I took Mama to the hospital. Mama met Mark outside the hospital. Mark seemed so happy to meet Mama. She became the sweetest person ever and believed in me that she was really as sweet as sugar.

"She's my best friend Mark." I said to Mama introducing Mark.

Mark already knew that my Mama was coming, so he bought a bouquet of roses for Mama because Mama loved roses so much.

"Hello Aunt, nice to meet Auntie. I've heard a lot about Aunt Starla. I really want to meet Auntie, and I can't believe that Auntie is here today." Said Mark.

"Thank you dear Mark, Auntie is very happy to meet you. You're a really nice guy and a perfect handsome guy." Say Mama.

I can already feel that Mama is already thinking about my marriage to Mark inside her head right now. So I have to stop Mama.

"Well guys, now let's go eat something." My speech.

"certain." Reply to Mark and then take us to his car and open the car door for me and Mama.

"I'll take you to the best restaurant here Auntie. Aunty will definitely not be able to forget the food that is here." Mark said and then he started driving his car.

We talked about a lot of things along the way. Mama told Mark an embarrassing story about me. Mark laughed and kept looking at me from the windshield of his car where I sat in the back with Mama. Mama must be very aware of that.

Mark turned out to take us to a fancy restaurant and he ordered almost all the very expensive food on the menu.

Mark started asking Mama about Mama's trip when he came here and how Papa and my family are doing.

Before Mama and I could finish our meal, everything was paid for by Mark. She also ordered a sweet dessert for my mom.

After finishing eating, Mark then showed Mama some places in the city. Mark then drove us home.

"Oh my God, my dear daughter!" Say Mama quickly.

"Is he your lover? Are you two dating? He's a perfect man." My mom said non-stop.

"No Mama. He's just my friend and I know that he's very sweet, very nice, and he's the kindest guy. But no Ma, she's not my boyfriend." I said to Mama.

"Can Mama even ask you why you're not dating her?" Ask Mama.

"Because I don't love her Ma. I just thought that he was my best friend and nothing more. He has always expressed his feelings for me that he loves me. I even met his family. I try to look at him in a different way. But I still can't. So it would be best if we stayed friends like this and didn't ruin what we already had." I said to Mama.

Mama seemed to understand my feelings and said, "alright... There may be someone else you want to give your heart to?"

Mom's words about my heart. What Mom said could be true. But other than Mark and some friends at work who are just my friends all and Alden too. I don't know anybody else. So if not Mark, who is that guy?

But I can still answer, "Mama's not discussed anymore. But maybe it's just not Mark, maybe I'm still waiting for the best." My speech.

"All right. Mama hope you find that person soon." Say Mama.

Since we were both full, I showed the guest room to Mama and looked very likeable and after saying good night and thanking Mama for being here with me today. I also went back to my room.

I lay in bed in silence, and tonight I thought of Alden. How all this time we argued all the time or maybe when he could be sweet to me. I enjoyed both. I thought about her great appearance and her amazing nature. How did he suddenly give me a solution and give me his room and comfort all of this without even thinking about anything, when he heard that my Mama was coming.

'Why am I thinking about him? Stupid me! Maybe it's all because he's already a part of my everyday life.'

After thinking about all that and then I laughed at my own stupidity and shortly after that I fell asleep.
