A body that cannot wake up

Alex finds Alesse's body asleep at the study table. He did not dare to wake her up because Alesse's face looked very deep in his sleep. Finally he just took a blanket and covered a part of Alesse's body with it after it came out of his room.

"It's weird, but it's still morning! How could he sleep so well?" alex asked in astonishment then started doing his routine in the morning.

After hours, he tried to check what Alesse was doing, but the boy was still asleep as he was at the study table.

"It's almost noon, why is he still sleeping?" Alex was a little worried because the boy never woke up. Finally he tried to touch his neck and found no strangeness in Alesse's body.

"I don't think he's so tired that he needs to sleep all day" he said, trying to wake Alesse up. Unfortunately Alesse's body remained unmoved despite several times he shook.

"Hm! Maybe he just wants to sleep so he can stay up all night. Very clever, he must be reluctant to sleep with me," he said then out of the room because he was bored.

At last the afternoon came while Alex was still outside the house for a walk. On the other hand, Andin and Hendra had just returned home from their trip.

"Why is this house so quiet?" ask Andin astonishment. "Truely, unlike usual Alesse's room is open like that," said Hendra.

Andin immediately checked into Alesse's room and found the boy still soundly asleep in his chair. Hendra followed him.

"Well! Whoa! How adorable! I haven't seen Alesse's sleeping face like that for a long time!" exclaim Hendra.

"He never showed his carelessness to us, maybe he forgot to close the door" Andin said. He closed Alesse's room.

"Hey! What are you doing?" ask Hendra. "I don't want to see her in a bad mood for forgetting to lock the door! We'd better pretend we didn't see it" Andin said.

"By the way, where's the big guy? Why would he leave his brother alone in this house?" asked Hendra astonished.

"Must be on a walk! He is bored if he continues to live in the house, especially in a house that is so narrow.... in fact, he always lowered his head when he was in the kitchen for fear of hitting the very low ceiling," said Andin.

"I wonder how he grew to that height? It's so unnatural!" Hendra. "You think your body size is reasonable? You are equally unnatural to be the size of an Indonesian!" andin. Hendra could only laugh while scratching his head.

Shortly after Alex arrives, the first thing he checks is the door to Alesse's room. "Thank God he's awake. Since morning he has been sleeping" Alex said.

"What do you mean, Alex?" ask Hendra. "I found the door to Alesse's room open and it turned out that he was fast asleep in the morning. Because it's closed now, I think he's up and locked his room" Alex replied.

"The one who closed the door was us" Andin said. "So... You mean Alesse is still asleep there?" ask Alex. He immediately opened the door and found Alesse still in his original position when he saw him in the morning.

"Hey, Alesse! When are you going to sleep? It's late afternoon!" alex said, he tried to shake his body, but Alesse never woke up, which was even his body fell down on the floor.

"Ofless? Alesse!" alex shouted in panic, he immediately lifted Alesse's body and laid him on the bed.

"Why doesn't he wake up? I thought he was okay" Hendra said after examining parts of his body. "That's right! It's been like this since this morning" Alex said.

Andin seemed so worried that, despite knowing that his son was still breathing, he could not ignore the fact that the boy did not wake up from his sleep.

"Maybe we should take her to the hospital! I'm afraid she's why!" abugn. They took Alesse to the hospital.

Unfortunately the doctor said that his condition was fine and suggested to wait for him a little longer.

Eventually the family woke up all night, hoping that Alesse would wake up from his sleep. But the boy lay unconscious.

"Please wait a minute, sir! It seems like a very rare condition. We need to do some tests to get more accurate results about the condition of the ananda," said the doctor, he took Alesse to the lab to do an examination.

How surprised the doctor was after seeing the inside of Alesse's body. All of his organs were in reverse position, leading the doctor to try to re-examine them, but the results remained the same. He finally told the boy's family.

"There is something I need to say about ananda's condition, he has a very rare and almost impossible physical condition!" the doctor said while showing some test results.

"Ti. is impossible! Why didn't I realize it? Is it because I've never seen it while I'm behind me?" Hendra looked very incredulous.

"Right, maybe because I just looked at it face to face so that I didn't realize that Alesse's heart was on the right!" said Alex. "What are you guys talking about? What's wrong with Alesse?" ask Andin.

"All the positions of the organs on the body of the ananda are inverted, like looking at our own reflection in a mirror. Which should be on the right instead on the left, and vice versa" replied the doctor.

"Are you kidding me? Is there anyone who can live like that?" andin asked while seizing Alesse's medical records.

"As long as the organs in his body run normally like a person in general, it should be fine. Just a simple question, does Ananda write and eat or move with his left hand? Usually if it's reversed, the dominant body part will also be reversed, and that's probably normal given the condition of his body like that," said the doctor.

"I don't pay much attention, he can use both hands to move. He eats with his right hand, uses a knife with his left hand, he can even write with both hands at the same time" said Alex.

"But! It's even stranger! You guys keep your cool despite having to witness all that weirdness every day?" ask doctor.

"As long as he doesn't eat with his feet, I think it's tolerable, after all we have a stranger child than he does" Hendra said, glancing at Alex.

"Maybe for now we can only give an infusion to replace the nutrients and fluids in his body. It looks like he hasn't eaten since noon and that makes his stomach acid slightly increase" the doctor said.

"Then? When will he wake up, doc?" ask Andin. "We need further examination. The case experienced by Ananda is very rare, we need to discuss with other doctors," said the doctor.

Shortly after Alex's stomach rang very loudly, booming in the room. The doctor was even surprised when he heard it.

"Haha! Looks like you're hungry too, son!" hendra laughed. "Master is sure it's the hungry sound from his stomach?" ask the doctor in astonishment.

"Don't I tell you? I have a stranger son than Alesse" said Hendra. "It looks like it's past mealtime, maybe we can go out for a while" Andin said.

"Will Alesse be okay?" ask Alex. "Gee, you're so worried about your sister, aren't you? Really good sister!" said doctor.

"I'm not her brother, I'm her sister" Alex said. Again the doctor was confused by the strangeness of the family.

"Oh, that? Indeed there are some cases of people having slow growth due to improper nutritional intake" said the doctor. "The growth of Alesse is not slow! He was only 17 years old!" andin said not to accept.

"Eh? 17 years? Then....how old is this sister?" ask the doctor. "15 years, doc! I told you we had a stranger son than Alesse" replied Hendra.

"Alright, sorry for offending you. Well then rest," said the doctor then immediately out of the patient's room.

"It's so annoying! He thinks we're a bad family?" ask Andin annoyed. "Calm down, maybe because you're hungry, so it's easy to get angry. We should immediately find food," said Hendra. Finally the three of them went out for a while to buy food, but as soon as they came out and closed the door, Alesse's eyes suddenly opened.

It was a pretty horrible sight since he did not blink at all. His gaze was so withered as if lifeless, he also remained unmoved despite lying in the hospital.
