The middle of nowhere

The next day Alesse went down the river near the hill of Black Hall. He found some barriers that had been torn because of age eating. That was when his memories slowly returned.

He remembered the reason he followed the grasshopper to cross the river. Finally, he repeated what he had done before. He tried to cross the river, but nothing happened.

"Who? Why is there nothing here?" Alesse. He looked to his right side and found a pile of stones. "It looks like a former dam! Jawara, can you hang around here again?" alesse Pinta. Finally the stick on his back drifted to the bottom of the river and formed a bulkhead.

"Who? Concrete? Who put concrete in here?" Alesse was astonished, he tried to see his logo, apparently from the police.

Out of curiosity, he finally crushed the concrete with a drill formed from Jawara.

"Are you sure you're gonna destroy that? It can cause problems!" Jawara. "Just calm down, after my curiosity is gone, I will repaint it," said Alesse.

"I don't know how long your curiosity will last" Jawara said.

Haven't had a chance to see what was behind the concrete, suddenly the sky turned dim instantly.

"Hey, Jawara! Isn't this weird? I came here at about nine in the morning, but why is it dark? Or just my feelings?" Alesse.

"It looks like we're moving places by force! After I scanned within a radius of one kilometer, this geographical condition did not match any coordinates on earth. We are no longer on earth" Jawara said.

"Not on earth? What stone is that, by the way? It shines like a lamp" Alesse said. "From the temperature, maybe it's a chunk of ice. There is a human body in it" Jawara said.

"Human body? In the ice? It's like what happened to me first!" Alesse immediately approached the flaming chunk of ice.

When he saw the face of a girl wrapped in ice, he remembered something and immediately kept his distance.

"What's Alesse?" ask Jawara. "I remember a little bit of what happened before I went into a coma. Whether evil or good, this girl pierced both my ears with pointy ice!" Alesse.

"This is so awesome! Even though he was trapped in that ice, his body condition was really good! It was as if time had stopped inside that chunk of ice! It's like a time capsule" Jawara said.

"It looks like we need to go home first to make preparations! We'll start exploring this strange place tomorrow!" Alesse. He also invited Jawara back to his place of origin.

"How do we get back?" ask Jawara. "Oh, we should have appeared here! Maybe down here....." Alesse looked at the ground where he stood. Instantly the shadow appeared as if there was a puddle of water below. Unconsciously, he was already in the middle of the river. The sky also looks bright.

"Finally we can go back!" alesse said then went out of the river. Jawara remained silent in place.

"You why?" ask Alesse astonishment. "Don't you say you're going to recoup that broken concrete?" ask Jawara.

"Argh! If I close now, then tomorrow how do I go to that place? I'll shut it down if my business is done" Alesse said.

They eventually returned home and prepared plans.

"You want me to bring some logs? What's for?" ask Jawara. "Isn't it clear? We're going to set up a base camp there, also so we don't lose our entrance to that strange place" Alesse said. All day they were busy preparing the items they wanted to carry.

"Hey Alesse! What are we going to do today? By the way why don't I feel life at all from you?" ask Sandy.

"But! Your hands are hard! You're not Alesse?" Sandy is shocked to realize that what she is talking to is a lump of metal.

"Whatchu mean? She's not Alesse?" Salsha was also surprised. "Hm! It looks like today he skipped school!" sanay said, he already knows that the one sitting on the bench Alesse is Probe.

"Probe, what's Alesse doing? Why didn't he go to school?" ask Sandy. "Secret" Probe said. "I can break it down, you better tell me before I hack your brain" Sanay said.

"Guard and care? Does it sound like that?" ask Sandy. "Of course, he even let us continue to approach him. From the beginning he was a person who was not interested in interacting with others, even his own family. He does not understand how to read the feelings of others," said Sanay.

"Had to say such a cruel thing when Alex suddenly called him. Even his own family?" Salsha began to ponder.

"It's a pity that the boy, despite being a genius, but his flaws are very concerning" Sandy said.

"I hope he can recover from his illness. Double personality is not a trivial thing" said Sanay. The three of them finally contemplated the fate of Alesse.

"Finally our base camp is done! Maybe we can explore around because the expanse of land is still flat, there are no mountains so far," said Alesse while looking at the geological conditions of the tablet screen.

"Are you going to use the Levitate room?" ask Jawara. "of course! More comfortable driving it. Oh yes, for the name, Levy just so it is not too long," said Alesse.

The Levitate room that Alesse made is a cube that floats in the air, it is an ideal vehicle with walls that can change shape according to circumstances. He chose such a design in order to be able to relax while driving it as well. Sometimes he can also let Jawara drive it automatically.

Finally Jawara turned into a big cube, Alesse went into it and began exploring.

"Alesse, after I traced it, there was actually something interesting about the girl in the ice" Jawara said. "What's wrong?" ask Alesse astonishment. "The way her body works is exactly like Sandy's body. It does not need sunlight to live" Jawara said.

"Whatchu mean? Don't need sunlight? Many people who live without sunlight, staying in the room was not exposed to sunlight," said Alesse.

"Indeed, but for ordinary humans it raises a wide variety of health problems. While the body of the girl and Sandy, it is designed not need sunlight," said Jawara.

"Hm! If their bodies were like that, it meant that in this place there was indeed no sun! But why is the temperature here so normal?" ask Alesse astonishment.

"The air circulation here is reversed with that on earth. So, the heat produced is not from the top, but from the bottom," said Jawara.

"Even so, the sky here is not pitch dark, but there is no sun" Alesse said. "I have not found the source of the dim light, my scan has not reached the maximum height" Jawara said.

Looks like for today it's enough to get here first, we'd better go home. From earlier there was nothing special," said Alesse.

They were about to return, but Jawara detected his sensor removing the siren.

"What's Jawara?" ask Alesse. "It looks like I found traces of human existence here. Some traces of dirt and campfires," said Jawara.

"Finally after a long time! Could there be a settlement around here? I'm looking forward to it!" exclaim Alesse.

They did not go home and continued their journey. Unfortunately after hours of searching the middle of nowhere, they did not find any humans, just a few traces that humans had ever been there.

"It seems that for today to get here first, it can be concluded within a radius of 50 kilometers from the base camp, there are no human settlements, we continue tomorrow to tour this place," said Alesse.

In the end they came home without finding anything. Even so, Alesse remained curious about the middle of nowhere, especially because there were traces of humans who had stopped there. He came home with a lot of curiosity.
