Girl in the Ice

When she knocked on the door, Alex opened it. Seeing Kaa's face her mood became bad. "What do you want?" ask Alex.

"It looks like you haven't been able to forget that. I hope you've been okay all this time" Kaa said. "I'm fine! But your arrival destroyed it all!" said Alex.

"I thought it was just an excuse. You know that, right? My face is very similar to your sister's," Kaa said. "not again! Alesse is not a child like you," Alex said. "It's not polite! Even though it looks like this, I'm hundreds of years old! You better take back what you said!" kaa.

"Huh! So, what do you want? There's no way you came here just to ask me how I'm doing" Alex said. "That's right! I'm not that good! I was going to talk about your sister" Kaa said.

"What do you want to talk about?" ask Alex. "Your brother.... is dead right?" ask Kaa. Alex seemed so emotional that feathers began to grow all over his body.

"Once again you say that, I'll kill you!" he said while taking out claws from his hands.

"You can't pretend to be stupid about this. You made that lifeless body come back to life, that's the truth! Yeah, I can't assume wrongly that Alesse is now your brother. All this time you have lived as a brother and sister. I'm sure your real brother didn't make much of an impression because he died when you were a kid anyway" Kaa said.

"So, what do you want? Why are you so long-winded?" ask Alex annoyed. "Do the same! I want you to resurrect someone who's trapped in the ice, too. Let me tell you, it's exactly the same as Alesse. Arguably, Alesse was frozen by the same person as him. Maybe you can ask him who did it. Isn't that interesting?" ask Kaa.

Alex stared at the claws on both of his hands, he also stared at his burly arms and body. "Maybe I was just a little kid who didn't know anything, but now I won't forgive anyone who tried to hurt my brother!" said Alex.

"I really like your spirit. I hope it can make you forget about that terrible tragedy" Kaa said.

"So, when am I gonna meet that girl in that iceberg?" ask Alex. "Look down, not for today. The conditions are very unlikely" Kaa then flapped her wings and darted away to disappear from Alex's sight.

On the other hand, Alesse appears to be holding Yuki's mask and continues to observe her. Soon after, Kaa came to him. "Did? Where is that young man?" ask Kaa. "You'll know" said Alesse, throwing the mask at Kaa.

Before it could reach him, the mask instantly vanished in the air. "Did you....kill him?" ask Kaa. "It's so rough, I just injected him with a high dose of anesthetic.I don't think he would feel any pain because of it," said Alesse.

"Why did you do it?" ask Kaa. "You said that I couldn't control those people, but I think it's wrong. This is one of the ways I control them. Isn't simple? Just one injection to remove them from my presence," said Alesse.

"That's very risky, Alesse! You don't know what the consequences are if you keep doing that! I've reached an agreement with Alex. He is willing to do it" Kaa said. "Why would that kid want to do it for a stranger? Is he stupid? What deal did you make with him?" ask Alesse.

"You don't need to know, it's a secret for both of us" Kaa said, leaving Alesse.

Alesse finally returned home, Alex had been waiting for him for a long time in the living room. "I didn't know you could sit quietly on that couch" Alesse said.

"You're finally home too. Is this your usual self? I've always seen freaks in the house these few days" Alex said. "Usually or not as usual...isn't that just your judgment? I know what you consider ordinary and unusual from me" said Alesse.

"I thought this was the usual Alesse" Alex said, hugging Alesse. "Why all of a sudden....."

"God! Shut up, just for a second. It takes a lot of courage to hug you like this" Alex said. "Yeah, that's right! The two of us weren't so familiar until you needed to hug like this. Can release? I could die from shortness of breath" Alesse said.

"Sorry for that. It seems I'm too tight" Alex said. "That's weird! I know several reasons why you suddenly hug me like when you're sad, excited, or missing something. You've always done that since you were a child" Alesse said.

"I didn't think you'd still remember it, it embarrassed me. But why do you seem reluctant now?" ask Alex.

"You're not a soft-haired little cat anymore, your body is too burly and hard. What do you think I felt when you tried to hold me? I felt wrapped around a snake" said Alesse.

"Be.....is that so? I didn't know it would be that strong for you" Alex said. "Handering, it's just a parable. So, of the three reasons I mentioned earlier, which one is true?" ask Alesse.

"Three are right, then one more. Maybe anger," Alex said. "You're mad at me? It's rare to see you angry let alone admit it yourself. So, what makes you mad?" ask Alesse curiously.

"It's not about you, there's someone else who's making me furious. Anyway I won't let anyone harass this family" Alex said.

"Well! Whoa! Look at my sister, you're a grown man! Too bad I can't rub your head because you're too tall" Alesse said.

"Stop you two! You're embarrassing me!" alex said sebal. Alesse did not pay much heed to the two of them, he only wanted to return to the room to continue his work.

The next day Kaa came home, she took Alex away somewhere. A hill that looks uninhabited. "I don't feel anything special here" Alex said.

"Follow, this is where your brother was found frozen" Kaa said. "Why do you know more about Alesse than I do?" ask Alex suspiciously.

"Y. yeah, I heard it from Sandy. He is close to your brother" replied Kaa. "Hmm? that big-bodied young man? I don't like it very much! Isn't he too old to be friends with Alesse? Is he a class-dwelling idiot or something?" ask Alex.

"As an equally large body, you have no right to say that. I heard it was Alesse who stayed in class for two years, doesn't that mean he's older than all of you?" ask Kaa.

"Alesse is an exception, he doesn't look older than me" Alex said. As she was engrossed in talking, Kaa immediately pushed her tightly until she fell into the river. Of course Alex is not aware of that because Kaa is using her control.

Alex could only close his eyes, hoping not to hurt too much as his head hit the bottom of the river.

Even so, it turned out that what he was waiting for did not happen. Finally he opened his eyes and found himself somewhere else.

"Why did you close your eyes? Is it so terrible?" ask Kaa. "Why did you do that? You're like Ray who likes to do the unexpected!" alex was upset. Kaa laughed too.

"Before you were born, I used to do this to her. I didn't think he would imitate her" Kaa said. He starts walking somewhere, and Alex follows him.

"You are..... Have you really lived for hundreds of years?" ask Alex. "You still don't believe it?" ask Kaa.

"It's not that... it's just that.... It's really cheating! I didn't expect to live long, but why did I seem to age faster than Alesse? Maybe in five years I'll look older than my mom and dad. I don't want to live as if I were their grandfather" Alex complained. Once again Kaa laughed.

"Look, maybe in another year you'll stop aging, you'll look like that for another fifty years" Kaa said.

"You mean I won't age anymore?" ask Alex. "I'm not saying that, you'll start aging after fifty years have passed, so take it easy. Even when you marry a girl decades below you, they won't notice. As you can see on Ray's face right now.How old do you think he is?" ask Kaa.

"35 years?" ask Alex. "Eh? That's how you think? Then I'll keep her real age a secret. The boy will be angry if you know how old he is" Kaa said. "Is that all?" ask Alex to be curious. "I won't talk anymore. By the way, we have reached the destination," Kaa said as she pointed at the chunks of ice that appeared to light up. There was a girl who closed her eyes in it.

"Why is there a hull part? He seemed to be hugging something, but the thing he was hugging was no longer there" Alex said. "He tried to protect your brother, unfortunately he was divided and separated" Kaa said.

"Wait first! This girl... she was different from Alesse back then!" alex said as he tried to approach her. "What do you mean?" tanya Kaa was curious.

"This girl is alive! The circulation of his blood was even still going!" said Alex. "No way! Jawara even said that he was dead! Uh... wait a minute! Did you find anything different about her from Alesse when she was just discovered?" ask Kaa.

"I'm not so sure, but the chunks of ice on Alesse don't glow like this!" said Alex. Finally Kaa realized something, she looked impressed and laughed.

"This girl is absolutely amazing! It's unbelievable!" kaa. "Whatchu mean? What's so special about him?" ask Alex.

"Did you know that a waterbender can heal himself with the water he controls?" ask Kaa. "I've seen someone do it, I think it's a rare ability" Alex said.

"It seems like this girl used her healing abilities in order to survive inside this ice. I finally figured out the reason why Alesse's ice chunk was separated from him. Perhaps, he tried to save Alesse with his healing abilities, but failed. It makes the melted ice split in half" Kaa said.

"So, what am I supposed to do here?" ask Alex. "Hm! Looks like I mistakenly brought people, maybe we should go first. You've helped enough to realize that he's still alive in there" Kaa said.

"By the way, who is Jawara? Isn't that my last name?" ask Alex. "Eh? . Did I really mention that name? You're hearing wrong!" kaa said while scratching her head.
