Chapter 13
Dygta was horrified all over her body to hear the truth told by Peters' grandmother. It was as if his blood flow had stopped, causing him to freeze.
Then the middle-aged woman said again, "His father did so before Constan's eyes, Dygta. Adam Peters did it years ago. And that's a curse for Peters' own family. And it was devoted to the Peters family, although the bloodline would instantly score a Constan-like attitude, but it would also print a Manner-like male. I'm not saying that Manner is a good guy, because he's not like that. But trust me, Manner won't hurt your heart. If it turns out that the ring on your finger does not mean anything and if only I really suspect that you have meaning for him. Ah, it looks like David's coming. He brought you your dinner."
Dygta ate his dinner without taste, so tasteless this time.He was so tired in him that he was dragged with a variety of strange inner turmoil, and after he drank his coffee, he was so tired, Dygta immediately got out of there and said good night to Mrs Peters, returning her tray of dinner marks to the kitchen, then headed from there to her room.
When Dygta returned to lying on his bed, he smiled to himself. He intended to leave the Peters family residence, but apparently had not exhausted his destiny to spend time in the Peters residence. And he knew the Peters family didn't know anything about him in the past. The two decide with trembling hearts that there must be someone holding the key to face the next day.
Dygta's eyes are starting to feel heavy. He also let the Peters family take over his body without any resistance from him. He soon fell asleep too.
Constan that night did not return to the Peters family residence in Devon.
Manner explained to Dygta that Banker that night was getting incentivized treatment and he is now in care at Brinsham.
...****************...
Manner smiled as he smeared his bread with butter and peanut butter.
"Cons, it's Lucy. Sometimes he's really stubborn. He borrows a butut bike from Jess Holt's (Banker Veterinarian) warehouse which he will use to commute from his cottage to Brinsham to see his beloved dog."
Then Manner put a bread polisher on the dinner table. Every time he smiled at Dygta he always said, "You can come with me to feed the marmots. Are you ready?"
"Of course." It doesn't take much thought to answer that question for Dygta.
"Are you an animal lover, Dygta?" At once, Dygta nodded his head.
"That's what I told Constan, when I was in the car on my way to Brinsham last night. The stubborn one thinks you're scared of Banker. And tell Dygta, did you see Constan earlier that afternoon, so you sneaked out of the house and didn't show up at dinner?"
Dygta clutched his fork and knife nervously, "Yes, I saw him. I'm...."
Dygta looked up and his eyes filled with guilt towards Manner. "I don't want to talk about it. He didn't like me and... We always fight every time we meet. That'sallthatis. Now let's go to that marmot place."
"What are you guys discussing?"
"It's just trivial things, and it doesn't matter."
"I won't hold back if he's rude to you, Dygta!" Manner's attractive bluish eyes scanned Dygta's countenance, "He was so reckless about what he said to others. Especially if he's disturbed in his mind."
"Manner, it doesn't matter, trust me." Dygta smiled and his hazel-green eyes glowed.
"Very interesting."
"Is there nothing else you're doing?" manner laughed and Dygta looked at him. Blonde hair and smooth skin was hit by the morning sun that makes Manner today look bright, fresh, and beautiful.
When Manner held onto Dygta's arm, then he pulled it closer, there was no resistance from Dygta.
"Dygta" Manner said, hugging Dygta's body carefully so as not to frighten him. "Dygta, do you feel like a little bird? I want to lock you up, and I don't care who you are or where you come from."
"Ha ha ha," Dygta chuckled in response to what Dr. That peters. Dr's Hands. Peters is warm and fun.
They continued that conversation. Manner loosened his arms and stroked Dygta's black hair affectionately, and Manner's lips clung to Dygta's cheeks and he also kissed Dygta's lips.
"No!" Dygta panicked as if struggling. "Oh, no! Let me feed that marmot."
"I'm not going to hurt you, Dygta!"
"Please let me go, Manner! Untie me. I'm not. Let go of me." Dygta's face turned deathly pale, and Manner was immediately aware of what he had done to Dygta. He immediately retreated with half-cursing himself.
"I'm sorry, Dygta. I didn't mean to scare you. Excuse me. Come on, we feed the marmots" said Manner regretting his actions.
They walked side by side, as if nothing had ever happened between the two of them. But when he got outside, he didn't find Manner cursing himself.
"I am what should be forgiven. I'm the ungrateful one" Dygta said lowered his head.
"Thank you?" Manner looked at him full of question marks. "Dygta, what are you saying? I'm not looking to thank you for what I've done. For God's sake! I forgot that you have amnesia, I forgot that there was a ring on your ring finger, which could have been a man's" Manner said.
...****************...
In that one week, they talked about Banker. Constan did not come to Peters' main residence in Devon. Not with Limin. Instead the girl turned out to have a lot of free time, because Manner more ask Dygta to take notes, also doing correspondence with other researchers. Dygta also did not mind to help Manner in replacing the temporary Limin job.
Of course, it was difficult for Dygta to match the abilities Limin had. Dygta had no such ability before and had never been a secretary before. Dygta will not be a secretary.
He took notes with ordinary writing, so it was slower in writing. And he was also not used to typing systematically.
Manner laughed at Dygta. Dygta is restless because he has not found out who he is and his true identity, where he came from, and what work he has done.
Ever since Manner wanted to kiss him*, Dygta felt uncomfortable towards Manner. Since then he has kept his distance from Manner and always imagined the words said by the doctor.
"that he has possessed someone."
