Looking for Daniel

For some, it may not be a long time. But for those who wait for their loved ones, it feels like years. Every second felt so long and made everything so miserable. I couldn't get in touch with Alden and he didn't text me either.

If I knew that this would make me unable to breathe like a fish coming out of the water, then I would not let him go.

But I understand the man I love is not just for myself, but he is a hero to my whole country. He's dealing with bad guys who might kill him. Sometimes I wonder why people should do that.

With all the thoughts running through my head, I went to a supermarket. It's been so long since I've been out to buy my necessities and I usually go with Alden but now....

Never mind, I can only sigh. I bought Alden's favorite vegetables, ingredients to make cookies and other pastries because I was trying to bake cookies. After picking up some of the ingredients that were on my grocery list, I finally came out with a trolley full of the items I bought.

I bent over to pick up the bag of groceries I dropped and in front of me were three men wearing all-black clothes and also wearing sunglasses.

These men are not from men who work in supermarkets because their clothes are red.

I started to get nervous when I realized there was a picture of a snake in front of every outfit they were wearing. I also thought about what Daniel told me about a sadistic gang called The Black Viper. But it can't be them. My head must be thinking of something strange.

Any black clothes with snake images couldn't possibly all be related to them and they had already disappeared long ago.

There is no gang of any kind that shows its existence now and those people might just be ordinary people or maybe those people are the bodyguards of the rich who cares.

I put all my groceries in the car and got out of the supermarket parking lot.

Those men can't see me. But I was thinking what are they doing here dressed like that. Is it possible that three bodyguards were also given the task of buying home necessities?

I drove home to cook the night and thought I was going to sleep fast today. But I can't. Whenever I close my eyes, I see a picture of the snake.

No matter how stupid reason I give myself to ignore the presence of people who might indeed be Black Viper.

'Did they find Daniel?' my question is in my heart.

I started to sweat when it wasn't too hot. I was nervous and I could smell the imminent danger. I took my phone to call The Red Dragon Academy. It's been a long time since I last talked to Daniel.

I called them, but there was no answer. Then I called back and there was no answer. Now I'm starting to panic. I lost my temper and they just needed to pick up the phone from me. What exactly are they doing? In frustration, I looked at the clock.

I was so surprised after seeing it turns out it's 01:00 in the morning. I tried to go to bed at 09:00 and now it turns out it's 01:00. They might have slept.

"I'll be there tomorrow morning." I said to myself and went to sleep.

Next morning...

I woke up early because I had nightmares. I can't remember everything, but the dream ended with a big man wearing a black shirt and a big snake on his shirt shooting Daniel. I was so scared that I almost peed in my pants.

I quickly arrived at The Red Dragon Academy, then knocked on the door hard and called out Daniel's name.

Om of Daniel came out and saw me.

"Hey Starla darling. I'm really sorry, I lost your number. I have some important news for you." Her speech.

There goes... He will definitely tell me about the return of the bad guy. He'll probably tell me that The Black Viper is here and Daniel's life is in danger.

"Yes I know. I've seen them." I answered with a feeling of fear inside me.

"You know? Did he go to your house? He went into danger and didn't even say anything to us. But he's been planning all that for a long time." Say Om from Daniel.

"Yes, I saw them in..... Wait a minute, who came to my place and who left so quickly?"

I didn't understand it and I asked quickly.

"Daniel! Who did you see?" The old man asked in confusion.

"The Black Viper." Reply with a trembling voice and my face shows fear. "They're back." Continue me.

"What?" Said the man.

He fell straight on the chair. He really seemed so panicked, but I had to discuss all of this.

"Where did he go? I saw three men wearing all-black clothes with pictures of snakes in their clothes near the supermarket and they were seen investigating something as if they were looking for someone. Tell me is Daniel safe?" My toot.

"The lesson Daniel did was successfully completed, now he must study for another 2 to 3 years. But he's been so good. He finished his exam in just 3 months and he thought that he was ready for everything. So he wanted to go and he kept saying that he wasn't going to waste time and start planning everything and because I stopped him anyway. He didn't tell me where he was going. He just said that he would go see you and might come back late. He had a big bag with him and when I checked his room, all his belongings were taken away. I thought he would stay with you for a while and then try to leave that mission. I don't know where he is right now. I'm sorry, honey." Her speech.

"He doesn't know anything. If you get any information, please let me know." I said before leaving the academy.

I went home and checked the CCTV. Daniel came to my house. He kept pressing the bell and luckily the waiter opened the door. I asked the waiter to clean the house every day.

After a short chat, the waiter may have asked Daniel to come but Daniel wrote something down on a paper and left the paper to the waiter and left.

I need to find the letter. I searched everywhere but I couldn't find it. The waiter came at night, I ran to him and asked him about Daniel.

"That's 4 days after you left. Mr. Daniel came here to meet you. But when I said that you went for a vacation with your friends and Mr. Alden also went for his job, he said, Mr. Daniel took a pen and paper from his bag and wrote something and gave the letter to me and asked me to give it to you. He said that it was important. So I kept it and it's the letter." Said the servant to me while giving the letter.
