Chapter 1: Time to Arrive (Part 1)

That night the emperor looked towards the sky, he saw something different. The sky was darker and the moon was bigger and red. There was no sound of the wind, no crow's voice signifying the atmosphere of the night. Everything feels quiet and clutching.

"My emperor, you are here" said the little concubine.

"Hm, look tonight that month feels very different. He looks big, but the light looks red like he's feeling something" the emperor said briefly and continued to focus on seeing the moon.

The little concubine smiled and said nothing. But the emperor did not realize behind the smile of the little concubine, his eyes were glazed. Those eyes were very innocent and could not hide anything. The two of them simply fell silent and looked at the red moonlight back then. They felt the silence that night.

But suddenly their calmness was disturbed, there was a very creepy crow sound, the wind sounded like stepping in the darkness, the air felt cold and made their bodies shiver. The two of them started to feel a strange feeling, very strange.

"My concubine, we better get in. I feel like tonight's atmosphere isn't good for our health." The emperor said and immediately held the hand of the little concubine to invite her in.

But the little concubine shook her head, she refused the emperor's invitation. The little concubine began to cry without cause and immediately embraced the emperor. The Emperor looked puzzled yet he was unable to ask anything. She could only hug her little concubine and try to calm her down.

"My emperor, do you know that I love you so much?" said the little concubine and hugged the emperor more and more tightly.

"Hm, I know. Even your love is greater than my love." said the emperor gently.

"Do you know that I really want you to be happy" said the little concubine with unstoppable tears.

"Hm, I know all that. You never once made me sad" said the emperor gently and kept listening to his little concubine.

"So please forgive me" said the little concubine in a pitiful voice.

The emperor was more and more confused by the words of his little concubine, her words were very strange, sounding sad and heartbreaking.

"I will always forgive your mistakes. Because I always loved you." said the emperor and kissed his little concubine's forehead.

The emperor was shocked when he saw the face of his little concubine. It looks like a very deep sadness. His facial expression was like he was really hurt.

Suddenly there was a rumbling sound in the sky, the sky looked even darker and gripping. The king was shocked by the weather tonight. He wanted to bring his little concubine in but once again the little concubine refused him and just hugged the emperor tightly.

The Emperor continued to look towards the sky, his fear starting to feel. The sky is like moving and turning. That red moonlight started to turn pitch-black and ended up being nowhere to be seen at all. The wind from the east continued to move towards them. The wind continued to move until it fused with the sky. Suddenly the unification of the sky and wind made it like a big hole. The emperor was shocked and frightened.

The wind kept moving and approached them. The emperor eventually tried to force the little concubine to enter, but the emperor failed. The little concubine slipped out of her arms and was carried away by the wind. The emperor tried to grab the hand of the little concubine. He tried to keep saving the little concubine, but all in vain. Slowly the hand of the little concubine began to slip from the hand of the emperor.

"No.. No. gabe.. Please don't let go of your hand. Please do not let go of your hands." said the emperor in fear and dismay.

"My emperor, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." said the little concubine and immediately let go of her hand.

The emperor's body felt weak and his legs seemed to be unable to support his body anymore. He fell down and could not catch up to his little concubine. She could only cry watching her little concubine disappear with the wind. She continued to cry and eventually became unconscious.

"Little concubine." shouted the emperor who made the entire palace ladies surprised.

"Greetings emperor. You're up?" ask one of the palace ladies.

The emperor held his forehead which felt very dizzy. He looked around him. It turned out that he was already in his bed with several maids and palace guards guarding him.

"Did you see the little concubine?" ask the emperor expectantly.

"Sorry emperor, who's the little concubine?" ask one of the palace ladies.

The Emperor was confused as to what had really happened. The emperor immediately got up and went towards the eastern palace. He wanted to make sure that the little concubine was okay and that it was all just his nightmares. The emperor walked quickly and all the palace ladies and palace guards followed him hurriedly.

The emperor hoped that his little concubine was waiting for him in the room as usual. However, when he reached the eastern palace, the emperor was greatly shocked. He only saw the palace like it had been abandoned for a long time, the palace was very dull, dirty and completely unkempt.

"What happened to this palace?" the emperor shouted with anger.

"I forgive us emperor. Forgive us emperor." said the entire palace lady and palace guard who immediately knelt down and filled with fear.

"I forgive us emperor. The emperor himself asked us to leave this palace empty and forbade us from taking care of this palace." one of the palace ladies-in-waiting said slowly and fearfully.

"I told you to?" the emperor asked with a confused feeling.

"Then where's the little concubine?" ask emperor.

"I forgive the emperor's servant. I did not know about the little concubine. This palace belongs to the empress who has been executed by the emperor." replied one of the palace ladies carefully.

The emperor's body went back limp and his head hurt. Quickly the palace ladies and palace guards brought the emperor to the western palace. The court physician tried to check the state of the emperor and give him sleeping pills so that the emperor could rest.

"You take care of the emperor's condition. It seems the emperor is in a hallucination phase. He would keep asking about things that didn't exist. So you just listen to it. You gotit?" said the palace physician to all the palace ladies and guards.

That night the emperor slept until morning. That night he had a dream. He was in a room. The room was very small and dark. The Emperor could see nothing around him. He continued walking through the room until he heard the voice of a woman.

"My emperor." a woman's voice called out to him.

"Little concubine, is that you?" said the emperor and continued to search around him in agitation.
