The Finger Ring
Chapter 19

Chapter 19

"Do you think I have some hidden intentions in the invitation to tea?" ask Constan.

"You don't have that intention, do you?" Dygta made sure what Constan said was true.

"Yes. I felt lonely" replied Constan who saw Dygta rubbing the sauce on his left lip.

"Oh!"

"Oh?" sahut Constan scoffed and widened his eyes staring in wonder at Dygta. "Did you not believe that I was afflicted by anything human?"

Dygta ventured into the netra Constan, seeing something rather timid, and Dygta had realized that it was a confession she could not just make to anyone.

His loneliness as a rule of his own and is his personal secret. He suddenly opened his personal secrets to Dygta heart to heart. Dygta gave a quick smile so that the shame she experienced disappeared.

"I believe you can be like Manner, be kind and caring, if you want to do it" Dygta said.

Now on Constan's face was a mocking expression, "I don't think we're going to argue about the goodness of my heart. I'm not kind." Constan got up and walked around for a while, then sat back in his chair. Dygta took a Chiantian* glass and drank it. Constan continued to observe Dygta, and scored little against Dygta's thin arms as a teenager.

"You're a strange girl!" exclamation Constan. "I've been so unfriendly to you so many times, and why didn't you refuse me when I brought you here?"

For a moment Dygta held onto his fork and stopped in mid-air. It looks like the fungus in his fork prick is waiting to be put in his mouth. Dygta then smiled at her smile.

"I'll be honest I didn't think about it. But would you just walk away, if I thought about it and said something like that?" dygta says put the mushroom in his mouth and chew it.

Hearing that, Constan laughed out loud. Rain still hits the earth. Some hit the window because of the strong wind, but Constan's cottage became warm because of the presence of Dygta.

"I enjoyed that kind of life for about a week, and I realized that it was just re-creating unnatural traits." Constan took a glass containing Chianti* and drank it. He also took cheese for his drinking partner. Dygta just looked at him, seeing Constan's hands were too smooth and smooth the size of the men.

"Do you want cheese?" constan said.

Dygta tried the little cheese offered by Constan and tasted it. It turns out that the cheese smells strong. Dygta chose apple sweets. Constan said that the sweets were given by women from Brinsham who sometimes came to clean their cottages. "He's very kind. But other than that, he was always anxious because I was living here alone," Constan chuckled. "I don't know what he'd say if I wasn't alone here."

Now Dygta was not surprised to himself if every time he laughed with Constan's words. Dygta laughed as he licked the remaining sugar on his finger. Dygta knew at the time that Constan could please him quickly and hurt him quickly. That easy. And that goes for someone else.

The seconds were ticking, he was getting softer and more relaxed in his carriage, no stiffness, no fear. He became fascinated. There was a Banker who enjoyed his own tea, curling his body near the fireplace.

The clock kept ticking, they let out a long sigh to each other. Constan finally broke the silence between them.

Dygta smiled and showed Constan that his plate was empty. "I'm hungrier than I thought."

"Oh, the land of our pasture is famous for its fertility. Coming to Devon, that's why I'm here. You can quickly fatten your body."

"ha ha, you wouldn't look better if your cheeks turned round and your belly fat filled, which would only make fans leave you" Dygta said.

"My thousands of fans will faint when they see me fattening!" sahut Constan with his laughter. He joked with a word of flexing himself. "I provide surprises for them, sometimes. In my upcoming show, I will play a father... And that's what made us look for a simple laywoman with no pretensions. A lot of people don't fit in that. Some are still small, some are still eating, the point is not appropriate."

Dygta laughed at Constan's fathering someone mischievous.

"There's nothing if we don't find the right one" Constan said. "There's an offer for me to go to New York, if this British drama runs out of popularity, and I'll take it."

"Have you never been in a movie?" ask Dygta.

"No! I did some scenes for the TV series and it ended faster. But six to eight weeks in a movie studio, and it's gonna bore me and age in there."

Dygta smiled in his impatience. The banker approached and stroked him. His left hand to stroke, and Dygta saw his faint finger marks disappear. He tried to remember, hoping to recollect. However, as he expected, his memories floated out of nowhere. He looked at Constan. Maybe he thinks the ring has something to do with Peters House.

"Your comfortable tea made me fly into the seventh sky. I won't have dinner again if I go back to the Peters family home" Dygta said.

Constan turned to look at the big clock. Dygta saw Constan's mouth forming the letter O, confused. "They've started dinner if I come back" Dygta exclaimed. "What should I do? Is Manner back from Plymouth?" ask again.

"I don't think so yet" said Constan leaning back on his chair and tasting Chianti. Then his smile was clearly visible on the lips. "Is Manner worried about you?"

"Slightly," his face flushed red at the sight of Constan's smile like that and all the enchantments just a moment ago vanished already, like a twilight light engulfed by the darkness of night. Dygta began to shiver, feeling his body cold, a hostile air appeared again between the two.

"That's the way he is, because you have to know. That's Manner's responsibility to me" Dygta said.

Constan was silent, not responding. The room was quiet again, there was only the sound of fire whistling to each other. The banker moved to raise his head, he lay at Dygta's feet. Now, Banker put his head to Constan's knee. Constan also caressed it.

"You like Manner, don't you? Is it really like that, Dygta?!" ask Constan after a long silence.
