The Pledge of Love Embroidered Heaven

The Pledge of Love Embroidered Heaven
CHAPTER 2. Heart Contingent

Is the sun so close to the earth? Until the heat is so felt to the crown. I guessed so because the body already felt sweaty. I looked up with narrowed eyes, holding back the scorching glare of heat spreading across the earth. In the sky, the wind pushes the clouds to move and move so quickly. To make the cloud divorced.

I feel a gentle wind is circling me. The blow kicked the leaves to roll in an uncertain direction, finally the sand dust became the impact. I wipe my sweaty forehead. The dust that was aura of auran violently shot into the eyes.

In the Madrasah field there are only us, students in class 12-A who are taking the lessons of the Pengjaskes that Mr. Chandra leads. My gym teacher is athletic, with a little rivet skin color. Probably because he often exposed his body under the hot sun. Like this time, in the middle of the field he gave directions to the technique of throwing discs.

“Everything try to look forward and follow the movement of Mr yes,” said Mr. Chandra by holding an object that is round flat.

“Technical prefix when about to throw a disc make sure the position of the body stands to the side over the throw, then both legs are opened as wide as the shoulder. Try to relax your legs and bend a little yes.” Mr. Chandra gave instructions.

All students follow every movement made by Mr. Chandra even though there are few who seem to have difficulty doing the movement as Mr. Chandra wants.

“Beauty his legs are less bent it!” reprimand Mr. Chandra who saw Jihan is still somewhat less than perfect in doing the movement.

For sports issues, which are part of kinesthetic intelligence, Jihan seems to be looking a little below average. If told to kick the futsal ball to where it gets to where, continue if told to serve volleyball, the service is not stable. Though we who like sports have often directed him to be right in serving, yes maybe basic Jihan is not in kinesthetic. Jihan the guy is a little calm. Little huh? not much, different from me who installments. However, for other subjects Jihan should not be underestimated. He is so capable especially the subjects of the religious field, the value that he can almost always A+. While I as a subscription get a C.

Already about an hour and thirty minutes passed, Mr. Chandra closed his learning activities the day and will be resumed next week.

“Alright before you close today's lesson, let us do’a first. Berdo’a starts.”

Children fervently do’a while raising their hands hoping for the usefulness and blessing of the knowledge received today.

“Completed,” said Mr. Chandra, ending prayer.

“Do not forget next week your task is to summarize the material about the history of the game of basketball, and the techniques in playing basketball. One more message, Father, after this you go change your gym clothes and go to class, because after this there are still singing subjects?"

“Iya Sir,” replied the children simultaneously

“Oke, now please disperse.”

The entire student began to disperse each one of his lines. Jihan and I walked through the school corridor to the dressing room. Unexpectedly as I passed in front of the teacher room, a voice called out my name. The eyes immediately turn toward the source of the sound. What is visible from the reflection of the lens of my eyes is a male figure of about 176 cm tall, with a body not too thin, not too fat. Fairly proportionate. His face was firm, with a sturdy jaw overgrown with mints, a shady eye gaze, short black hair. What makes him different is that he always wears a skullcap on his head. He is Abang Azzam.

“Abang!” I said with a surprised expression. “Abang why here?” many wonder.

“I just met the principal, earlier delivering file.”

“File?”

“Iya. God willing I will teach in this madrasah.”

“Hey, Nisa, Jihan come with us to the canteen!” bring Fey. Not yet I want to ask more deeply why Abang Azzam chose to teach here, Fey has come to invite us both to go to eat in the cafeteria behind the school.

Seeing me silently not flinching, Fey called again. “Nisa, come!”

“Mari Sir! Uh Ustadz! What should I call ya?” said Fey while scratching his head which is actually not itchy.

“Call him Ustadz Azzam.”

Suddenly Mr. Chandra's voice came with us who still stood in front of the teacher's room. “Betul Ustadz?”

Azzam only responded to Mr. Chandra's words with a smile.

“Sorry Sir, what Ustadz Azzam will teach us in our classes too?” ask Jihan.

“Iya. Ustadz Azzam will also fill the hours of Qur’an Hadist lessons in class 12-A."

I saw Jihan's expression so happy to hear that. I smile too thinly.

“It's there! Why haven't you guys changed your clothes yet, did you order what? Do you want a fine?” mr. Chandra's tone was a little threatening.

“Eh, no! No Sir. If so, excuse me first,” said Sadam.

Without further ado, I went to the cafeteria with other friends instead of changing clothes. Hunger seems to beat the fear of fines and Mr. Chandra's threat to us.

***

We and the genk─Jihan, Sadam, Jovan, Fey and I have gathered in the cafeteria. We certainly want to buy chicken noodles owned by Pakde Yono which is famous for being delicious coupled with affordable prices for school children. No wonder, this stall becomes a strategic place to spread charm, just huddle, vent or really to eat chicken noodles. No exception Nisa and the Genk.

Pakde Yono chicken noodle canteen located in the back corner of the school always looks crowded fans. In front of the chicken noodle cart Pakde Yono there are tables that have been prepared and arranged in such a way that they look orderly and neat. The tables and benches that are long can fit many people, so the katin is often used as a kind of place for informal deliberation for school students.

Fey raised his hand, calling out to Pakde Yono. “Pakde, his chicken noodles five as usual huh!” fey Pinta.

Pakde Yono also seemed to be very familiar with the tastes of each of the five people so there was no need for him to ask about this and that.

“Nisa, I want that nanya was Ustadz Azzam who are you, why do you call her Abang?” jihan asked, asking about Ustadz Azzam.

“Oh he is my brother, Brother cousin,” I said, then sipped a squeeze orange ice drink that has arrived first. “Why? A crush? Ntar I salamin,” my god.

“Eh! Nope. I'm going to be with you again.”

"Yee really ngarep, even if you are a match with my brother, if not we will not be besananan," I commented.

“Males? Sure enough? Don't-don't during this Jihan secretly has a crush on the Jovan again,” said Fey pompori.

Jovan restores her hair when she hears her name juxtaposed with Jihan.

“He is a handsome gini, do not get wasted,” said Jovan glancing mischievously towards Jihan.

Jihan shuddered amusedly.

The breeze that blows during the day is quite soothing lunch of the five friends and the genk. Our friendship is not a can. Our friendship is sincere. Who would have thought we were both punished by seniors during school orientation. Then there we laughed mocking our senior. We have also been in a fishing race until late at night, until tomorrow we catch a cold, to experience hypothermia during mountain climbing activities. We've had a lot of fun going through.

“Nisa,” call Fey.

“Hmm,” sahutku while concocting chicken noodles that just came.

“Later tonight if suppose I ajakin out, is it okay?” fey asked, feeling a little doubtful.

Fey was a little hesitant to invite Dhanisa to come out again because about a week ago Nisa had to feel an unbearable headache that required her to be hospitalized.

Fey himself suspected this was because of the fishing competition activities that we participated in at that time, until Nisa was exhausted plus the atmosphere of cold night air. If counted about only this week Nisa recovered and could go to school again.

“Yes, no problem. Tumben pamit first, usually also just pick up at home.”

“Ngak. I don't feel good with your parents, afraid you can't because you are also new to recovery," Fey replied unpleasantly.

Actually Fey just want to invite Nisa to come out in the afternoon, only after school they have an additional study schedule outside.

Hearing the conversation between the two of us Sadam mendehem because he felt there was a friend who was neglected.

Sadam nudged Fey's shoulder. “We are not invited?”

“Ngaklah. This is my dinner with Nisa, so no one of you can come,” said Fey, refusing.

“Yes already, Jehan release we make the event together also yuk?” god Sadam.

"iiiiihhhh, what a shame," said Jihan with an amused expression.

“Keep me the same who dong?” sadam's tone was sad.

The five friends laughed loosely without any burden, under the shade that enveloped the day. That is the friend who does not kneel always present when happy but also difficult times though, faithfully embrace the light weight of sadness that is borne. Turn sadness into laughter. But not always friends will continue to be friends, it seems a bit difficult to maintain a commitment in a friendship called a friend. Slowly everything can change over time, because it is used to spending time together to make the sense of comfort is present beyond its levels. If that's what Fey and I are going through right now, it's like we're hiding a sense of turbulence.

Fey himself has a plan, if later tonight he will express all his feelings during this time, which he hides behind a friendship.

***

Fey's big motorbike ran fast down the streets of the city of Metropilitan which has now begun to be quiet. The glittering street lights added to the street chaos that night. I hugged Fey's waist tight, which was taking me down the street at night.

I feel like Fey's different tonight, not usually he invites me to eat or just hang out at the cafe. Usually we just hang out at Mak Ittah stalls. Warung Mak Ittah which is often used as the basecamp of the five of us.

Do not know it feels a little fun and open when gathered there, on the contrary if in the cafe it feels a bit stiff, not unusual or inappropriate just feel uncomfortable.

It didn't take long for Fey's bike to get into the yard.

“Come with me,” take Fey with me by holding my spoiled hand.

He led me to enter a garden filled with flickering lights of various colors. It seems to me that people enjoy this atmosphere so much.

Moreover, it is supported by the moon that looks so dim, illuminating every corner of the night.

‘Ah can also she set up this moment and impress me’, I satin.

We then took a sitting position side by side. Fey raised his hand, calling one of the servants.

“Mbak, please order is delivered ya.”

“Iya Sir, awaited yes,” said the waiter.

I smiled as both hands closed my mouth so Fey wouldn't know I was laughing at him.

“Why?” Fey asked when he saw me laughing.

“You are so old you are called Father. How many children do you have, sir?” ledek.

“Ha-ha, don't know yet. Uh, but if I was called Father means you dong mother,” reply Fey who also looks not to lose.

“Fey,” call me.

“Iya.”

“Tumben? There must be a shrimp behind the rock." I guessed.

Fey laughs in a crack showing off his shaky teeth. “No, this is purely a solicitation from my heart.”

Not long until Fey's order arrived. A chocolate ice cream and my favorite cheese bread came out front. Fey ordered his favorite Nescafe drink. I began to glance at the cheese bread that was sitting in front of me not because I was hungry but there was a small piece of sheet tucked into a fold. Slowly my hand reached him, once in a while I pointed it at Fey, I only saw him smiling faintly.

“Please open and read." Fey.

The sky is smiling in the blue white blanket

I saw the children cheering in the green grassy field

The sweet smile is meaningful

Nothing beats his bias that penetrates the corners of the world

Just like that, the voice of the heart beats my ego

I hope this feeling is not wrong.

It's time I said that I

I'm keeping a taste in you,

will you accept this feeling....?

~Fey

That's how the paper sounds. I immediately looked at Fey without blinking. Looking at my expression Fey threw her sweetest smile I had never seen in all this time. Seeing him like that, I felt like red was sticking out of my cheeks.

Fey pointed his index finger towards the skyline. It also made me follow his gaze. He moved his index finger pointing out imaginary lines at the bright flashing stars. Now our faces are both looking up.

"A heart" said Fey.

My forehead frowned. I don't see what he sees.

"Nothing is."

He grabbed my index finger and directed it to form a heart pattern.

"For me the star forms the heart's heart contigent" he said.

I smiled with anxiety.

"You want to give that heart to me?" fey asked while glancing funny. His long, pliable eyelashes gnawed.

The expression of taste while I express through a smile that expands from the lips and also flies with a thumping heart.

Not a word came out of my mouth. Long time I thought I was still staring at what I was thinking, seeing my face not rippling, Fey moved the palm of my hand in front of my eyes.

"Hoi. Even dumbfounded,” said Fey memangetarkkan me who was stunned.

"What did you ask the sky for that night?" I asked back while looking up at the sky.

"The brightest star" he replied.

"alright. The goddess of the night will give it to you. One of the brightest and most beautiful stars" I said sweetly.

"Are you willing to give me that star?"

I'm nodding.

Fey was so excited, "That star I'll keep in my heart and lock it tight."

I frowned, "Why?"

"So no one can steal it forcibly."

“Hmm..” I shook my head.

"How do I still need to reply to this string of your sentences?" I was holding a piece of paper near the cake.

Fey shook his head with happy faces. "No need, I already know the answer. You want to accept me, right?" His eyes looked hopefully.

I threw a ten centi smile. "Yes"

Fey who heard my confession immediately jumped up in excitement, not caring that the people around were looking at him.

When a love is avenged like fireworks that erupt. Looks beautiful and glamorous. Maybe this is what Fey felt. Without further ado I asked him to act ordinary.

“Fey, shy little dong seenin people!” my reprimand when I saw Fey's overreaction invited the gazes of the crowd.

He didn't touch my words. “Nisa everyone has their own way of expressing the happiness of his love. My way is to bring you a smile together.”

It seems like tonight will be a night where both of us find it hard to just close our eyes. Happiness engraved as a surprise I hope there is the next happiness surprise.
