Anne and the Geni Change

"Do you have to show up that way?" alesse asked, Kaa had just made her hard-earned items fall apart.

"I'm in a jubilation! Apparently my grandson is still alive!" kaa. "You mean the girl in the ice? I think Jawara tried to scan her, she's dead!" Alesse. "No, I'm more confident in Alex's abilities in this regard" Kaa said. "Oh? So he realized that the girl was still alive? Yeah, how you gonna do it again? We cannot continue to rely on this technology that is still evolving. There must be a lot of escaping from mistakes," said Alesse.

Shortly afterwards Geni went into the room with some snacks. "When have you been in this house? I didn't see you from the morning!" Alesse.

"Yeah, if I tell you, maybe you'll chop off my head. I deliberately hid until I could at least enjoy this meal. I don't mind if my head is cut off afterwards" Geni said.

"Look at the consequences of what you're doing, Alesse! It will not be long before the rest of you think like him! You should treat those people carefully!" kaa reminded.

"That's right, Alesse! You have to be careful! You can't stop us from eating all this" Geni said as he continued to chew on the snack.

"Okay, I raise my hand! I don't care what you're going to do anymore" Alesse said. "really?" Gord's voice sounded from outside the window.

"You were here too?" ask Alesse. "Who? I didn't know Geni was here either. I thought I was the only one out," Gord said unexpectedly. "I'm sorry, I kept it a secret from both of you" Geni said, scratching his head.

"It's not a joke, Geni! Are you going to continue being selfish like this?" reprimand Gord. Again Geni made moody by him, he also dropped the snack he was eating. Just then his clothes suddenly turned sky blue, as did his hair and eye color.

"You all suck! You think I want to live this way? Then who are you to rebuke me? You're not my father! I don't have parents! All this time I kept him down because I thought he'd be okay. But aren't you guys overreacting? If you feel bothered, uncomfortable, then what about me? Aren't you curious about my feelings too? Do I have feelings that need not be considered?" ask Geni with teary eyes.

Alesse, Kaa, and Gord fell silent despite Geni's constant sighing. They were still confused by Geni's appearance which suddenly changed drastically.

Geni began to sob and cry. Every tear of his eyes flowed, it instantly turned into blue flames and hit his eyes. He repeatedly complained of pain.

"Hey, Geni! Be calm! Your tears will turn into fire! Stop crying!" gord said, he was worried about what happened to Geni.

Unfortunately, the boy could not control it. Each time the tears came out, it made his eyes feel like they were burning. He continued to run uncontrollably due to the pain in his eyes. Gord was about to catch up with him, but Kaa intercepted him.

"You guys stay here, let me help her. Shouldn't you be caught by Alesse's parents?" said Kaa then went after Geni who continued to run without direction out of the house.

In the end Geni stopped at a river, but his eyes still continued to emit blue flames. Because of the continuous pain coming, he could not dwell anymore and fell silent on the river bank.

"Who's there?" geni asked, the blaze in his eyes growing more and more, making him scream in pain. "Calm down! It's me, Kaa! You need to calm down so that the fire can be controlled!" kaa.

"What do you want? Are you going to lecture me like them? I'm sick of it!" geni said in a high tone. The flames in his eyes were becoming more and more so, of course he felt pain with it.

Kaa went straight to him and held both shoulders. "Calm down, Geni. Simply be yourself, there is no need to force yourself for others" said Kaa.

The way she spoke made Geni feel calm. Of course because Kaa has often faced children who are tantrums and like to rage.

It was then that the flames in Geni's eyes began to dim until they were finally extinguished. "It doesn't hurt anymore!" geni was surprised. "If it's still hot, maybe you can wash your face in the river" Kaa said.

Geni tried to fetch water with both hands, but he was shocked when he saw the reflection of his face from the surface of the water.

"Si... Who is it?" geni asked while trying to get away from the surface of the water. "That's you," Kaa said. Geni also tried to take a deep breath and exhale it again.

"I know this! You're taking me to the Abyss Earth? Why?" ask Geni curiously. "There's something only you can do, I need your help" Kaa said.

Eventually the two of them arrived at the Abyss before Geni could realize their displacement. "I can never get used to this" he said. "No need to get used to it, I think it's an interesting part of the world gate. All around us that suddenly changed before we realized it, isn't it beautiful?" ask Kaa. "That's right! Then where are we going?" ask Geni. Kaa pointed at the burning ice in the distance.

"Oh? That ice girl? Don't-don't.... You want me to melt it? I often watch movies and read novels. I heard that such a frozen person can be revived as long as his body parts are not damaged! If I suddenly melt it, maybe we can't expect that!" geni said worriedly.

"Just calm! The girl was quite tough despite being trapped inside there for so many years!" kaa. "But! Why do you sound so proud? Who is it to you?" ask Geni. "Did you not know that yet? I used to tell this to Alesse.

"I'm sorry, I'm not a person who likes to pay attention to other people's conversations, especially if it's not interesting" Geni said.

"Alright, maybe you can take out all of your ability to melt that ice. Sorry, maybe we need all day to melt it down" Kaa said.

"I don't think it'll be that long" Geni said with a smile, he was able to let out a blue flame from his palm.

"Since when have you been able to control that?" ask Kaa. "You think I'll just shut up when the fire keeps burning my eyes? I also tried to control and reduce it" said Geni.

"Alright, if it can indeed make this work faster please just go ahead" said Kaa. Finally Geni started to emit blue flames from his palm towards that chunk of ice.

"Why it looks different from the fire that other firebenders have ever made, it's not blazing, it's like water gushing profusely from a hole" Kaa said.

"This is not an ordinary fire, in ancient civilizations you may rarely see a fire like this, but in modern civilization, a fire like this can be found in any workshop," said Geni, he can even change the color of the fire according to his will.

"I just found out the color of the fire can be very diverse" said Kaa. "Of course, the fire will change color if there are minerals that fuel it and it is also very diverse. I just... You know what? The girl began to open her eyes, but she was not fully aware. "Anne, welcome back!" kaa said then pulled the girl's arm, making the water bubble burst.

"Grandfather? That's you? Is this a dream?" The girl's still limp. He fell asleep right back. "Maybe it would be better for him to sleep in a comfortable place" Geni said.

"You're right, this girl has to go back to her family, but......." Kaa hesitates to take Geni with her to Atlas' house.

"Just calm down, I can go back to Alesse's house alone. You're enough to deliver it to his father" Geni said. "Thank you for your understanding, Geni! Are you sure you'll be okay when you get there alone?" ask Kaa.

"I'll be fine" said Geni, he was about to turn around, but Anne's hand suddenly reached his right arm. "You... Wasn't that boy then? Although it was slightly different, I still very much remember that face!" said Anne.

"Calm down, Anne! You need to rest, we'll talk about it as soon as you recover" Kaa said.

Geni leaves both of them and returns to Alesse's house. "I'm coming home" Geni said as he opened the door, Gord was already waiting for him and greeted him with a hug. "Thank God you're okay, we were worried because your eyes kept burning the fire. Is it very painful?" ask Gord.

"We? I thought you were the only one worried about me. Alesse couldn't have done it" Geni said. "You don't have to think about the kid" Gord said. "I'm doing fine. I apologize for causing a commotion, but..... can you stop hugging me? Why do you always act like this when you're not my father?" ask Geni. "Oh, sorry!" Gord let go of his embrace. He felt relieved because Geni's mood had improved.
