Chap. 77: The Wind Against Fire

I opened my eyes and then realized that I had just come to my senses from my sleep. After adjusting the focus of my eyes, I could finally see clearly.

Then without a pause Nimis made an attack while I was still at his side that was trying to do a stab to my stomach.

Following my two punches earlier, from behind came a gust of strong wind that was ready to hit Nimis. He did not expect the attack from me and chose to retreat, so my attack only destroyed the ground that was in front of me.

Retracing perfectly, Nimis re-installed his horses and prepared to attack again while chanting something.

"Hinokami no Chikara: Hi no Zangeki, Sannen!"

Nimis again released his Katana in the air and created three gusts of fire that pointed straight at me.

I made another round of wind that protected me from that slash. After my fire and Hariken slashes disappeared, I realized that Nimis was nowhere before.

I looked around me looking left and right, but still couldn't find it. The smoke and fire produced from our fight completely limited my current vision.

Suddenly a wall of stone fences fell beside me. I looked towards him but it was just a wall that collapsed because it was not strong enough to withstand our fight.

Then I felt horror in my back neck. With a flash of lightning I looked the other way and found Nimis who was preparing to stab me from the side.

I tried to hold the prick, but somehow Katana Nimis' blade penetrated right between my fingers, as if it was thrusting in and preparing to stab my head.

The last thing I saw was a black street on fire. And after that, everything went dark.
