Because of the incident that happened to Erni, finally announced through a chain message, the campus was closed for one day. Me, Irul, and Nita didn't leave the hospital. Both of Erni's parents look very hard hit by this incident. They were both seen crying waiting in front of the operating room. A few hours later the operating room indicator light went out, indicating the operation had ended. The doctor came out of the operating room, Erni's parents immediately rushed over. So did I, Irul and Nita step closer.
"Doctor, how's our son?", Erni's mother was seen asking the doctor, still sobbing.
"His father and mother are helped, but his condition is still unstable. It might take some time to make it come to a realization. Father and Mother please be patient. Do'a lot", replied the doctor was wise.
The answer that made us able to breathe was relieved. Erni's parents were seen hugging each other and their cries broke. I looked up, gave thanks in my heart, and prevented my tears from falling. I poked Irul's elbow, gave him the code to take him away.
"Where?", asked Irul half in a whisper.
"Fresh air", I answered in a whisper.
Irul nodded in agreement. I and Irul finally inching to leave Nita and Erni's parents. I still can't accept the fact that Erni, my heretic, experienced such an ill-fated event. What the hell is going on? There are too many questions on my mind that I can't find an answer. Huuhhh, I really need fresh air, so that this chest no longer feels tight.
As I and Irul walked down the aisle of the Hospital, we passed Febi. He seemed to be in a half-run hurry. Seeing me, Febi stopped her steps.
"And?", Febi called me.
"What?", I stopped my steps. I and Irul are now facing Febi. I really don't want to talk to this girl.
"Where is Erni?", Febi was seen biting the bottom of her lips.
"He survived. But yet unconscious", I patted Irul's arm, inviting him to leave this place immediately.
"Dan. . . ", febi clasped my arm, looking at me.
"I want to go out for the wind, you quickly look at Erni there. Temenin Nita", I spoke without looking at her.
"I'm sorry, I. . I", Febi's voice shook, stammering.
I removed Febi's hand from my arm. Immediately invite Irul to go by. Irul said, without commenting.
"Dani, you will regret!", Febi half yelled at me, and walked in the opposite direction to me.
Arriving at the parking lot, I stopped for a moment. Sitting under a shady catapult tree. Some of the leaves fell on the fish pond next to me sitting. A small well-preserved pond with several red tilapia fish is seen poking to the surface. I let out a breath. Irul followed, sitting next to me.
"Are you going to Febi?" asked Irul, who still did not understand the subject of my problems with Febi.
"I was disappointed in him", I answered short, still seeing some fish taking in oxygen on the surface.
"You dazed want to tell me the same story Dan?", Irul patted me on the shoulder.
I sighed, I reluctantly told Irul a little, why I was so disappointed in Febi. For me Febi is a barrier for me to be with Erni. How not? It turned out that Febi was the one who told Erni to stay away from me. Febi told me I was with him. Irul was just listening.
"Yes so you, like pretty girls", Irul muttered, as if talking to himself.
"Your bald son! The feeling that your playboy deh nyuk, gonta change a girl", I murmured.
"I just love girls, eeh . .for Febi has failed my first love story, apess", I shake my head.
"Yes brush with Febi. Beautiful girl like that who was rejected, stupid luuu", Irul pulled my shoulder.
"Emang e you . . play brush, it's about heart nyuk", I rented this time.
"Well, are you sure you don't have the same heart as Febi? Look out for nyesel", Irul looks at me sharply.
"Au ah, rather than this discussion mending we pray a lot that Erni cepet conscious, healed as before. Febi's problem, I still can't make peace with my disappointment", I stood up, the tilapia in the pond seemed to be hidden in shock with my sudden movements.
"Continue, where are we going now?", Irul asked, standing up.
"I want to go home first", I replied, approved by Irul, as soon as we left.
The sun was pretty hot this time. Irul quite speeding with his motorbike, but I do not care much, although many other motorcycles that honked his horn because of the way Irul drives. My mind is far away. Erni, I hope you get well soon.
