The Forgotten Asmara

The Forgotten Asmara
The Story of Arjuna

Early in the morning, Juna came to pick me up. At 7am juna arrived. Although I did not preach it, Juna came to the house because he had received permission from his mother yesterday.

After saying goodbye to my mother, we both left immediately. I don't know where Juna's going to take me. I was a child born in Jogja, but I never knew the other areas. Other than going to school, I just stayed home. Sometimes I play at the niken house, that's my daily life. At a time when school friends are engrossed in playing when the subject teacher does not enter. I chose to go home. Because I have worked and studied, I know a little about the outer area. Even to the capital I already knew.

We spent almost an hour on the journey. Juna had pulled over his car in a yard, which looked spacious from the outside. There are a lot of little kids playing here too.

When Juna got out of the car, all the children came up to him and regretted it.

"Sir juna...." While running around the children simultaneously called out to juna, they laughed happily and cheerfully. They were welcomed by Juna.

"Sister, brother is a gift for all of you.. Let's go in first." All the children seemed to obey the words of juna. Juna picked up the box in the trunk of the car and brought it in.

Our arrival was welcomed by a woman who I thought was over my mother.

"Mother aisyah?..." Juna immediately regretted it.

"Juna, are you good news, son?" Ask ma'am aisyah.

"Alhamdulillah ma'am. Oh, this is romance." Juna introduced me I immediately greeted ma'am Aisyah without many words.

"Is this the woman you were telling me about?" Aisyah's mother glanced at juna while smiling.

"Yes mom.." Juna returned a smile to ma'am Aisyah.

"You sit down first, I'll make you a drink.." Miss Aisyah was about to get up from her seat.

"Thank you ma'am. This is ma'am I brought souvenirs for the children and also the mother."

"Mom should thank you, son. You never change, you always remember us here." Aisyah's mother drove towards the inside of the house. Maybe he'll go to the kitchen.

After the departure of bu Aisyah I immediately asked juna. I was curious about him. Where did I actually take him? Why am I being brought to this house? whatdoes thatmean? And whose kids were you?

"Sir juna, actually...."

"She's aisha mara's mother, and those kids are my sisters. Yeah, I assume they're all my sisters. Actually you could say this is the house where I lived when I was a child mara, a place where I grew up and was raised by bu aisyah. Until I grow up as good and healthy as I am now. Miss Aisyah is the person I consider to be my own mother." Juna cut my words and immediately at length told her story.

"Emmm.I'm sorry sir, I don't know. Is this an orphanage??" I asked her not good.

"Yes, you could say that. You can read that mara.." Juna pointed out of the house and pointed his finger at a Plank that read ORPHANAGE "AISYAH".

"Sorry sir, I didn't see it. So the big gaffer at this orphanage??"

"Yes, I'm a kid who doesn't know who my real parents are? They are alive or they are gone. A kid who doesn't know where I came from? I don't know if I have any brothers, uncles, aunts, grandparents. I didn't know it all. When I went to school, the teacher asked me what my father's name was? I can't answer that.. What I always answered was Aisyah's mother, I only had a mother named Aisyah. Yeah, he's all I have. I don't even know my status as an orphan or do I?." Juna took a deep breath and his eyes were now red.

"Sir, I didn't mean to...."

"Thank God your life is on the move, you still have your mother, sister, father even though you don't know where she is now. Clearly, you know your origins and your father's name. You see those kids up ahead? They don't even know who their parents are." I saw the kink on juna. Juna is so great he was able to live his life up to the point of the moment.

"Juna is a very strong man mara, when she was a child, she never asked for money from her mother. Even if given pocket money, juna always sets it aside and saves it." Ms. Aisyah came with two glasses of warm tea with one topless snack.

"Thank you mom..." I answered, I received a glass of tea from him.

"You know mara, when you enter Junior High School you can already find your own money. And when Juna High School got a scholarship for 3 years. I'm so proud of her."

"Mother, stop praising me.... It's all thanks to you. Without you I might not be what I am now..."

I just found out about the story of Juna. The life he lived was very difficult.

"Where is Juna going after this?" I asked in the car.

"home. Where are we going?"

"Oh, I thought... Let's just go home."

"Do you want to go somewhere else?"

"Ti.no sir." I replied limped, but somehow I wanted to go somewhere else with juna.

"Later, if you have more time. I promised your mother today. There's no way I'm taking her favorite daughter without her permission, is there??"

"Oh, yes sir. Alright."

"Are you used to not asking your mother's permission?"

"Ti.no sir. I always ask for his permission."

"Good, you're lucky to be mara. Never waste the old man. Look out there there are still many people who are not as lucky as you. Even if you feel the most hurt now, try to remember again if there are still people who are sicker than you."

Juna has always advised me. But his words are true.

"Emm, thank you sir for advising me. What about your offer?? said you wanted to help me, sir?"

"Hmmm.. Yes you're patient Mara. I'll help you soon." Juna looked at me and smiled sweetly.

I don't want to return that smile. Juna pulled his car over at a store.

"Sir, he said he wanted to go home? why stay here?"

"I'm hungry, let's eat first.."

"I can eat at home sir."

"Emm, okay then we just pack the food."

"Not for sir. There is plenty of food in my house. Mom cooked a lot. If you don't mind eating at my house..."

"Well, thank you for the offer. But we stopped at the fruit shop first." Juna got out of the car and bought some kind of fruit.

After finishing buying fruit, juna drove his car immediately to the house.

"You don't want to drive a car anymore?" I don't know why Juna offered me a drive.

"No sir, that's enough time. Come home safely I thank God."

"You have to train yourself again mara, when you buy a car you don't have to study anymore."

"Buying car?? Ah, my mind didn't get there sir. I don't even have a SIM."

"You can make it. I'll take you if you're willing. But let your mother go first."

The chatter for the sake of our chat was endless. It didn't feel like we had arrived at my house.
