"From today you live with your mother in this house!"
Raffan gasped in disbelief at the request from the mother that was immediately thrown out quickly even when he and Deefa were just about to sit down.
"But Ma'am.."
"Your wife can stay here too, if she wants to, too" cut the woman sitting on the sofa in the living room of the house who still has their relatives and Raisya.
Not knowing why Raisya was still in his house and did the same thing since then, which was to stick to sitting close to his mother, he said, the woman who had just lost her husband even mentioned Deefa's name as if she did not want to be as if Deefa's name was too haram for her to say.
Raffan could hear a tone so cynical and unhappy even more so when the look of his mother's eyes that were still reddened by crying was staring reluctantly at his wife who was beside him.
"What mother can not talk about this later," said Raffan when he felt bad with his relatives who would surely hear what they were talking about.
"Can't, I want to talk now if you go home later," said his mother who had a hunch that her son would come home as soon as the brothers returned to their homes.
"Then we talk in the room only," Raffan invited still remain calm so as not to make his mother emotional which would instead provoke a commotion like it had ever happened.
Talking like this in front of the family is certainly not a good thing even more when each is overwhelmed with emotions mixed with sadness, Raffan felt that his family affairs should not be known by anyone even if it was the younger brother and relatives of his late father.
Although not talking, but Hayati moved from her seat to enter the room.
"Raisya is not our family!" forced to say high when his mother lightly took Raisya's hand to come into the room with him.
"It will soon be our family," replied lightly without feeling even as the daughter-in-law, the wife of her only child, was staring at her furiously.
Raffan wanted to be angry but he still really appreciated his mother, the woman who gave birth to him even though it was really very outrageous at all did not consider the presence of his wife.
"He's coming in, Raffan's not going in, it's up to mom!" raffan was firm, for him others are still others, while he just did not want his brother to hear and know what happened, he said, then why did Raisya who had no blood relation with them so freely move at home even his mother wanted to include the woman in their private conversation.
Raffan increasingly does not recognize his own mother, feeling very foreign to the woman who returned his gaze now.
Raisya was still holding the arm of the woman he managed to influence, the woman he had been smoking with poison words since last night to hate his son-in-law even more and he could see the results were quite satisfactory in this afternoon.
"Mom." Raisya's voice sounded soft, setting a trap so that anyone who heard and saw his sad expression became pity and pity.
Hayati gently stroked Raisya's arm and gave a smile of affection.
O God, honestly seeing what was in front of her made Deefa very envious, she missed her old mother-in-law.
The mother-in-law who welcomed her arrival with great warmth and affection, the mother-in-law who used to whisper her to help her transform a Raffan Alawi.
But now her mother-in-law was not even looking at her, considering it a shadow that does not need to be considered her presence, and the more sad and stifling it is, is, her mother-in-law did very well to the woman who really liked her husband.
"You wait a minute, I'll talk to Raffan first" Hayati told the future daughter-in-law.
A daughter-in-law? at least that's what he's hoping for now.
"But Ma'am.."
"Surely mother, after today you will be part of the mother's family."
Raffan's forehead shrinking, part of the family? whatdoes thatmean? how could Raisya be a part of his family? who is Raisya.
Raffan wanted to get angry but was forced to hold it with all his might even though his hands were clenched together showing blood that was already very boiling.
If Raisya were a man, he might have dragged her and kicked her out of her house.
With a heavy heart Raisya also stepped aside not to go inside just standing on the doorstep looking at Raffan who entered following his mother and then Deefa followed behind.
"The barren woman doesn't know herself!" Raisya said very sharply right in Deefa's ear.
Raisya's words really make Deefa jerked, she was like a lightning strike that instantly scorched her entire body and feelings, injured but she could not argue because what Raisya said was a fact.
Deefa closed her eyes and continued, ignoring the pain that came attacking like a bomb of enormous power.
In the room Deefa sat side by side with her husband, while the mother sat on the edge of the bed right in front of them.
"Mother has found a future wife for you, Raffan," then looks at the daughter-in-law, "honey candidates for me, but if you are not willing to be on honey you can divorce Raffan."
At this time Deefa felt for the second time she was struck by lightning that further destroyed her defense, making her shatter into pieces without a trace.
"Mom!" Raffan rebuked his mother with a tense and angry face.
Hayati looked at the child, "Raisya, soon you're getting married."
"Mas, isn't.."
"You haven't told your wife?" the mother became even more cynical and did not let her finish her words.
"Mum's enough, Raffan please don't interfere in Raffan's household!"
"There's no two years, you're getting married as soon as you can to Raisya, and you'll have to choose honey or divorce." turns to looking at his daughter-in-law.
What is the extraordinary fact that Deefa has become more and more self-destructive, she seems to have been greatly disrespected again, and her husband? her husband didn't even tell her anything about the two years her mother had refused.
"Mas Raffan never said anything to Deefa Bu" Deefa told the in-laws.
"That's because he pityes you!" Hayati said loudly not caring about the destruction from her daughter-in-law that she gave.
"Mother's outrageous!" snapped Raffan, "we're going home Deefa!" Raffan pulled his wife's hand to stand up, but she pulled him over.
"Why didn't Mas Raffan say?" Deefa raised a demanding staring face at the man standing in front of her with dewy eyes, a puddle of tears was ready to slide freely soaking her cheeks.
"Deefa." Raffan called his wife's name in great frustration.
"Deefa will help prepare for Mas Raffan's wedding" Deefa said with trembling lips.
Hayati smiled with relief at what her daughter-in-law said.
"Don't you go crazy!" raffan shouted loudly even the person outside the room heard clearly his voice.
Raisya smiled with satisfaction at Raffan who snapped at Deefa, smiling wider as Raffan pulled Deefa violently, what a spectacle that made her happy beyond measure.
With a face that was very angry and could not control anymore Raffan pulled Deefa's hand very roughly, taking her out of the room with a hardened jaw.
"Raffan, what's wrong?" asked wrongly as if Tanteenya with an anxious face.
"Raffan returned Aunt, assalamu'alaikum." the man did not give an answer instead chose to leave.
With a rude gesture he continued to pull Deefa out of the house when the brothers suddenly gathered at the door.
"Why not tell Deefa?!" in the car Deefa kept asking, not accepting when her husband did not say anything to her about her mother-in-law who did not give them two years to try to have offspring.
"If I told you what would you do? agreeing to what mom wants like you just did, do you?" said Raffan pitched ketus.
"You're either too good or you're STUPID!" raffan shouted in the car that had been driving.
His voice became really loud and uncontrollable due to the controlling anger.
