The Guardian: The Elementalist
Clues

Kaa looked really desperate while searching for the whereabouts of the two children. He was not like Ray who could see the traces of living beings with his control. He could only guess where one of the two children had gone.

Despite trying to fly as high as possible, he only found the expanse of pitch-black land.

He could not see the broken earth, his head filled with fear, guilt, and regret. He thought he should not rely on Ray who has unstable emotions. He thought his decision at the time was a big mistake.

In that downturn, he forgot that he had to follow in the footsteps of the two children.

While sitting pensively in the middle of that scorched expanse of land, suddenly someone appeared out of nowhere.

"It's so sad for you. I was like seeing a little child abandoned by his parents" said the man.

His voice was very familiar because it was the voice of a girl. "Alice?" Kaa tried to check the face of the girl who asked her to speak.

"Do you miss me now? I don't think I have a strong impression until you can remember me" Alice said.

"You're...really mysterious!" kaa. "Why do you think that?" ask Alice. "You always show up and disappear for no apparent reason! Totally beyond prediction" Kaa said.

"Yeah, what else? I have a life somewhere else, not here" Alice said. "Where?" ask Kaa. "Actually not where, but when," Alice replied.

"Are you a time traveller Chron? It was an extremely rare ability among the Chron!" kaa.

"You're a little mistaken, but I'm a time traveler. I thought you were in a precarious state, why do you look so relaxed?" ask Alice.

"Geez! I forgot! There were two young men lost in the middle of nowhere! I have to find him" Kaa said.

"Hmm, this middle of nowhere? Isn't this the stupid Dark Warden? You better not get too close to him! He is just a destroyer, even Grand Chaos in the future never make this kind of mess" said Alice.

"Grand Chaos? Who'sis that? Is there a new figure in the future besides Warden and Chron?" ask Kaa.

"Oh, I forgot! Maybe at this time you call him the demon king" said Alice. "Ra... demon king? You mean the one in control of the entire human demon race?" ask Kaa. "Yeah, right," Alice replied.

"You kidding me?" ask Kaa. "I'm telling the truth! He's my grandfather, wait! He is my mother's grandfather" Alice replied.

"That's weird! If so, then you are also a human of the demon race! It is very surprising to hear of people of the demon race who oppose the Dark Warden, usually they have strong loyalty to a noble figure of their race," said Kaa.

"You call Raya Stephen a noble person? I don't mind the other Dark Warden, even a hundred or a thousand years to come, but for a person like Stephen Kingdom. I'm so sorry that I leaked a slight impression of the future towards her, I hope that you can change her disappointing destiny" Alice said.

Kaa looked very moody, she thought it was also impossible to resuscitate Ray's mindset. "So this is your purpose in coming to me? So I don't side with him anymore? What do you know about the boy? He had no one to support him until now! The only friend who believed in him has now vanished, not even believing that his friend is gone. He doesn't want to believe it! Isn't life too cruel for her?" ask Kaa.

"You're wrong, Kaa! I didn't come here for that. But those two young men you're referring to, I came here to help you find them" replied Alice. "Didn't you forbid me from hanging out with him?" ask Kaa.

"When did I say that? I'm just warning you because I'm not really on her side. Don't ever side with her when she's wrong" Alice said.

"I know exactly what to do in response! I've lived hundreds of years longer than you!" kaa.

"It's because of that! Ever since we spoke, I think you almost thought of him as your own son" Alice said.

"All right! All righty! I'll be more careful! So, how do we find Alex and Sandy?" ask Kaa.

Soon someone just appeared from the sky, making Kaa surprised.

"You called me?" ask the guy. Kaa kept watching him because she felt familiar with that person.

"Jawara, can you find the location of the two children?" ask Alice. "Location has been found," the person said with a flat expression.

Alice took out her magnificent wings, leaving Kaa stunned for a moment. "Wait moreover? Don't tell me, you can't fly with your wings?" ask Alice.

"Oh, ba.. alright!" kaa. She follows Alice flying somewhere, but she has a lot of questions about her and the person next to her. He could only shut up because he had no chance to speak.

After a few minutes, they finally found Alex lying in the middle of a stretch of wasteland, he looked unconscious.

"Jawara, can you lift it?" ask Alice. "Well," replied the man then changed into a burly man with a wide back. He lifted Alex to his right back.

"We go to the next place" said Alice. Kaa grew curious about the person who was with Alice, but again had no chance to speak.

They reached where Sandy was and just like Alex, she was lying unconscious.

"You wait here, it seems like in a few moments your company will come," said Alice, she was about to leave.

"Tu. wait, Alice!" kaa said, her curiosity made her mouth itch to ask, she even had time to hold Alice's arm tight.

"Oh, ma.. sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you" he said nervously. "You're acting so weird! What's the matter exactly?" ask Alice.

"Ka. you... Who the hell are you? For decades I didn't understand, but why do you always show up when I'm in trouble and keep helping me?" ask Kaa.

Alice was smiling. "I came here because you told me to" Alice replied. "A....me? Whatchu mean? I don't remember ever telling you to do anything" Kaa said.

"It's not you now, but thousands of years to come" Alice said. "Ri... thousands of years? Can I live for thousands of years?" asked Kaa, she didn't really like knowing that fact. Living hundreds of years has left him in agony.

"Hmm? Aren't you curious? Then live as long as possible! Keep on surviving whatever happens, then.I don't know if we'll ever see each other again in this time, but..... please remind me to help you from this moment on" Alice said.

"Why should I do that?" ask Kaa. Alice looked annoyed as she kept asking. "Therefore, live for thousands of years! Find answers! I also don't understand why you're telling me to do this much trouble" Alice said, trying to maintain her smile.

"I think for too long for thousands of years, I'm not sure if I can live that long" Kaa said.

"Make sure you can do it! And the times you find a figure that means a lot to you are thousands of years ahead" Alice said. Kaa laughed when she heard his words.

"A very meaningful person? What other joke is this? I've lived for hundreds of years, yet there's no such person in my life! Their ages are too short! No one can fill my heart" Kaa said.

"Who knows in the future your mindset will change! You won't know if you haven't tried yet" Alice said, caressing Kaa's face.

She swallowed because she was worried. "Try to live for thousands of years? Just for an unanswered question?" Kaa was doubtful.

"I'm sure it's not just that trivial thing that you'll get! Believe that! You even got to your knees when you faced me for the first time in the future" Alice said.

"You're this.. Don't tell me that figure means something to me that you mean yourself?" ask Kaa. "It won't be exciting if I answer it, you can find your own answer" Alice said. As Ray and Atlas have been seen from a distance, he simply disappears from Kaa's presence, leaving Sandy and Alex unconscious.
