to Umi's question.
Umi nodded. ”Alhamdulillah thank goodness, glad Umi heard it.”
“After graduation, where will you connect the lecture?” Umi connected her words.
I was silent then thought, “Nisa's initial plan is to find Umi's scholarship, study outside.”
“Hmm, nice it. Then start diligently from now on so that it is easy for Nisa during the test later.”
“Iya, Umi. Nisa is trying to diligently study and review the test questions so that it will be smooth when the test will be.”
Umi nodded, then continued speaking. “Umi once told Azzam that he should not be too telling Nisa to do household work, Umi asked that Azzam told Nisa to focus first in facing the school exam soon.”
In my heart, that statement made me feel a little relieved. It turns out they always make room for me to explore themselves not just demanding to do monotonous work as a housewife.
