The Pledge of Love Embroidered Heaven
CHAPTER 31. Fights

Azzam ran back to his car, creeping into the wheel. He turned the car starter, made a hundred and eighty-degree turn then steered the car out of the alley and turned towards the highway. He did not want to waste any time to help his wife, the steering wheel was deflected through the causeway to speed up the mileage.

Azzam's chest started to feel hot. Negative thoughts began to fill his head. He tried to calm down by taking a deep breath and then exhaling it. In his heart he ceaselessly dhikr, begging Allah to help him, because there is no other power and effort except to ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

The huft! The fog along the road was thickening. Azzam seemed to be closing his eyes tightly. The light coming out of his car lights at this time is not enough to be used as a streetlight. Moreover, the heavy rain that fell and covered the visibility of the car glass, making Azzam as difficult as looking ahead.

It didn't take half an hour for the car to arrive. Azzam got straight out of his car, running nonstop in the slightest. He is still trying to find his wife. His eyes twisted looking around, accidentally stepping on an object Azzam's feet. He found Dhanisa's phone still on.

“Nisa, it's around here,” murmured, anxious.

Azzam's brain was twisted with the sound of crying and screams Dhanisa a few minutes. It makes him as sure as possible that Dhanisa is around here.

“NISA!”

“NISA!”

Azzam shouted many times.

He kept walking down the road. Unable to find her, Azzam tries to go deeper into the undergrowth hoping he can find Dhanisa there. He was only helped by the light of a dimly lit lamp from the street corner. The light does not spread evenly throughout the area because the grass grows quite dense and high.

Azzam cried out calling Nisa's name. But the faint screams he heard began to fade. Azzam was afraid that something bad was happening to his wife.

After circling it is not clear by crashing the swift rain that falls. Azzam found someone under a large tree. Roughly Azzam rubbed his face, to get rid of the rain that hit to make the vision less clear.

Once the relief of Azzam feeling when he managed to find his wife. But, the five senses also caught another figure who was near Nisa. The man seemed to be smothering Nisa's mouth tightly so as not to shout loudly. Azzam heard the roaring cry of Nisa. While the man seemed to slowly remove the t-shirt attached to his body.

Azzam took a short breath. He clenched his teeth and both of his hands clenched tightly. Once his emotions when he found the man dared to hurt his wife.

“STOP!!” azzam shouted so loudly, that he made the two turn their heads

Nisa's cry was as constant as she looked at Abang Azzam standing across the street. He came to pick her up and help her. Azzam still continued to hold back his emotions this time he really did not accept, his footsteps as neatly directed towards the man.

“You dare not touch my wife!” he murmured, with restraining emotional turmoil.

The man doesn't want to lose. He looked at Azzam with very sharp eyes. The veins of his neck poked out, from his look the man was very unhappy with the presence of another man who tried to interfere with his pleasure tonight.

The man laughed out loud.

“Ouh, the prince came to pick up the player apparently,” led the man.

Azzam was silent, regulating the breath that kept going up and down. Not stable.

“Why? You're scared huh?!” azzam smiled cynically.

“I've never been afraid of anyone, especially with a man like you,” reply full of confidence.

“Oh, really?”

Without waiting for a long time the man immediately raised a fist that led to the head of Azzam, lucky he could fend off, then reply. He staggered, it was hard to balance the body. Not wanting to waste a chance Azzam again sent the next blow to the stomach. His body immediately fell to the ground.

The man was quiet for a long time, but his hands looked like they were fumbling something behind his body. He smiled slanted. Finally, the man got back up and directly pointed a sharp object from the direction of Azzam.

Azzam's eyes opened wide when he saw the sharp object the man was holding in front of him. Slowly Azzam retreated his footsteps, trying to keep his distance to minimize the worst.

I'm still sitting curled up. My heart was pounding at the sight of what was happening in front of me. It's really a bad situation.

I kept screaming for help, but no one came to help us. A quiet atmosphere like this, only occasionally passing vehicles. I was worried about my situation and that of Brother Azzam.

I shook my head. What if something happens to Azzam? What if the man manages to stick a sharp weapon into Azzam's body?

I'm afraid, Brother Azzam and that man are still fighting fist. They attack each other.

“STOP!!” the sound of shouting from a distance, forced them to stop fighting each other.

Both of them turned to the source of the voice. The look on the man's face immediately turned frantic and stiffened as his eyes caught a sight of a man in a brown uniform standing and ready to catch the man. I'm so grateful that the night patrol police were able to come in time to help him. But, that man did not want to give up just like that. He tried to escape the ridge away into the thicket. The night patrol officers did not remain silent when the community's rubbish was unsettling.

My body is shaking violently. I sat curled up with both legs folded and my head sank there. My tears flowed nonstop. Even though I held her back desperately, I still cried.

Azzam slowed down his steps towards Nisa.

“Nisa...” call Azzam.

Azzam squatted down, his hand slowly touching Nisa's shoulder.

“Dhanisa..” call him again.

I ventured to raise my head with a wet face filled with tears mixed with rainwater. I sobbed.

"Let's go home" Azzam said.

“Abang... ” call me. “Abang anyone injured?” I asked with a voice shaking withstanding the cold, how could I not be worried that the man had managed to injure Abang Azzam with his weapon.

“Nisa, don't think brother. The important thing is Nisa congratulations,” Abang Azzam's voice slightly stinged.

My lips are still shaking withstanding the cold.

Azzam could not bear to see me shivering violently and then took off my jacket and cupped to my body to slightly dispel the cold that was carried along with the swift rain. Azzam tried to help me stand up.

“Already, don't cry,” said Azzam while wiping my face.

Azzam grabbed my body, helping to stand up immediately.

"We have to go home right now" he said

I felt a little difficult when I was going to walk, presumably Abang Azzam could feel what was happening to my body until he guided my steps slowly. We both walked out of the thicket accompanied by raindrops that began to subside.

In the car the silence was very clear. Azzam's brother kept looking at me. I was still sitting in silence, with my head bowed deeply. My shoulders trembled withstanding the cold that was seeping into the body. Brother Azzam's hand led to the beat and then put it into my body. His eyes are still not out.

"It's still cold?"

I'm silent.

As soon as he asked again, “Nisa, anyone is sick?” brother Azzam asked worriedly while looking at me, instead I did the same. We exchanged looks for a long time.

I shook my head.

“Abang?”

“What?” sahut Azzam's.

“Abang why do something like that? If the evil man stabbed Brother's body how?” my question, worry.

“Kan Nisa asked,” the answer is flat.

I frowned. “When Nisa asks?” my tone is still shaking.

“Tadi, instead of calling for Brother to help Nisa right," she replied with a smile.

I snorted, then tried to let go of his hand. But he kept holding back and even tightened it.

“Please hand, Nisa!” door immediately.

I never thought about what Abang Azzam was thinking, he just kept looking at me. I felt his gaze this time deeper. The lip lines form a small smile. He kissed both my hands. Then his lips slowly opened.

“Because Brother, do not want to see Nisa injured,” he replied softly. “If Nisa is injured, then Brother will feel more hurt because it did not manage to keep his own wife.”

Azzam saw the wound on Nisa's forehead again bleed. He took out a few strands of tissue and cleared away a bit of blood flowing from his forehead.

I held his hand.

“Nisa want to go home!”

Azzam realized that Nisa must immediately change her wet clothes and re-treat her wounds. He quickly turned on the car, stepped on the gas pedal, then drove the vehicle quickly so that it could get home soon.

***

Geck... Geck... Gts ...

“Nisa? Can you enter?” the voice of Azzam from outside.

I turned the door handle, then turned back to the bed.

Azzam made a warm ginger drink for me.

“This, drink. Brother want to grab P3K box first.”

I received a cup containing the ginger drink and put it on the nightstand. Then sat the edge of the bed holding the cold.

Before long Azzam came with a P3K box. He sat down to face me and began to treat the wound on his forehead. During the activity, my eyes could not see him. I realized that at the corner of Abang Azzam's lips bruised. My eyes were trailing to the back of his hand which was also so. It could be the effect of the blow earlier.

“Already,” he said. “After this go to sleep,” pinta Azzam. Then clean the P3K box. My hands are trying to prevent what he's doing.

“Do not wash first,” I said, asking.

I took a cotton swab and cleaned out the slight wound created at the corner of his lips then grabbed the red medicine and dripped it, then rubbed it again.

Brother Azzam was silent looking at my face as I rubbed the corners of his lips with a cotton swab. After his face, I then grabbed Abang Azzam's hand and saw his handbooks bleeding because they were throwing too many punches at the man who fought earlier.

In the heart of Azzam felt very happy to mix with sadness, because only this time he could feel the attention Nisa gave to him. He knew how difficult it was to grab Dhanisa's attention, because he was always so jutek.

“Nisa.”

“Hm” murmured me with still focus on treating the wound on Abang Azzam's hand.

Brother Azzam's hand grabbed both of my hands, and piled them together with his. He looked at me, so did I.

“Why didn't Nisa ask for a ride with Sis Soraya or Abang Fikri?”

I calmly answered. “No vehicles in Umi's house, all used.”

“Why not wait for them to come home?” ask Azzam again.

I'm down. “Nisa remember Abang said he did not have a house spare key, so Nisa hastily chose to go straight home.”

Azzam did say that, but he really did not expect it to be like this. He actually has the key. But luckily nothing happened to him. If the man had really managed to damage her, Azzam would never have forgiven himself.

Azzam sighed, his chest felt tight.

He lifted my hand and kissed it slowly.

“Nisa go to bed,” the door after that.

I said, then got up to pick up the blanket first.

My steps were blocked instantly, as she held my wrist to force me to turn around.

“Abang apologizes if all this time Brother has done wrong.”

I frowned, “Abang why say that?”

Azzam did not answer, he instead sniffed my chin so that I could continue what I was doing.

“Prepare to sleep.”
