At 5 am the alarm goes off. Waking up with your head heavy. I will pray and pray at dawn, but I have not yet moved from my shabby bed. Next to me Hasan and Irul are still slumbering.
Recalling the incident last night, my hair bristled. It is still fresh to remember how the furry figure looked at us with a blank look. Last night we ran down the ridge. Our clothes were dirty full of splashes of dirt and mud, some parts of the body were painful and bruised. In our escape several times had to be toppled, even the flip-flops worn by Irul lost next door we did not ignore.
I think again if it's night or besuk I kebellet in the middle of the night how, obviously my nerve is lost unnoticed after the incident. Only this time did such a creature appear. There's been nothing like that around here, as far as I'm concerned. Recollecting my conversation with Febi yesterday in front of the house. Ah, shit my head's getting heavier.
"Hoaahhmm, come on" Invite Hasan to pat me on the shoulder. A little surprised I nodded, while Irul was awakened many times still hugging the unmoved roll.
After breakfast, Hasan and Irul return home. I loaned them both my shirts, because they were still submerged in the laundry tub, full of mud. Before returning home Irul had whispered to give advice to immediately make a jamb*n to urinate. I smiled hearing a pretty funny yet reasonable suggestion as well.
"See you on campus, assalamualaikum", Hasan said goodbye, waved and pulled his motor gas ahead of Irul who was still busy wearing a helmet.
"Waalaikumsalam, ati ati boss", I replied waving.
Just now these eyes were about to be closed, from a distance a faint sound sounded strange, like the sound of grandfather's voice muttering. What is that sound? I can't afford to have my ears reach him. Whether I was dreaming, or in front of someone, I don't know. I try to ignore it. These eyes are no longer forced to open. But it turned out that the voice was getting closer and closer, until finally the voice sounded very clear as whispered directly into my ear.
"WES EEEE'S WAYAH!" (It's time)
I flinched, woke up. Looking to the right and left, quiet. It was clear someone was whispering in my ear. Even his breathing really felt on my skin. Think and remember what the voice meant. Wes wayah? Wayah e what? It's getting weird I thought. I have to find out. I took a deep breath and breathed it out. Phewjh. . .
At nine I took a shower. I have school hours, but my priority is to see Febi. I really want to ask her advice. I don't know why I think Febi would be able to give me good advice. Hopefully . .
