The House in the Middle of Sawah

The House in the Middle of Sawah
I am sick (2)

Morning arrives.

I've got room and infusion injections. His body temperature has also dropped. Last night Lik Diran and I did not sleep at all after arriving at the Hospital. I yawned a few times, while Lik Diran was seen sleeping while sitting next to my bed. Looks like Lik Diran is no longer able to withstand his sleepiness.

"Hooaaahhmmmm", I yawned and wriggled. Move away from my seat.

I want to buy some drinks to make it fresh. I'm out of the room. Down the hospital hall to the canteen. It's half-eight in the morning. The cafeteria was crowded with waiting patients who were looking for stomach ulcers. But I'm not hungry, I just need a drink. I'm heading to the corner of the canteen, grabbing a sinful, uh fizzy drink at the display cooler. Then pay it at the cashier's mbak.

I sat on a small park bench in front of the canteen. The morning sun warms me, soda refresh my throat. My sleepiness is a little healed. I finished my drink to the last drop, then immediately stood up from my seat. I want to see Erni. Mr and Erni were treated at the same Hospital, Regional General Hospital.

I walked towards Erni's room being treated. In front of the room were Erni and Hasan. They look good chatting. Seeing my arrival Hasan immediately greeted with a smile.

"Dani, how early in the morning have you been?", Hasan asked. I just smiled.

"Son Dani, how are you?", asked Mr. Erni kindly. I saw at a glance, Mr. Erni's smile felt a sad smile full of sadness. Naturally, his son was not aware even though he had been treated for several weeks.

"Alhamdulillah sir, good news", I answered softly.

"Sit here broo", Hasan asked me to sit in the chair next to him, I said.

"Then is this hour here you are?", Hasan repeated his question.

"Well, last night my father was sick, hospitalized here too", I explained, sighing. Feels heavy.

"Well, is it? What pain?", Hasan was shocked by my statement.

"Hot, kayak e ketapek an", I answered just the origin, because it does not know what you are sick, the results of the examination have not come out. Mr. Erni listened without comment.

"Semalem nginep here San?", I asked Hasan.

"No, I just arrived too. Ngantar maem the same dress Mr. Lik", Hasan showed a bag containing several change of clothes.

"Bulik e Hasan, Ibuk Erni will have to step into the work of Nak, she is a civil servant. If you work selling. While not selling first, wait for Erni. If there is a need to ask for help Hasan did not tell anterin so", his father Erni opened the voice to explain. I'm a mangosteen.

My HP is shaking, the phone from Lik Diran.

"Hallo Lik, wonten dhawuh (what's up)?", I picked up the phone, got up from my seat.

"The back is awake. You where? Cepet here", Lik Diran gave the order.

"Yes Lik", I said yes, and then Lik Diran hung up.

"I'll excuse you, sir, San. I did not go back to my father's room. Alhamdulillah said Mr. Lik Bapak had realized", I say goodbye to his Father Erni and Hasan.

"Thank God. . . Yes Nak. May you get well soon", Mr. Erni smiled praying.

"Amiiinn . .", Hasan and I am together.

"I'm with you, njenguk babemu", Hasan stood up, followed me. I nodded and immediately walked (half a run) to where you were in the care.

Arriving at the room where the Father in the care I saw the Father was being helped Lik Diran to drink. It looks like you are still pale and weak.

"Sir?", I called you, slowly. He looked at me, and smiled.

"Where is the Father?", I approached, stroking the elus of the Father's arm. Hasan was shaking hands with Lik Diran behind me.

"Have you called nurse Lik?", I turned to ask Lik Diran.

"Here, he said to come here. Soon the examination also came out", Lik Diran sat down with Hasan at the bedside.

"Have you eaten Le?", he smiled again, asking me. Questions that hit my heart. Even in my pain, my father was still watching me. All this time I thought you were a cold person, and didn't pay attention to me. It turns out my assumption was wrong.

"Already Pakk", I smiled in response, despite having to lie. Because I haven't eaten and haven't slept. I don't want you to worry about me.

My HP shook, this time the phone from Ibuk.

"Hallo. .assalamualaikum Buk?", I said my greetings first.

"Nrankingsalam. . . Son, piye Father?", Mother asked, her tone sounded riled up.

"Udah better Kok Buk", I calmed Ibuk.

"Thank God, . I'm just going to go there again. Let's get Lik Diran's work, get your bike. Later the bike wants you to use college", said Ibuk realize me, I have a lecture schedule today.

"Lha sister how is Buk?", I asked, remembering my cute little sister.

"Your sister is cheerful wae. She was the same as Ms. Minah. Ms. Minah is also able to momong your sister in the meantime", Ibuk explained.

"You go to college later. Lik Diran ya let go home first, later the mother who guards the Father there", Ibuk continued.

I'm speechless. Indeed, the only closest family currently is Lik Diran. Good thing Lik Diran has workers who are ready to help. Ibuk was an orphan from childhood, and had no siblings. The only ones who could be asked for help under these circumstances were Lik Diran and his workers.

"Yes Buk", I finally agreed to what I said. I hung up on him.

I heard a few footsteps approaching. Doctors and nurses were seen entering the room. Lik Diran and Hasan stood up from his seat. I took a few steps back, to give the doctors and nurses room to check on you. After a while, the doctor cleared his throat and turned to me.

"The patient's family?", asked the young doctor in front of me.

"I-yes doc. My son", I replied, reflexes while raising his hand. Aware of going to my konyolan soon I put my hand down.

"His father was just soaked. As much as possible, get plenty of rest. Fine food first yes", Mr. Doctor said calm and soothing. Then the doctor and nurse left.

"Thank you Doctor", I'm a little late to say thank you.

"Manyakin break Kang. If you can sleep yes, just sleep" Lik Diran advised you when the doctor and nurse had gone out of the room.

"Yes", I answered briefly.

"Want to eat sir?", I asked the Father, seeing the rations from the Hospital on the table, untouched.

"Later, wait for your mother" replied the Father.

"Hoah, lah. . yo kok spoiled, please wait to be bribed bojone to lah", Lik Diran chuckled. I laughed, while you were silent.

"Sir? By the way, who is Narsih?", I asked, recalling when Father was rummaging when his temperature was high last night.
