Chapter 16
"Everybody here is old! Everything is old and expired!" lamented Limin. "Now, what's your plan? Does your plan also include Manner?" ask Limin to Dygta.
"How can I plan my future without knowing what my past is?" sahut Dygta's.
"Then say something else. Did you run away from the Peters family residence when you found Banker back then?" tanyanya Limin while observing Dygta.
"How can I think about that, when I come back," said Dygta looking back at Limin's gaze.
"Yes, I know, you're back. Who exactly is the one you can't leave, Constan or Manner?" Limin's eyes continued to observe Dygta. He smiled faintly as he watched Dygta sigh long.
"You ran away, then came back, brought the dog. You looked like you were in a shudder that afternoon when I saw you."
"Of course I was confused and in the turmoil of that time," Dygta was already gasping for breath answering Limin's question. "Who would ever see such a wounded animal?"
Limin laughs are not funny. "Especially because the beast belonged to Constan, huh? Son, I'm gonna tell you something that maybe Constan was very grateful to you that night about what you did, leading him back home. But don't get me wrong, to think about anything else but that. Your vantage in the swampy meadows is not an attraction that can lure him to sympathize with you."
"I had no intention of luring him," Dygta almost fell over and immediately kept her balance. "How do you say such a thing? We all know that Constan doesn't like me. You were in the living room that night, and you heard all Constan said to me."
"And what did he say to you that Saturday night?" limin asked deliberately to recall what Constan had said.
When Dygta did not reply, Limin approached him and the perfume he was wearing really came to the surface.
"Look over here and look me in the eye, Dygta. We'd better be blunt, you've got Manner in your arms with the fishing rod you've been using all this time, and Manner's been trapped and lulled in your trap. But I didn't. If you make Constan your target too, I will warn you, do not make Constan a star beast that can pounce on you and eat you alive. And I can not only speak rudely to you, but also be rude."
Limin's words were undoubtedly clear that he was not just playing with a proactive attitude and a bright lip, he was showing hatred blatantly.
"I don't think I'll ever know how you gouged your eyes at Constan that Saturday night. Well, I saw it for myself. You should know that Constan is different from Manner. Because the word "no" is not included in the dictionary. You can say it all the time until your pet is back in your arms." Limin laughed meaningfully.
Limin justifies her groomed hairstyle, and spreads the perfume she currently wears from her body as well as showing her slim body shape.
"Of course, you know, that I speak based on experience. You do realize that, don't you? You realize that I, have a bond and I have the right to express my displeasure at your interest in Constan!"
"I have no right to do what you just accused me of!" dygta. He turned his back to Limin and wanted to leave because he was sick of hearing the words that came from his sweet mouth. Also the way the girl showed off her curves.
"Where? To the swampy meadows? Isn't that where you come from?" the word Limin mocked Dygta.
The breeze hit Dygta's hair and the coat he was wearing, like whispering the pain and loneliness he had felt all along. Limin said those scathing words, but what if they were the secret keys to his lost past life memory? Who knows on a steep slope, where birds squeak, where the lost past can be rediscovered?
Suddenly there was a warning sound inside Peters' house, Limin threw his cigarette butts.
"It's weird that you're suddenly here. If you think about it, like the movie scenes in the dramas come in your sandal shoes full of mud, out of the swampy meadows, and come here. How long have you been here? Surely you've been over a month, right? Strange.." The word was spoken full of pressure. "Funny, no one is busy and excited about losing you, so leave you in Manner's hands. I'm sure the guy sent you wrongly to Peters' house, and there's not even a return address."
The words continued to ring on Dygta's head until it was time to eat dinner at the dinner table. And then move on to the family room. After that, Limin borrowed the keys to Manner's car, in which a small car Limin borrowed and he immediately left the Peters residence.
"I think he went to see Constan" Mrs Peters told Dygta.
Manner closed the door with a smile, looking at them with an approving look at his grandmother's words.
"I don't like Constan marrying that woman. She was beautiful, but." said the grandmother again.
"Limin did not say that he went to the religious office to take care of his marriage papers. And I'm sure he'll have a problem taking care of it" Manner laughed.
He went to the table and turned on the portable radio. Music filled the room. It was unexpected that Manner extended his hand towards Dygta to ask her to dance together.
"Will you dance together?" ask Manner.
"I don't think I can dance" he said, avoiding her.
Mrs Peters thought of the drama that Constan always did, "It's a shame that this time there was no filming or Opera drama that Constan could do. Do you know when the rehearsal will open again and start with a new drama, Manner?"
"He told me that time would be as soon as they found someone who might be acceptable to the audience, as his son. The child must be about twenty years old. Because the twenty-year-old children do not have experience playing acting either while filming or on stage while playing Opera. And have to have a baby face for it" Manner told his grandmother.
"Well, Constan himself was only thirty-four years old. If he plays the role, he still looks younger than his real age. And he got the role of a father. Maybe that's what led him to become interested in Limin, a kind of psychological need to feel like a father."
