"I don't need to tell you, maybe you can see for yourself" Satria replied with a slight smile on her lips.
"That's why I hope you can make Amayra and her child happy" Iqbal said, smiling with no envy in his heart. Without Satria saying it, Iqbal also understood Satria's feelings for Amayra. He sees Satria's love and affection for Amayra, especially when Satria is jealous. Satria's feelings look very obvious on the hijab woman.
"You're not gonna ask again?" tanya Satria is still suspicious of Iqbal who has feelings for Amayra.
Iqbal shook his head, "I've seen enough. Mr. Satria, however, you need not be wary of me. I used to love Amayra, but now I don't have that feeling anymore. Don't worry, because I have limits on how to behave,"
"That is, if you don't like Amayra anymore. Why did you keep seeing him?" asked Satria hesitated.
"I saw it?" Iqbal was flabbergasted, he felt that he did not see Amayra constantly.
Satria replied, "Yes, you keep looking at Amayra with a strange look."
"I didn't see Amayra, but I saw Mr. Bram" Iqbal made it clear that he saw Bram, not Amayra.
"See Bram's brother? Why?" satria's eyes squeaked, she grew suspicious as Iqbal saw Bram.
"It looks like I have to go, because the misunderstanding is over" Iqbal said as he moved from his seat. He refused to answer Satria's question.
If I talk about my suspicions to Mr. Bram, I'm afraid this will be a slander.
Satria grew curious, she did not let Iqbal just leave. She asked why Iqbal was watching Bram. Iqbal finally answered honestly that he was paying attention to Bram, as Bram continued to look at Amayra and Rey with different gazes.
After the conversation Iqbal came home politely, Satria also looks more friendly to Iqbal like never before. Even Satria thanked Iqbal, because Iqbal had reminded him of Bram. His heart became calmer as Iqbal was not an actual threat, but Bram his own brother. He is the most dangerous threat and could tear down the Amayra-Satrian household by any means.
Iqbal has returned with Aaron, escorted by Mr. Muin. Satria went back to her room, she saw her wife sleeping while sitting and her head leaning against the wood of the bed. Her head was hit several times, she was seen waiting for her husband.
"He must have been waiting for me, until I fell asleep." murmured Satria while looking at the wall clock that showed it was 10 p.m. It didn't feel like time had passed long enough, since he had been chatting with Iqbal.
Satria approached his wife, sitting beside Amayra. His hand stretched out to caress the wife's cheek, Amayra's tired face clearly visible as she fell asleep. The woman did not even realize that her husband had arrived.
"I won't let anyone take you and Rey away from me. You are my life from now until forever, you are my family. The only place I'm back, because you guys are my home" Satria muttered as she looked at the sleeping baby R in bed and saw his loving wife.
Satria's lips gently kissed the wife's forehead, then she stretched out both hands and cupped his wife's body slowly. He put Amayra on the bed, put the woman in a warm blanket. Satria saw the head of the wife who was sweating, she intended to take off her hijab. They are still in Calabria's house.
Satria walked towards the door and was about to close the door, as she was about to close the door of her room. One hand and one foot held the nearly closed door.
"Who?" Satria asked who was holding the door.
"It's me" the heavy voice of a man rang out from the front of the room. The hand pushed open the door of the room until it opened.
"Sister? What'd you like to do, brother here?" satria asked in a cold voice. It turned out that his brother who came, with his hands carrying a big crackle no matter what it contained.
"This is for Amayra as for Rey" said Bram, handing over a large crackle of food to Satria.
"Food huh? No need, we do not lack food," replied Satria refused with ketus gift from Bram.
I knew it would be like this, I'm sorry, Mr. Aaron. Bram looks confused.
"It's not from me! This is from Aaron sir, are you going to reject him?" Bram looked at Satria sharply. I hope Satria will accept it.
Satria slightly scrunched her forehead and thought, if it was from her father-in-law. Then there was no reason for him to refuse the food Bram had brought. Satria immediately picked up the crackle, "Is this really from my father-in-law?" Satria did not believe it right away.
"L-yes, good night then, sorry I interrupted you" said Bram politely, while looking at Amayra who was fast asleep with Rey on a soft bed.
"Good night, brother and thank you" Satria shut the door right in front of Bram, even before the man left.
Bram was visibly annoyed by his sister's behavior, but he could only stroke her chest. Trying to hold back his anger, "Patience Bram, patience.Important Amayra and Rey have accepted it," Bram murmured with a sigh.
...*****...
In the middle of the night, Rey wakes up crying between wet diapers or drinking milk. Amayra also woke up, she saw her husband sleeping next to Rey on the other side of the bed. Rey is halfway between Amayra and Satria.
When do I get back to bed? I remember sleeping there. Amayra was puzzled as to how she could lie on the bed with a blanket. Ah, it's definitely because of her husband.
"Wee. uwee.." Rey whines crying.
"My dear.. why?" Amayra checked Rey's diaper, nothing wet or dirty. The diaper is still clean, but for the sake of comfort of the baby. Amayra changes her diaper with a new one.
After cradling and nursing her child, Rey goes back to sleep. Amayra also went to sleep, because tomorrow they will return to Satria's house. The next day, Satria heard the sound of the morning prayer ringing. In a hurry he woke up, seeing his wife and son still asleep. Satria prepared to perform dawn prayers, first he took ablution water. Afterwards he put on a sarong and came out of the room to go to the small mushala in the house.
It was a shock that he saw a man who had never been seen stepping his feet in the mushala. Satria looked at the man from behind.
"Sister Bram?" muttered Satria could not believe seeing her brother there was sleeping soundly. He also saw iqra books and prayer beads. What's her brother doing there?
Satria immediately woke Bram, and invited him to the morning prayer together. It is unexpected, Bram and Satria pray at dawn congregated in the mosque.
I don't know why I'm afraid to see Bram's brother like this. Has he really changed or is there some other meaning?
"What's Satria doing? Why do you see me that way?" bram asked as he stepped out of the mushala.
Satria couldn't hide her curiosity, "What's wrong, brother, I'm just wondering why brother turned out like this? Is brother-"
Bram immediately grabbed onto Satria's unfinished speech, "Yes, as you thought. I have another meaning. First it's because of Amayra and Rey, but second it's because I want to be a better human being" Bram said.
"Sister, I don't want to be hostile to you because of this. Amayra is my wife, Rey is my son too, can't you stop?" satria asked politely to Bram.
"You just pray that I can change my intentions to the second, so that I don't hope for my wife and children anymore" said Bram, who was confused by his own circumstances. His heart still has a sense of wanting to have Amayra, but if you think logically. That can't happen anymore.
Satria saw Bram go first from her. He sighed, it turned out like what Iqbal said that his brother still had such feelings for Amayra.
Don't think about it anymore, it's my afternoon, Amayra too Rey will leave this house and will not return. Satria does not want to bother with Bram, because he will return to his house with his wife and child.
But it seems to have to be postponed because something happened. When Satria returns to her room, she sees Rey waking up and crying. But Amayra, who usually wakes up when Rey wakes up and cries, still sleeps with her eyes closed.
"Wee..ouwee.."
"Darling, Mayra.. Rey wakes up, she wants milk." Satria held Rey, cuddling her a little to calm her down. One hand shook the body of the wife who was still lying. "Honey.." lirih Satria called again his wife. "Rey, dear, my son, I woke up my mother first" she told Rey gently.
Amayra did not wake up, her body was trembling like a shiver. Satria then held Amayra's forehead. "Astagfirullah, his body is hot!"
The man panicked when he felt his wife's high body temperature. Soon she prepared a bottle of formula and brewed it as much as she could, to make Rey stop crying. "Prophey dear, rich mother is sick again," Satria put a bottle of teat filled with the sufor on Rey's tiny lips. Rey sucked it like thirst.
Satria could not stand by as soon as he saw his wife was sick, finally he called the Goddess who was cleaning up in the kitchen. Satria leaves Rey to him, while she takes care of Amayra who seems to be sick.
"Please bi, leave Rey for a moment." the message to the Goddess with a panicked face.
The goddess saw panic on Satria's face, "Yes sir, don't worry."
Satria returned to her room, checking on her unconscious condition. "May, baby.. hey.. baby..do you hear me?" Satria patted his wife's cheek softly which was hot. The wife's face was pale.
He took a thermometer to measure Amayra's body temperature. "Astagfirullah," cried Satria surprised to see the number 40 degrees in the thermometer.
Looking at Amayra's condition, it seems they didn't come home that day.
