The Finger Ring

The Finger Ring
Chapter 4

Chapter 4

The moon only glimpsed in the grass and shadow of its immeasurable, bottomless gloom, and it was swallowed every time by a jet shadow and screamed at the edge of a great well, to face a deep muddy ground that will sink him somewhere.

The light that appeared in the house suddenly seemed like there was a light, which finally he was able to reach the front door of the house. Of course the occupants of the house thought he was crazy, or just pretending. Like Constan thinks the girl's pretending.

Dygta covered his face and tried to recall all the events in his memory that were now cut into darkness. He believes himself to be called Dygta. Just Dygta? “I feel like I'm reborn, and it's really terrible,” Dygta said slowly.

“Do not worry too much about it, Dygta,” muttered Manner. “All it will be back again in time.”

“But why does it have to happen?” ask the girl in wonder. “What triggered it to happen?”

“It's called hysterical amnesia. According to the doctor. Semcam amnesia can occur due to emotional confusion.”

“Amotional confusion? What does that mean?”

“Well, a child could have experienced that. It could be the result of an incident in a messy romance, or frequent fights with your parents.”

“Parent?” There was a look of fear on the girl's face. “Why did I forget my parents altogether? It feels like never having parents.”

Manner smiled at him. “The parents are a pleasant condiment, Dygta. Where will we go without them?” Manner clumsily hugged the girl's shoulder and didn't care how she tried to get away from him.

“Well, let's meet my rather old grandmother,” invite Manner. “she will take all the pain in your mind.”

“She doesn't want to eat with us because she's on a strict diet. Well, he thinks of himself as making others lose their appetite for eating together, so he always eats in his room. But the grandmother was very personable.”

“as long as he doesn't think of me as your cousin thinks only,” muttered Dygta. “Are you not affected by the presumption of your cousin, doctor?”

Manner opened the door and his arm held Dygta in his arms.

“What a cousin's presumption is is only very small to me, Dygta. Constan was interesting and fun as a friend, but he admitted to having a much different attitude toward the outlook on life. She was cynical and always saw life sort of scenes in the staging of role art. However, he would leave such a nature. That's not good for him. How ironic.” Manner.

“He's cruel!” dygta lirih. “He freaked me out. There's something about him that scares me.”

“Dygta, Cons won't hurt you,” exclaims Manner. “Indeed he thought you were pretending, but behind it there was no malicious intent whatsoever. All his nonsense is better not to ignore it, because he will never stop acting.”

Manner turned to observe the girl's face, but it was clearly visible in the look on her face that was still unsure of what Dr. had just said. Peters. He has automatic memory loss there is interference from all his nerves. His nervous state was certainly also in line with his hysterical amnesia. Manner observed her pale face and interpreted that the age of the girl who radiated from the look of her face was about nineteen or twenty years. She spoke as a woman, according to Manner's grandmother's view of the girl. Even at dinner, he seemed polite. His eyes have their own charm, like keeping a mystery.

Manner is not a person who likes to fantasize, but by looking into the eyes of the girl and her sensitive face, causing a special attraction in his heart, really Manner became curious about it. Want to know about the girl's identity in detail. I don't know if he feels like a teenager full of high levels of curiosity. He looked at the girl, still dressed in simple clothes and a little messy. He was wearing flat shoes that he could get from borrowing one of Limin's collections that looked small.

“Maybe better tomorrow, I'll take you to Brinsham to buy new shoes with your feet. Looks like the shoes you're wearing right now are small, not to the size of your feet. The danger of using small shoes, especially often climbing stairs. Your legs will sprain,” Manner said as he opened the door for Dygta.

Unexpectedly, Limin heard the sound of their conversation.

Dygta felt his cheeks warm up, and gave off a reddish hue on his face in embarrassment of getting a look from Limin who denounced him as if he wanted to snatch the shoes he was wearing now. Dygta was eager to go straight across the beautiful room and appear directly to Limin, who posed like the Madam of the House here.

“Is she the girl?”

There was a heavy voice like an old man, and it was Peters' grandmother's voice. Grandma's eyes are like Constan Peters's.

“You Dygta, huh? Cute name,” said Mrs Peters. Grandma patted the chair as she continued her words,

"Sit here next to me and don't have a funny face like that. I'm not gonna eat you. You know that,” orders again.

Dygta nervously advanced and sat down beside the old woman. Then Dygta was startled and looked at the old, wrinkled finger. There are many beautiful rings that adorn the fingers of the ring. Manner's grandmother held Dygta's hand and watched him slowly.

“From this one there was once a ring, my son,” Grandma said tell.

“Ring?” Dygta was like a confusion looking at his finger that was still held by Grandma. Then suddenly it was like there was a speck of light in the darkness. Memory stirs.

“The ring? What ring do you mean, Grandma?” Manner snatched his Grandmother's words as he approached them and immediately held Dygta's hand. There was a trace there.

Manner also asked, “Awedding ring or wedding ring, Dygta?”

“What is a wedding ring?” said Constan who went straight into the room where the people gathered and took a position to sit. “Wow, the better the plans you put together. I think so,” he said again sneering.

“It was so exciting to watch together, Constan,” said Limin and his eyes were filled with a denouncing light. Soon Limin transferred his pandnag to Constan then to Manner.

“It was just discovered that Dygta had a husband. He is married,” Limin added while laying out his arms.

“It was still a conjecture and a possibility, Limin,” said Manner responded quickly to Limin's accusations. “With a look of the observant Grandma, found there are traces of rings in Dygta.”

“Which side's sweet day? Is the ring finger of the left hand?” constan said looking at Dygta's hand.

“The sign of the former ring in it does not have to mean the wedding ring,” explained Manner.

“Hah! That is your hope!” sahut Constan in a slow tone. Constan gave a tense atmosphere. Limin covered his mouth with both hands in shock and also rejoiced at hearing this conjecture.

Mrs Peters let out a long sigh as everyone started to get crowded with guesses that came to their minds.
