A few days of rest at home, I finally landed in the city of L. I'm preparing for a new life, a new city and a new neighborhood.
I took a deep breath to refresh myself with a different air and I immediately hailed a taxi to take me to a hotel where it was recommended by my friend. So I was in this town alone, barely knowing anything about what was in this place.
The taxi driver drove me to a hotel that was so luxurious that I opened my mouth wide. There is a view of the river where the water is so clear and a high tower across the river. I almost broke my own neck as I kept looking up at the height of the Tower.
I promised myself that I would go to that tower someday. After that, I went into the hotel. With the help of a belboy, I went to the room on the 7th floor of the hotel. Aki was so amazed by the interior from inside the room. After that, I took a shower, ordered dinner and slept soundly like a Panda.
I woke up pretty early the next morning and jumped out of bed with a body that was full of energy. I feel so happy. I opened the curtains in my window and looked out the window. I stared at the busy city with traffic and people walking, where everyone seemed to be busy with their work. I stood there long enough and found myself feeling so calm.
Most hotels in the city promise a beautiful view. But this hotel I'm staying at really proves it all. The view was truly beautiful, even more beautiful compared to what I imagined.
The river with clear water looks so beautiful and the skyscrapers are also seen standing firmly so majestic. Now I know why my friend recommended this hotel to me. The view given is really beautiful.
After looking towards the city from my hotel room, now it's time for me to explore everything in this city and start looking for a home for myself because I can't possibly stay in this hotel forever.
I started with a lot of activities today. But I'm more thinking about seeing a lot of houses. It's just that I'm not sure which house I want to choose to be where I live.
I was so exhausted and decided to go back to the hotel hoping to find a suitable place for me to go again tomorrow. I didn't really expect that I would find such an amazing place on the first day. So I don't think too much about the disappointment that will come my way.
On the way back to the hotel, I saw a homeless boy with cuts and bruises all over his body. He seemed to be sitting alone.
'What is he doing here alone? Where are his parents?' I thought in my heart.
The boy sat down wearing only shabby clothes and was even torn on his body. He looked so skinny, looked like he had lived like that for a long time.
'But why did he get there like that?'
I then approached her and tried to ask her politely so as not to offend her.
"Hey are you alone?" My toot.
He seemed silent for a while and I thought maybe he wouldn't respond to me out of embarrassment. But then shortly after that he looked at me and then he nodded his head.
"Where are your parents?" Ask me again to worry.
He went back into silence again and then shook his head with tears that started falling down his cheeks.
"How can you get hurt like this?" I asked him back.
"I fought with some boys. They beat me for not listening to them." He said courageously to talk to me.
"Where are your friends? Why would they do this to you? What did they ask you to do?" My toot.
He went back silent for a while and after that then replied to my question by shaking his head.
"They want me to get involved in something bad and I don't want to." The reply.
"Can you let me see that wound?" I asked him with empathy.
He also showed his hands to me.
"Is that sick?" I asked to look at his hand.
His hands were small and seemed to be covered with blood that had already dried up scars and incisions everywhere.
"At first it hurt, but not anymore. I'm used to it. So I have to be stronger." Reply with rigid.
I was so surprised to hear that answer from him.
Sometimes even a child can teach us a lot.
How can a boy this small who has no home, no parents and with all his shortcomings, he is able to survive and remain optimistic, calm and also strong to face the rigors of this world.
I then took the medicine box I always carried with me in my bag and took out the antiseptic and cleaned the wound in his hand. Then I put a bandage on his wound.
"Are you hungry?" My toot.
He nodded his head in response to my question.
"Can I take you to the nearest store?" Ask him again.
He also stood up directly. I asked him to hold my hand and take her to eat.
In this new town, he seems to be my first friend.
I asked him again, "what do you want to eat?"
"Anything." Short reply.
I bought him a burger, fries and a bottle of drink. I had never before seen the face of someone who looked so happy about getting food, as he had shown me this time.
After eating, I took her to a nearby store to buy her clothes and then she took me to a nearby park to show me that park where she slept.
It's 08:00 already...
I can't leave him there alone. I asked him again.
"Do you want to stay in the hotel with me today? I'm not gonna hurt you." My speech.
He seemed to believe me and he nodded his head. We then went to the hotel where I was staying.
Seriate....
