Chapter 3
The twilight was that day. Limin held his wine glass with a beautiful smile looking at Constan at the dining table.
“Do you regret having taken a vacation from your job, Constan?” ask Limin.
“To be honest, yes, little,” sahut Constan smiled. “A drama that has been held for two and a half years has become my habitat, like playing a romantic drama casting. Especially at the end of a farewell scane in the drama, there will definitely be scane both men and women will kiss their lips to signify separation although not all like that, he said,” Constan smiles in his sentence which immediately looks at the bright blue Limin netra. Indeed, his eyes are one of the attractions to lure someone to be interested in him. “You are really too interesting with as a secretary,” Constan added.
Limin's cheeks turned red instantly, and he immediately glanced at the girl sitting to the left of Constan. The girl just looked down and stared at the plate in front of her without her touching it. Before long Limin was looking at the girl, for a moment he looked forward. Just then, Limin's bluish eyes met. Stare in the fierce that indicates he does not like the girl. The girl's proposal was no less fierce against Limin. It was obvious that his facial lines were hard and stiff.
Suddenly Manner said facing towards Dygta. “Are you not hungry? You can eat as much here.”
Dygta somewhat wavered his gaze to Limin. “No. I'm not too hungry, Doctor Peters.”
Hearing that word, Constan immediately looked towards that pale skinny face. Ever since the dinner began, he had not spoken at all except to nod his head as he was introduced by Manner. The low voice with the melodious sound shocked Constan.
“Didn't you enjoy this dinner with the menu available on the dining table at the moment?” ask Constan.
The pale girl's face looked at Constan and saw a curious attitude towards him. “Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.”
“Really?” constan said with his lips turned slightly upwards.
“After your question that only made him awkward and lost his appetite, Cons,” Manner said sharply to respond to his annoying cousin with his mannerisms to his absurdities.
Constan just shrugged his shoulders and looked back at Limin who was right in front of him. “If tomorrow if you are allowed to take a leave of absence, I will take you to the cottage I just bought. How's Manner? Are you going to give Limin permission to go with me?” ask Constan.
“Come, Manner. Allow me to take a day off,” said Limin looking at his master to get permission from him. “Can I go along with Constan. I'll work the next day if I have something to do. Even if it's on a weekend.”
“Why not to cottage on weekends only? Saturday or Sunday?” manner said flat-pitched.
“I will that day start transporting my things. Will be busy moving. I sent some furniture from London to my new cottage,” Constan explained.
Then Constan raised his glass with a smile on his face, “Let him take a day off from that hectic and exhausting job, Manner. I will return it intact and will not be deformed in the slightest. This is my promise to you.”
“You're really a teaser. Just interrupt!” Manner laughed softly. “Alright, I gave him to you. But only for tomorrow!” Manner finally gave Limin permission for tomorrow's leave.
“Ah, so. Thank you, Manner,” Constan said slowly. “You heard that, Limin. You are entirely mine tomorrow,” he continued staring at Limin.
“Thank you, Manner,” said Limin with a fluffy smile on his lips. Limin's earrings swayed interestingly because of the spirit displayed by him.
Constan was very happy and content to bash the girl next to him when she was caught looking down and shedding her tears. Suddenly the girl rested her back on the dining chair, and before long she got up from the chair and ran away. Manner who saw it immediately pushed his chair back and got up to his feet following Dygta who ran while cursing words from his mouth.
“Well, are you happy now, Constan?” tanya Limin smiled seductively.
Constan just raised his forehead, “What are you doing?!”
“You saw it earlier.”
“itu bad.” Constan raised his wine glass again and observed it slowly, “Do you want me to make you cry if I look at you, Limin?”
“You look at me not like you look at that poor boy,” argued Limin with a satisfied attitude. “And if you do that exactly as before, rest assured I will melt my tears for you, Constan,”.
Limin stood up from his seat while dropping the napkin beside his plate. “I'll go to the family room to have a casual chat with grandma,” Limin's permission.
If Manner had come back, his mouth would have nagged. Really Limin, you kicked his beloved cat.
“Wait a minute, Limin,” said Constan and got up following to step towards Limin from behind. Then Constan held onto Limin's smooth and soft smooth arm. “Is Manner really captivated by the girl?”
Limin raised his head with his blond hair. “I guess, that special creature evokes a sense of protection in Manner to rise up,” he replied with a rather wicked laugh.
“Manner is poor! But my foot you step on,” exclaimed Constan roughly. Then Constan pulled Limin closer to him while saying, “How exactly does it feel to protect it can appear?” Constan kissed her nape then Limin's eye. “Why don't you make me protect you, baby?”
Limin blinks his lips and detaches himself from Constan. “I didn't expect to be like him.” instantly Limin bolted away from the room, he only heard the sound of Constan's laughter mocking him with a duration that was long enough to pass and the voice was no longer heard.
“He thinks I'm a fraud, right?” Dygta stood close to the library table, wiping away the tears that fell from his two eyes. He greeted her with a handkerchief that Manner had given him. Dygta saw Manner's displeased facial expression and Dygta immediately changed his sentence, “I don't think I can be here much longer, Dr. Peters. Maybe I should just go to the hospital.”
“This is my house, Dygta. Not Constan's house!” manner's professional eyes as a doctor looked at the little girl in front of him, and he frowned at the doubt within her. “He's here for just a day or two, hey little boy. He will move into his own cottage on Saturday. You heard the words yourself, right?” said Dr. Manner smiled at Dygta. “Do not worry because of him. Constan has such a weird humor. You know, if he succeeds with that weird humor, he's gonna get excited and he's gonna be more and more into launching his next attack. Trouble is, he really likes excessive praise that is always thrown at him. Well, admittedly, he was really great in his career and became a successful actor in the art of his role. But please, don't tell him,” explained Manner.
“I have no desire to tell him, Dr. Peters,” said firmly. “I guess I won't like your cousin that,” he added.
Manner laughed at the babble from his little girl.
