Chapter 21: Nightmares

That day the wind blew, the air felt so cold that it pierced into the skin. The sky looked very dark, no sunlight was present. The atmosphere felt very tense. The leaves move irregularly due to the violent wind. No birds or other animals ran. The rumbling sound was present by bringing great power to create a commotion around the palace. The entire palace came out and looked at the sky. They see unusual phenomena.

Everyone was wondering what this sign was? The sky was angry with them. Why does Langir look so scary. The prince who was having lunch at his residence with the little concubine was shocked by the rumbling sound. The prince invited the little concubine to come out to see the events that were going on outside. But the little concubine refused him, she looked very frightened. The prince tried to calm him down. The prince continued to accompany the little concubine inside the room.

"Are you okay?" ask the worried prince.

"Prince, don't go. Stay here with me." said the little concubine with a face full of anxiety.

"Hm, everything's gonna be fine. I'll stay here with you." said the prince trying to calm him down.

The rumbling sounds in the sky continued to sound nonstop. The sound was getting more and more terrifying. Suddenly lightning came and struck one of the palace gates. All the palace residents were getting panicked. All those in the palace prostrated themselves and prayed that the heavens would not be angry with them. The emperor and all the court officials continued to prostrate and ask forgiveness to the heavens. The whole community was terrified and could only pray and cry. That day all the humans in Xiao kingdom could only see the anger of the sky and were unable to do anything about it.

The sound of lightning suddenly disappeared and formed a huge black hole. From the black hole, a light falls to the earth. They were more and more frightened to see this phenomenon. The prince was very curious as to what was happening at this moment. Yet she did not dare to leave her little concubine. The little concubine was very frightened. His entire body was trembling, his face was full of anxiety, a lot of sweat dripping down his temples.

"Prince, I don't want to go. I don't want to go." said the little concubine repeatedly.

"Who? Who do I have to tell?" ask the prince worried.

"He's outside. He wants to take me home. I don't want to leave here." said the little concubine trembling.

"Little concubine, tell me who he is? Who do you mean by her word?" asked the prince a little.

"He'll take me. He wants to separate us." said the little concubine who was acting strangely.

The prince did not understand all this. The prince looked very confused. The prince did not understand who the person who would take him was. The prince did not understand what happened to his little concubine. The prince is in his daydream.

"Prince." call the voice of the little concubine quietly.

The call awakened the prince from his daydream. He looked at his little concubine. The prince was shocked when he saw the body of his strange-looking little concubine. His body almost disappeared.

"Prince. I don't want to go." said the little concubine.

"Little concubine what's going on? Why is your body like this?" asked the prince in panic.

"Prince, I don't want to disappear" said the little concubine in tears.

"Little concubine please don't disappear" the prince said in a panic.

Slowly her small concubine body began to disappear into a grain of light. The prince could not believe what he saw. He was getting panicked and scared. The body of his little concubine was disappearing. The crying finally exploded. The prince shouted loudly as he watched his small concubine's body disappear into a grain of light. Without any trace of it, his body completely dispelled.

"Little concubine." call the prince down.

Tears continued to flow down the prince's cheeks. His body was still stiff. That fear had fused with his heart. His eyes were empty and his tears were still there. His little concubine left. His little concubine really left. After the departure of her little concubine, the sky calmed down again. Everything looks like it was. The entire palace was happy, the sky did not show any more anger. Everyone bowed and thanked the sky. Everyone was very happy, only the prince was grieving.

"Little concubine.." cried the prince loudly.

"Prince, get up." call the little concubine to try to wake the prince from his sleep.

"Prince get up." call the little concubine once more.

The prince who listened to the call tried to open his eyes, he saw in front of him his little concubine. The prince hugged her tightly, making sure that it was just a dream.

"Do you have a nightmare prince?" ask the anxious little concubine.

"I beg you not to go." whispered the prince with a trembling body.

"I'm here. Calm down." said the gentle little concubine.

The prince who was still frightened was only able to tightly hug his little concubine and say nothing more. His little concubine tried to make him comfortable. He again laid the prince on the bed and hugged him comfortably.

"I'm here. It was just a dream. I'm here." whispered the little concubine.

The tight hug and the soft voice of the little concubine made the prince feel comfort. The prince calmed down. His body looks more relaxed. The prince closed his eyes again and slept beside his little concubine. The prince wished this was all just as a sleeping flower. He didn't want all this to be real.

"I hope all this is just a nightmare" the prince said in his heart.

A small concubine accompanied him. Although he did not know what kind of dream the prince saw in his sleep. But the little concubine knew that one day she really had to leave the prince. Maybe that day was a real nightmare for the prince.

"I hope that when I leave, you will be happy for the prince." said the little concubine in her heart.

Throughout the night, the little concubine kept her company in bed. Although it looked calm, but the little concubine did not want to make the prince nervous. Without a word, the little concubine simply lay beside her. Through the dream, apparently the little concubine had been given a warning to complete her task here.
