Chapter 23
An hour later.
The hot chocolate available in the cup has vanished drunkenly by Dygta The cool atmosphere is indeed suitable to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. The rain outside slowly halted its activity. Soon, Constan escorted Dygta back to Peters' house. The road taken by Constan is through the main street of the city of Brinsham. They just walk in tandem.
The wind passed by quite strongly, thus making the coat worn by two different people of that type flutter. Cold ambushed Dygta's body, then he tightened his coat with the pull of both arms. Collar coats were raised to cover their necks. Bankers don't want to stay home alone. He followed the two men walking behind them.
On their way to Peters' house, Constan asked, "What are you going to do next?"
"I'll say it, and return to the group event which is directed by Downline. I can't do anything even to choose for my life ahead" Dygta said.
"You're coming back to perform?" Dygta found it difficult to see Constan's facial expression due to the absence of street lighting. The light on that road only had a dim light capable of illuminating a bit of the highway. The wet road, makes it a little scary.
"Is that the only way that comes to mind? Manner might have other plans for you. Did you think about that?" ask again with a smile hidden behind the dark path.
"Yet. I haven't thought about it." Dygta immediately thrust his gaze into the empty and dark highway. "I am not a girl who is crazy about wealth and uses the opportunity to dredge it to enrich myself. I'm self-aware of that" he continued.
Constan exhaled his breath. The wind blew on the two of them and a dog behind them.
Dygta's face was already flushed with cold, the wind that night was cold even though the rain had stopped perfectly.
"I'm sorry" he said suddenly. He remembered the absurd thing in his mind, when the rain hit, Constan pulled him into his arms. However, it was only for a moment, which was able to make Dygta's heart beat fast. He decided to run away from that momentary embrace. And again, Constan saw himself copying himself in Constan's dry clothes, even if it was just dimly lit.
"Why are you apologizing, is it because you avoided me by running away?"
"No! You know what it means" Dygta said.
Constan laughed when he heard that. "I don't understand why you called me "Mr Peters"? Is it because you're huffing? Or are you not comfortable calling me "Constan?" ask again.
Dygta's cheeks flushed hearing that. Why is just a nickname so complicated? Sucks. Dygta just kept quiet did not answer what Constan said.
"Do I have to kiss you again so that you don't call me by your call?"
Dygta kept his mouth shut tight and Constan laughed out loud for a moment. "Don't worry, I don't repeat what I did in my cottage."
They stopped right in front of Peters' house. Actually not how far away is the residence of Peters with cottage Constan, maybe about eight hundred meters.
"We have arrived. I'll just take you here. I'll make sure you're safe to put your foot back on" Constan said.
"Thank you for driving me."
"Back of love, Dygta." Constan turned around and walked away while calling Banker to follow him home. Not forgetting Constan waved his hand at Dygta as Dygta still watched himself go by.
The door handle moved, then the wood moved slowly.
"Miss, please come in. This is the weather condition all day. Just stop for a second" said David, the butler.
"yeah. It's chilly. The real storm is coming" said Dygta, looking around him. That night only the front door opened wide, coding itself immediately inside.
"really. A really bad wind storm will occur and destroy all the contents on the ground" said David. "It's a good thing we're here, on high ground. While the settlements are on the coast, will not be safe with the arrival of a storm like this. Sea water can also hit the guardrails to enter the settlement," he continued, lifting both shoulders.
"It is likely that there will be flooding there before dawn" he added.
Dygta only thought about the incident and prayed that there would be no flooding in the area. He went deeper into the house. Holding tightly his body shivered.
"Miss, the Doctor came in time, Miss," said David remembering that Manner had returned. "He was on time to return from Plymouth from twenty minutes ago. If you want to see him, I think the doctor is still in the living room with Mrs Peters" said David, stressing on the word he wanted to see her.
Dygta didn't want to answer David's words. It's going to pass from there soon. He only wanted to head to his current room before the rest of the house found himself, which was especially so for Manner Peters. There's a lot to tell, but it's not a good time to talk about important things or tell them.
Dygta ran up the stairs quickly. Lose quickly, just rung the second step, the door of the family room opened. There were footsteps that slowly came out and raised his body behind the open door. The look in his eyes found a body figure that was still running up the stairs.
"Where have you just appeared?"
Dygta, who had wanted to move his feet to the next step, threw himself away to hear the rant. Instantly, he turned to the source of the voice and in his ear the voice that echoed was the voice of Limin. The spotted limin looked at Dygta with a strange look in the clothes worn by Dygta.
"You look a mess! Where have you been? Didn't you have dinner together?!" his comment.
"I was caught in the rain" said Dygta, standing on the stairs, looking down at Limin.
His hand was clenched in the pocket of the jacket he was wearing. He turned around and then stepped his foot.
"I'm going to change this outfit. It doesn't matter that I don't have dinner together" he continued. He didn't want to hear anything from the girl's mouth.
"Manner has returned from his conference. Did you know?" scream Limin.
"Yes. David told me."
Dygta really went from there. Open the door to his room and enter.
"I wanted to tell him that Manner was worried about him. Huft ...," muttered Limin gazing at Dygta's departure from under the stairs.
